Johan and Asher stayed the night at the hospital, everyone else left once they heard Macey was stable and promised to be back later with clothes for Johan and Macey. Macey had been moved to a ward about 6 am and Asher was on one side of the bed and Johan on the other. The doctors had said she would wake up in her own time. She had been cleaned up a little but there was still blood in her hair.

Johan held onto Macey's hand just needing to feel her. He hadn't been there when she needed him and he blamed himself. Asher was too scared to touch his sister but he didn't take his eyes off her. He was watching her chest rise and fall. He too blamed himself for what Tyler had done. He hadn't even worried about the fact that Tyler was dead. He just needed to see Macey wake up to know she would be ok. Well as ok as someone could be after being beaten almost to death by her brother.

Just before lunch, Raph came back to the hospital with clothes for Johan and food for both Johan and Asher. He didn't think either of them would leave Macey's side until they knew she was ok. He also had a bag that Cherry had packed for Macey which held her charger, clothes and toiletries. "How is she?" Raph asked juggling everything.

Johan looked towards Raph and went to help the guy. "Thanks for this Raph. Macey hasn't woken up yet but she should soon" Johan answered. Raph nodded before going over to stand next to Macey and handing Asher a coffee. Asher looked at the guy and nodded in thanks for the coffee. "Maybe you should go get a change of clothes and come back" Raph added. Asher shook his head no. He needed to see Macey was awake before he went anywhere.

Raph pulled up another chair and sat next to Macey and Johan. "Johan why not shower and change, I'll stay with Macey" Raph stated after they had all finished their coffee and food that Raph had brought. "I'll wait for Macey" Johan replied. "It's just next door and I will come and get you the minute she wakes. Sitting in a suit would be uncomfortable, besides you stink and have blood all over your shirt. She won't want to see that when she opens her eyes" Raph said firmly. Johan looked at his shirt and got up grabbing his bag to head into the bathroom to shower.

Asher was watching his sister and her eyes began to flutter. He scooted closer to his sister. "Macey, oh god please Macey wake up" Asher whispered to his sister. Raph got closer to Macey to check if she was waking just as he heard the shower turn on.

Macey was fighting to get out of the fog. She was in so much pain and didn't know why. She heard someone calling out to her but it was so quiet and she didn't know who it was. She was fighting her body and had been for a while. She tried to move her hand and managed to wiggle her fingers which hurt more than it should of.

"That's it, Macey, come on you can do it. Wake up from me Mace" Asher told his sister seeing her fingers wiggling. Asher had tears running down his face but right now he didn't care, his priority was Macey. Macey slowly opened her eyes blinking because the light was so bright. "That's it Macey" Asher repeated. Raph held her hand and squeezed it gently to let her know she wasn't alone.

Macey groaned in pain. Her throat was too dry to try and speak and she was in so much pain. Her head was pounding and her chest hurt so much she was struggling to take a breath. There was not a part of the body that didn't hurt. "Macey, it's Asher, can you hear me?" Asher asked his sister. Macey attempted to nod but started to cry because of the pain. "Don't cry Macey, I'll get a doctor" Asher rushed out.

Raph stood up still holding Macey's hand. "Macey is Raph, you are in the hospital," Raph told the girl who had tears streaming down her face. "Johan is in the bathroom" Raph added. Macey shook her head she remembered calling him and a girl answering. "He has a girlfriend" Macey choked out just as the bathroom door opened. "Macey you are his girlfriend" Raph responded alerting Johan to the fact Macey was awake.

"No, he was with someone. I called him" Macey cried out. She remembered calling him but not why. A girl answered and they were in the middle of having sex. "Macey, I'm right here" Johan stated walking out of the bathroom. Macey was getting more upset she didn't know why she was in the hospital, all she knew was that Johan was with a girl when she called him. "I called you and you were with a chick. She said you were busy. Go be with her" Macey spat. She was so confused and in so much pain.

Johan was shocked and confused about what Macey was saying. "Macey, do you know why you are in the hospital?" Raph asked. Macey tried to shake her head no. "Ok ok stay still the doctor is coming. Macey you are hurt" Raph answered. Johan walked next to Macey rubbing her hand trying to help calm her down.

The doctor and Asher entered the room to see Macey sobbing. "Macey, I'm Doctor Rose, do you know why you are here?" Dr Rose asked. Macey shook her head no. "Ok, Macey you were attacked last night at work by your brother. Your boyfriend and brother found you a few hours later unconscious and called the ambulance" Doctor Rose answered. He told Macey all her injuries before asking if she was in pain. He ordered some more painkillers when she informed him her entire body ached and she couldn't take a deep breath. He advised her to take small breaths due to her cracked ribs before exiting the room.

"Macey, I wasn't with anyone last night. Renee took my phone" Johan whispered to Macey when the doctor had gone. Macey tried to look at Johan to see if he was lying but it hurt too much. Johan stood up and leaned over Macey so she could see his face. "Macey I didn't have my phone when you called. Renee was helping your brother" Johan stated. Macey looked at Johan and more tears were streaming down her face. "It's true Macey. They were found in the car together" Asher stated. The painkillers were kicking in and Macey was slowly losing her fight of staying awake. "Get some sleep Mace, I'll be here when you wake up" Johan stated before gently kissing her forehead as she closed her eyes.
