Once Upon A Rejection

Grayson started laughing as soon as the door closed behind Talen. I looked at him, confused by his reaction.

“I feel a little sorry for Talen. Scarlett got him really worked up.” Grayson said.

“I am sure he can deal with that problem by himself.” I said.

“That is so mean.” Grayson said, pouting slightly. I knew he was joking but I still felt slightly guilty. I should have been able to control my own lycan better, I should have never let her take control. I wonder what he thinks of me now, can’t be anything good that is for sure.

‘The only thing that you shouldn’t have done is send him away unsatisfied.’ Scarlett complained.

“I wouldn’t do that to you.” I said, moving closer to him.

“I know.” Grayson said.

He reached over to the bedside table and picked a bowl of fruit from the breakfast tray that Talen had brought in. He picked up a piece of fruit and placed it in my mouth. I closed my mouth around his fingers. Grayson let out a small growl.

“I can tell what is on your mind and I wish we could act on it.” He said.

“Why can’t we? We have some time before the meeting.” I asked. I leaned towards him and started kissing his neck, running my hand across his chest.

“We have just less than an hour and I don’t want us to be late to the meeting.” Grayson said.

I continued to move my hands down his chest.

“Maybe we can multitask. I am going to take a shower, you should join me.” I said.

I got out of bed and slowly took off my underwear before walking seductively into the bathroom. Grayson let out a growl and followed me. I didn’t even reach the shower before I felt his arms wrap around my waist. He gripped my h*p and spun me around so that I was facing him.

He pressed his lips against mine passionately. I could feel his hands on me, holding me close to him as he explored my body. He pulled me close, his e******n pressing against me. I started stepping backwards, pulling him with me as I went.

I was starting to feel weak at the knees as my body yearned for Grayson’s touch. I leaned back against the wall. The cold tiles against my back made me inhale sharply.

We held each other for a few moments while we caught our breath. Once we were both a little more composed we started to wash each other. If only we didn’t have to go to this stupid meeting.

“The meeting.” I said.

“Shit.” Grayson said.

He jumped out of the shower and ran into the bedroom, I wrapped myself in a towel and followed him. He was over by his bedside table, he picked up his phone.

“s**t, s**t, s**t. We have less than ten minutes before the meeting is due to start.” Grayson said.

The next few minutes we moved as though the house was on fire around us. We managed to get dressed, and down a cup of coffee in less than eight minutes. That in itself must be some kind of record. Once I put my coffee cup on the bedside table Grayson picked me up and started running towards his fathers office.

“What are you doing, I can run too you know.” I complained.

Grayson didn’t answer. He just kept running, only putting me down once we reached the door to his father’s office. Grayson bent over trying to catch his breath. It was only a short run but he was sprinting and carrying a whole extra person while doing it. I opened the door.

I looked inside the room. Everyone was already there, sitting at the table. They all looked at us as we entered the room. Grayson was still panting which got raised eyebrows from a few of the council members. I could tell that they were annoyed at having being kept waiting and that was before we turned up looking a mess and probably still smelling of s*x.

“Good breakfast?” Talen asked, smirking at me.
