I turn around and see Jaden standing with his head held high, his hair pulled back into a ponytail, hands folded in front of him with a distasteful look.

"Let her go" he says simply, but I could hear the edge to his voice, he was trying to keep his composure, his self control tearing at the seams. "Jaden... I begin to say, trying to explain myself but he raises his hand without looking in my direction.

"She can decide for herself," Dimitri replies calmly, pulling me closer to his side.

"I won't repeat myself Dimitri❞ Jaden's muscles were stretching underneath his clothes, flexing his knuckles with his stone cold glare, and Dimitri is not in the least intimidated, The aura of both men both screamed they wanted to go hand in hand in combat. This enrages Jaden, I saw the attack coming floored I let it happen.

Jaden takes a blow underneath Dimitri's jaw, Dimitri tumbles backwards, recovers quickly and is ready to defend himself but I stand in-between the two not wanting to know how ugly this fight could get.

"Enough!" I yelled, "I can choose for myself thank you Jaden for your concern" I say, glancing at Dimitri with sad eyes my way of apologizing quietly.

"Should I tell her or you will?" Jaden accuses with a smirk.

What are you talking about?" I was frustrated, my temples were beginning to ache. There's always one thing or another between these men.

"Dimitri, why don't you tell her how you've been using her to get revenge" Jaden continues to my dismay.

I'm taken aback by the statement, I know Jaden was mad and would say anything at this point but Dimitri stays quiet glaring at Jaden making my stomach clench in fear.

"What does he mean Dimitri?" I ask, expecting Dimitri to say he's lying or scream at him for misleading me but Dimitri stays silent not meeting my eyes.

"Dimitri!" I yelled, getting pissed off by his silence.

"Oh I'll tell you"

"Shut up Jaden!" Dimitri yells

"No let him speak if you have nothing to hide" glaring at Dimitri while emphasizing the "hide"

It was four years ago" Jaden started averting my attention back to him.

They both prop to the floor Dimitri on top so he had the advantage, hitting Jaden perpetually, Jaden blocked most of the attacks with his hands.

"Dimitri stop!" I yelled not scared for Jaden but Dimitri. He could be severely punished for hitting the Alpha but Dimitri had gone berserk ignoring all my attempts.

"I fucking loved her" he said in rage, turning my blood cold. Who was he talking about? The girl Jaden slept with? Distressed about the anticipation I hurry to part them but get hit by the back of Dimitri hand in the gut and fall on the ground.

This makes Jaden react, pushing Dimitri off him before rushing to my side with a busted bottom lip and sustaining a few cuts on his face.

"Are you okay?" He asked, his tone laced with concern.

"I'm so sorry Hailey" Dimitri apologies but I don't look at him.

"Jaden continues the story" I say, feeling a little ache in my chest.

"The little twat didn't once mention her mate Dimitri.

"This bastard knew she was marked but still went along with" Dimitri looked at Jaden repulsively.

"Even when I walked into the room he didn't stop each and every thrust was a bullet through my chest he saw me he fucking saw me but did stop pounding harder into her and all I did was watch on my knees my heart was bleeding every time she moaned his goddamn name!!" Dimitri interjects softly, vividly hurt.

Jaden? How could he do that?

I'm amazed by my shock the motherfucker f*****g made me watch him f**k Riley I've been blinded by his fake side forgetting how cruel he had been to me and looks like everyone around him.

"But I promise I didn't use you" Dimitri lies through his teeth.

"No!" Closing my ears with my fingers I shut your voice. I've had enough of the lies.

"Hailey.. Jaden touches my arm I jerk away,

Don't touch me!" I get off the floor, not letting my tears show. Looking back and forth between the two men that had played with my emotions, I was just a ploy in their game, a pawn of revenge and past tides, there's a part of me that's screaming I should have seen it coming but a greater part showing me how deep I had fallen for their tricks.

"Both of you stay away from me" I warned sternly. "You should be ashamed of Jaden and Dimitri this isn't fair" I whispered brokenly, before any of them could feed me more of their lies I turned away running into the forest.

I had settled at the back of a large tree crying my heart out, my ill fate mocking me with its smile.

"You'll have to be smart about it" I hear a soft deep whisper. One I couldn't recognize and light footsteps grazing through the grass.

I wipe my eyes and snort with my sleeves. If it were in any way Dimitri's or Jaden's attempt to find me I had to run away.

Standing up to look behind the trees I see wolves, sneaking quietly forming a spacious circle. I gasped, the pack might undergo an attack. I had to warn Jaden.

Turning swiftly I bumped into a figure, he was big, built like a wall, his shadow swallowing me whole, smirking viciously I swallowed the bile in my throat he was part of the mob.

Instinctively, I kick him in his groin. He budges in pain squeezing his legs, yelping in agony.

I hurry past him then started running when I hear behind me "Catch her"

I fled as fast as my legs could take me but couldn't go far enough.

The wolves had surrounded the forest, gaining on me easily,the guy I kicked early walked up to me angry, smacking me hard on the face, my hands breaking my fall and I felt blood trickling down the side of my face. The wolves had tied me to a tree discussing their plan and still kept an eye on me.

They finally finished their hushed conversations, a few leaving while some walked up to me.

"What should we do with her?" One said in an accent.

"I'm feeling a bit crazy tonight" another one adds, rubbing his groin making me spit out irritated.

They all laughed at the gesture, they had come to ambush the pack house as long as that mission was not accomplished I was safe... for now

"We'll take her back with us as a souvenir" he walks up to me picking my chin to look at him, titling my face left to the right inspecting me like a toy.

"I like them spicy" he smiles, I glare at him sucking in enough saliva then spitting on him, he steps back angry he hits me again my face burns from the impact.

"How dare you!" A voice I knew too well yelled; Jaden, he ran in leaping from the ground morphing mid air into his wolf pouncing on my assaulter in a matter of seconds he hand ripped out his throat, I look away from the bloody sight even if he could kill a few, he was outnumbered.

The rest circled him waiting for him to attack when one went behind him.

"Jaden behind you!" I yell warning him, he moves away the wolf missing his intended attack likewise Jaden scratched him on his leg.

"Hailey" I hear a whisper calling to me. It was Dimitri, he cut off the rope easily with a knife taking my hand dragging me away from the huge fight.

"Dimitri you have to go back... to help Jaden" coming to a hult I said panting

We have to go warn the house," Dimitri insisted.

"I'll do that you handle things while backup approaches"

"What if you come into a wolf...

"I can take care of myself, you either head back or I will" I say firmly.

He mutters something I couldn't quite hear under his breath but doesn't object.

"Stay safe" he kisses me on the cheek, and runs back.

Helina is pouncing happily when I finally let her lose, transforming into my white, silvery wolf.
