Once Rejected Now Desired By The Lycan King Chapter 13

Chapter 13

ETHAN

I paced around the room, thinking of how to teach the pack an unforgettable lesson when an idea crossed my mind. Every single person in the pack had disrespected Beth in one way or the other, and inflicting pain on them in a cruel way doesn’t sound like a bad idea.

I sent for Andrew immediately and waited for him to get here.

“You sent for me,” he said as soon as he got in.

“How is Beth doing? Are you keeping an eye on her?” I asked, and he nodded.

“She just turned off the light in her room so I am assuming that she has gone to bed.”

“Very good. Prepare a troop and set fire to every single house in the pack without leaving any aside.” I ordered, and he stared at me as if he had just heard me wrong.

“Including this one we are in?” He asked.

“Starting from this. Why don’t you just set a fire inside this room right now and have us killed before we can get the plan started?” I hissed and he nodded.

Tm

“I’m sorry, I was just trying to be sure.”

“Warn the people beforehand, but if anyone tries to resist, burn them down along with their house,” I ordered and he nodded before taking his leave.

It was night already and half of the pack members would be in their house right now. I imagined how helpless they would feel once their homes were ruined and they could no longer feel protected in their pack, and it smooths my anger.

Anyone who tried to bring harm to Beth would have to dance to my tunes.

A few hours passed and everywhere was still peaceful. I didn’t like this. I was expecting everywhere to be in chaos- as if they could hear my thoughts, a loud scream broke out.

“Fire!” Someone screamed.

I went outside to see how far my men had gone, and I was quite impressed. Half of the pack was in flames and everywhere was a complete mess. People running for their lives, women. choking, and the men trying to fight my men but of course, they didn’t stand a chance.

The view was quite satisfying. Their eyes were burning with rage, but they couldn’t save their homes. They are eager to destroy those who do that to them, but they are smart enough to know that they would be fighting a losing battle. So they sat still and watched their house

burn to the ground, while they tried to save their lives.

This must have been how Beth felt the whole time she was here. Helpless. Seeing her predator at the receiving end only makes me want to taunt them all.

“Bring me Darren and his family,” I announced and Andrew disappeared into the house. A few minutes later, Darren and his obnoxious sister were dragged to their knees alongside.

their mother.

“What a view,” I scoffed..

“What did we do to deserve this? We haven’t done anything to cross you. Why are you burning our houses? You are making innocent people suffer,” Darren said with a mixture of shock, confusion and anger.

“Your people do not deserve my sympathy, neither do you deserve it.” Beth ran out of the house in her pyjamas looking as shocked as she could be as she looked around everywhere in a complete mess. She doesn’t look the least happy, but she would be once she realized that I was doing this for her.

“What is going on, Ethan? Why are you hurting the people? We came here to help them, not ruin the pack,” she said, looking a little disappointed.

“I’m sorry, but I refuse to help these ingrates. After everything they made you go through, you forgive them and even run here to help them without asking for anything in return. But what did they do? They were busy planning on how to get rid of you.”

“Nobody is trying to hurt me. What are you talking about?” She asked, looking confused.

“The people here are planning on how to get rid of you and I don’t have the patience to sit and watch them bring any harm your way.

Beth’s mouth was left ajar and Darren shook his head frantically. “No, my people are innocent in all of this. No one would dare to harm Beth. It was Cara. My Betta found out while she was talking about it, and I banished her from the pack as soon as I heard about it,” Darren confessed.

“If you had put your people in their place from the onset, none of this would have happened. If one of you poses a threat to my woman, it is only expected of me to wipe out the entire pack.

“Ethan, please, stop your men, Beth begged and I hated how soft she was.

“Consider this as a warning. I won’t be generous enough to spare anyone if there is another time. Let this be the last time you will ever come for Beth or you will know what it means to face my wrath,I warned.

I turned my attention to Andrew and ordered him to stop the others. I left the Red Moon pack without giving them a chance to speak or even apologize for their deeds.

“Ethan…” Beth called as soon as we got back to my place.

“Go and gather your luggage. We are leaving for my pack tonight.”

She didn’t look a bit pleased about my order, but she didn’t question it.

I came here for a business in which I finished on the same day I met Beth. Seeing how my mate was in trouble, I couldn’t bring myself to leave without her so I waited for a little longer, but now that I have dealt with the Red Moon pack, it is time to return back to the North, where my pack resides.

The Red Moon pack should consider themselves lucky for being far away from my pack or this would have been the beginning of their punishment.
