My Wife Wants a Divorce by Red Little Fruit

Chapter 980 A Weird Hotel

Sydney blushed. She rolled her eyes at Julien.

'He's trying to turn me on again!'

Sydney put her fist down and stopped the role-playing as a reporter.

She was worried Julien would say something even more embarrassing.

"This isn't funny." Sydney let out a grunt and handed the ticket to Julien.

Julien shook his head. He didn't take the ticket but said, "What do you think? Would you like to spend the night at the hotel with me? This is the first time I've won a prize. Won't you enjoy it with me?" Sydney was amused. She asked, "Do you really want to go to the hotel?"

"Of course! This is the first time I've ever won a prize, so I'll enjoy it. Otherwise, it will be a waste." Julien chuckled.

Sydney believed he had a point.

She knew the hotel. It was a famous one. There were many branches around the country. And the hotel had a variety of couples' suites. It was especially popular among couples.

But Sydney had never been there, so she was interested.

Sensing Sydney was intrigued, Julien was happy inside. He knew he could talk her into spending the night with him at the hotel. He added, "I won the presidential suite. It will be such a big loss if we don't go! This suite costs $150,000 a night." He let out a deliberate sigh.

Then Sydney immediately agreed. She withdrew her hand and nodded seriously, "Let's go! You're so lucky to win the prize. We should definitely go!"

Although she had been to many luxury hotels, she didn't want to waste this opportunity.

A night in the suite cost $150,000. It would be a huge waste if they gave up, even if they didn't spend any money...

And it was Julien's first time winning a prize. She would love to see him have fun in it. It was a rare experience.

Julien had a smug smile the moment Sydney agreed.

He knew she didn't like to waste, so he said the above on purpose.

It turned out Sydney bought it.

"It's getting late. It's a bit far from the hotel. Let's go." Julien took Sydney's hand.

Sydney followed Julien towards the car. Julien walked quickly. He was clearly looking forward to spending the night at the hotel with Sydney. She was amused. After about half an hour, they arrived at the hotel.

They got out of the car. Standing in front of the hotel, Sydney looked up at the hotel building. She felt embarrassed to enter the hotel.

The exterior of the hotel building looked romantic. The hotel building was in the shape of a heart and the exterior of the building was pink. It looked very romantic.

'It has such a unique exterior. I guess the inside is even more intoxicating.'

It would take some courage for couples to walk into this hotel.

The style of this hotel was so bizarre, especially since it was surrounded by many office buildings.

Sydney guessed that Julien must be hesitating, too.

She turned her head slightly and looked at Julien, who was also staring up at the building.

Julien's lips were compressed into a thin line. He had an embarrassed look on his face.

Apparently, he was also shocked by the building.

Sydney burst out laughing.

Julien turned to her and asked, "What are you laughing at?"

"Doesn't this hotel look weird?" Sydney teased.

Julien didn't answer, but he nodded his head.

This hotel did look weird.

It was not ugly. It looked romantic.

But, surrounded by a block of office buildings, it looked garish.

Julien rubbed his temples with annoyance.

He was dumbfounded that the hotel at which he got a free night was such a one.

'I should learn about the place before I go in case such an embarrassing situation occurs again.'

Noticing Julien's silence, Sydney laughed even louder. "What should we do? Shall we go home or shall we go in there?"

After a few seconds of silence, Julien gritted his teeth and uttered, "Let's go in there!"

Sydney froze, "We're going in there?"

"Yes." Julien nodded his head.

Julien thought that since they were here, there was no reason for them to give up on this moment. Running away was not Julien's character.

If words got out that he was afraid to go into a hotel for couples, people would laugh at him for being a coward.

Sydney didn't know what Julien was thinking. She glanced at Julien and then at the hotel building. She curled her lips again.

She thought that the hotel looked so creepy, so Julien wouldn't go in there. He didn't look like a man who would go into a hotel like that.

And Sydney couldn't imagine Julien showing up at such a hotel. How strange would that be!

She wouldn't laugh at him even if he turned around and left.

Sydney didn't want to enter the hotel either, so she could understand Julien's feelings.

However, Julien decided to go in.

"Are you sure?" Sydney asked with a deep breath and a serious expression as she suppressed the surprise in her heart.

Julien nodded his head, his face tightened, "Of course! We are standing right in front of the hotel. Why don't we go there? Let's go! It's just a hotel anyway." After that, he took her hand and headed for the hotel's front door.

Sydney had a bitter smile.

She would have believed he had no problem with the hotel if his body hadn't been so stiff or his expression less stony.

But his stiff body and tense face betrayed him. It seemed they were not going to a hotel but to a battlefield.

Sydney found it so funny. And she laughed out loud.

'It's obvious that Julien doesn't like this hotel. Why did he force himself to go in there?

He didn't want to waste the prize? I don't think so. He just wanted to keep me here with him and try a new place.'

Sydney had looked up this hotel on their way here. It was said to be the best hotel for couples and that every couple enjoyed their stay here.

She became curious, 'What makes this hotel so popular among couples?'

While Sydney was thinking about it, Julien had already checked in.

When she came back to her senses, Julien was refusing the receptionist's introduction and taking her towards the elevator.

Ding!

The door of the elevator opened.

Sydney heard Julien sigh with relief as they entered the elevator.

She looked up at him and noticed that his expression had finally relaxed. She chuckled, "Why are you so nervous?"

Julien glanced at her and replied, "This is the first time I've been in such a hotel."

"Me too." Sydney responded with a grin.

After a few seconds of silence, Julien said, "When I was checking in, they glanced at me with smirking eyes."

Sydney was speechless because that was true.
