Finding Emery

Kody took Emery into his arms while Bentley and Tristan helped Tucker up and they all headed into the house. Emery was still in fight or flight mode and nothing was calming her down. If she kept up the way she was, her body would give out and she was likely to lose consciousness. "Princess Emery, it's Kody, you are safe" Kody kept repeating while holding the girl in his arms. Her entire body was shaking like a leaf but she kept calling to Tucker.

Bentley and Tristan sat Tucker on the couch while Paulo and his dad stood silently not sure what to do. "Papa is Tucker going to be ok?" Paulo asked. "He is, we will make sure of it" Chris Paulo's papa answered. "Why did he hurt him?" Paulo asked. "He is a very bad person" Paulo's dad Jimmy answered. "But don't worry, boss will take care of it" he added. Jimmy worked in the accounting area for the gang but had heard talk about Dane recently. He felt horrible for not believing that Dane was in fact abusing his family.

Bentley got to work on assessing Tucker, he had been knocked out when he hit his head on the side of the car. Bentley needed to make sure he hadn't split his head open in the process. "Tristan can you get some ice please?" Bentley asked when he felt the lump on the little boys head. It wasn't split open at all. "Oh and is there any child's panadol around? He will have a headache when he wakes properly" Bentley continued. Tucker was awake but very dazed and you really couldn't class it as being awake.

Michael ordered some of his guards to take Dane to the cells, he was going to teach the man some manners. He didn't want the kids to accidentally see it at all and most of all he wanted to make sure his niece was alright. "What is going to happen to Tucker?" Seb asked. "We will work something out if his mother won't take him. I won't seperate him from Emery. It's seems they both understand each other because of their own trauma" Michael stated as he headed into the house to check on the kids.

The Quake's stepped into the house. Uncle Mike headed straight for Kody taking Emery out of his arms and pulling her into his chest. "Oh baby you are ok, you are safe and of so loved" uncle Mike whispered to Emery. "I'm so sorry sweetheart. We will set up a safe space here for you. I'm sorry I have let you down again" uncle Mike continued. He felt like he had truely let his niece down and he also felt like he let Tucker down. He had been so focused on finding Emery, that he stopped checking up on his members to see if they were still meeting the standards of being a Quake and he was going to rectify it immediately.

Tucker began to wake up and was searching around for his father so he could dodge any hits that were coming his way. "Hey you are safe" Tristan stated seeing Tucker frantically searching the room. "Tucker" Emery called out and wanted to get down and go over to Tucker. She was worried about him. "Emmy" Tucker whispered scared that his father would hurt her to hurt him. Uncle Mike didn't want to let Emery go so walked over to the couch where Tucker was laying. "She is safe Tucker" Bentley told the boy who looked panicked.

Tucker seemed to relax a little until he saw Michael sitting next to him. He was worried that he would hurt him because of what his father said about Emery. Emery threw herself onto Tucker and buried her face into his chest. Tucker immediately wrapped his arms around the little girl and smiled down at her. "I want to say thank you, to all of you for staying with Emery when she felt unsafe. You kept her safe. I also wanted to apologise to you Tucker for letting you down. I should of checked up on all my members and because I was busy, your dad hurt you. I want you to know it will never happen again" Michael stated. "You won't be going back to your father" Jasper spat.

Chase and Taz just wanted to hold their baby sister. They could see she was physically ok, but they also felt they let her down by not showing her she was safe here. Since her arrival things kept happening which contributed to her not feeling safe unless she was with one of them. It was the exact reason why their father had disappeared with her. It didn't look like Tucker was going to let her go any time soon and no one knew if it was for her benefit or for his.

"Are you ok?" Tucker whispered to Emery who nodded her head even though he could feel the wet patch her tears were making. "I got you hurt" Emery mumbled. If she hadn't of run because of the yelling, Tucker would of been at school at not got hurt by his dad. "Emery you listen to me" Seb stated, "that man was a bad man and I don't think it's the first time he hurt Tucker. Nothing you or Tucker did caused this at all" he stated making sure both kids knew they were not at fault.

Emery didn't believe what he was saying daddies didn't hurt their children, they protected them like her daddy had done. "Emmy, he is right, my dad liked to hurt me" Tucker whispered to the little girl. Lucas already knew as he had seen it first hand, but this was the first time that Paulo had seen it. Tristan suspected it was happening as he had seen the anger but didn't know to what extent. His wife who worked for the gang in intelligence was looking into it for him. "Why is your daddy like that? Does he use the white stuff like mummy did? When mummy had the white stuff she would hit me and then showed me how to make it disappear so daddy didn't see" Emery mumbled but every one heard her.
