Our Journey Back To Love

Chapter 151

Chapter 151

Stella walked out of the police station, her mind in a whirl. She didn’t know how to explain this mess.

After a moment’s thought, she decided to call Yoel.  Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ Findɴovel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Yoel was silent for a while before comforting her. “Don’t panic. I’ll send someone to find Alice.”

“Can you really find her?”

“I’ll try my best,” Yoel reassured her before hanging up.

On the other end, Sandra handed him a cup of coffee and asked, “Mr. Perkins, are you really going to help

Ms. Yates find Alice?”

Sitting elegantly on the couch, Yoel flipped through the files in his hand and asked, “If Stella breaches her

contract with Nas Group, how much would she have to pay?”

Sandra replied, “We spent 50 million dollars on advertising in Eurania and Andrunian for the product launch. If it doesn’t go as planned, she’d have to compensate Nas Group for 50 million dollars.

Yoel pondered for a moment. “Draft a contract. Have her pay us 50 million dollars.”

Sandra was taken aback. “Aren’t we going to look for Alice, Mr. Perkins?”

“I thought about it. Rather than being nice to a woman, I’d rather have her owe me money. If she owes me.

she’ll have to work for me forever.”

Yoel’s handsome face was reflected in the floor–to–ceiling window. There was a hint of mischief in his

smile.

Rather than being a simp, he’d rather be her creditor, so he had no intention of sending anyone to find

Alice.

Stella waited for the outcome at her studio. Suddenly, she slapped herself,

She shouldn’t have gone to the hotel last night. If she hadn’t left the studio, the theft wouldn’t have happened. She sat on the couch, feeling like a soulless doll.

The next day brought more bad news.

“Ms. Yates! We’ve got a problem!”

Xenia ran up to the second floor, “Our rival, Everchange, just launched their new products online, and they look exactly like our designs! Nas Group is asking us if we copied Everchange’s ideas to deceive them.”

Sitting on the couch, Stella quickly grabbed her phone and went online. Everchange’s new products were

indeed identical to her designs.

Alice hadn’t just stolen her drafts. She had sold them to their rival, Everchange.

Now, Starlight Couture was accused of plagiarism. Their reputation was completely ruined, and the

product launch was dead in the water. Nas Group’s heavy investment in pre–launch marketing was

completely wasted.

Stella’s face turned ashen. In the afternoon, Nas Group called Stella for a meeting. A female executive

came to speak with her.

Stella told the truth. The executive took notes and said they’d notify her after the higher–ups had a

meeting

Stella, feeling weak, asked, “What’s Nas Group’s stance on this?”

The executive said, “Ms. Yates, we spent around 50 million dollars on pre–launch marketing in Eurania and Andrunian. Nas Group might ask you to cover that cost

Since a plagiarism Incident had occurred, Nas Group wouldn’t bear any losses. Stella had to cover it all.

Stella had expected this. She asked, “What about Mr. Perkins? Will he face any consequences?”

*The promotional campaign was massive. Mr. Perkins might get demoted,” the executive replied.

Stella bit her lip, feeling immense pain. She hadn’t expected to drag Yoel down with her. She numbly walked out of Nas Group.

A gust of wind made her shiver. Suddenly, she felt dizzy. She reached out her hand to touch her forehead and found that it was burning hot.

However, her body felt so cold. She took a few steps before collapsing in a haze

At the hospital, Sharon was in surgery, while Brian sat in the hallway with a grim expression. Jessica

stood next to him.

Just then, she received a call. Smiling, she said, “Well done.”

Brian glanced at her. Jessica gave him a sweet smile. “Brian, are you hungry? Should I get someone to bring us food?”

“No need.”

As he spoke, the light outside the operating room dimmed,
