Finding Emery

The next morning the Quake boys were sulking. Emery had begged for them to let Tucker, Paulo and Lucas stay the night and even broke down in tears when they said no. She then refused to talk to any of her family until finally they agreed that her friends could stay the night. Tucker, Paulo and Lucas had spent the night in Emery's bed with her and this pissed the Quake's off.

Kody had snapped a photo of Emery laying on Tucker's chest with Paulo and Lucas either side of Tucker and Emery, both with a hand on Emery's back. Bentley and Kody thought it was the cutest thing ever but the Quake's were not happy. Uncle Mike had immediately gone to wake the four of them up and seperate them all.

Uncle Mike walked into the kitchen pouting like a child. Jasper and Seb couldn't help but laugh at his face. Who thought that a big gang leader would pout. "She kicked me out" uncle Mike whined. He went to pick Emery up after he woke the kids so he could snuggle with her and bring her down to breakfast and she had kicked him out because he tried to take her away from Tucker. "Why?" Taz asked. "She wanted to snuggle with that little shit instead of me" uncle Mike huffed out. He was annoyed because his favourite thing was to snuggle with Emery of a morning. She was a true Quake and hated mornings so snuggled with whoever got her out of bed and this morning she refused to snuggle because she wanted to be with Tucker.

Tucker walked into the kitchen carrying Emery who had her face buried into his neck. She was still sleepy but they had to get ready for school. "Emmy let's have some breakfast and then get ready for school" Tucker cooed at the small girl. He liked carrying her around like this but he could see none of the Quake's did. "Princess, I'm coming to do reading groups today in your class" uncle Mike stated hoping she would be excited but she seemed to be back asleep. "Let me hold my sister, she is to heavy for you" Taz bit out wanting Emery away from Tucker.

Emery whined but didn't protest to much when she was wrapped in Taz's arms. She didn't want to go to school today at all. The two days she had been had been trouble for her and she didn't want another troubled day. "Baby, uncle Mike is going to school with you today so there will be no trouble. He is just going to do some reading with your class" Taz stated after Emery had once again spoken her thoughts. The Quake's had all argued that they should all be able to come but after contacting the principal of the school, it was lucky that Michael was able to go seeing they should of signed up at the beginning of the year.

Emery was barely awake which caused Tucker, Paulo and Lucas to laugh at her. "You are so cute when you are sleepy Emmy, just like a baby" Tucker stated. Emery blushed bright red and snuggled closer to her brother. She was embarrassed that Tucker said she looked like a baby. "She is my baby" Seb sang out and then turned his glare to Tucker as a warning. "I'm Tucker's baby" Emery mumbled without meaning too. Tucker had said it first this morning so that meant that Emery was his baby today. "Ah come here baby" Tucker said opening his arms for Emery who tried to go to Tucker. Taz held his sister not liking the fact that Emery said she was Tucker's.

"Tazzy let me hug Tucker" Emery whined when Taz wouldn't let her go. "No, your not his anything Emmy" Taz grumble out. "She is my friend and my baby" Tucker complained. He wanted to hold Emery because he liked how she fit into his arms. He liked to protect her as well. "They are just kids" Bentley stated seeing how both kids were getting upset. "Tazzy, I'm not talking to you" Emery cried when Taz still wouldn't let her go. Taz reluctantly let Emery go and she raced into Tucker's arms wiping her nose on his pj top. Tucker patted her back and kissed her head glaring at Tucker.

"You know she is sensitive in the morning, why do you upset her? Now you pushed her into his arms" Chase chastised his brother. He didn't want to see his sister in Tucker's arms but he also didn't like seeing his sister sad. "Emmy, I made a strawberry smoothie Hunny" Jasper said sliding smoothies over to Emery and her friends. He wasn't happy but he too didn't like Emery being sad.

When the kids were finished their breakfast, uncle Mike sent them upstairs to get ready for school. He also sent Chase up to help get Emery ready as he needed to help her with her hair. "I like your hair in curls" Tucker told Emery. "Chasey can you do curls today?" Emery asked wanting to please Tucker. "Your hair is always in curls baby, I can put it in a pony tail to keep the curls out of your eyes if you like?" Chase asked causing Emery to nod her head. She wanted to be able to see after all.

Emery skipped downstairs when she was ready to wait for her friends. Uncle Mike was already downstairs waiting as he was taking the kids to school so he could stay for reading groups that were first thing this morning. "You look very pretty Emmy" Tucker said as Emery skipped down the stairs. Emery blushed bright red and looked anywhere but at Tucker.

Tristan knocked on the door ready to take the boys to school. "Hi boss, I am here to take the kids to school" Tristan said when Michael opened the door. "I'm taking Emery and staying for reading with Emery's group" Michael grumbled. Tristan nodded and gestured to the boys to come along but Tucker wouldn't budge. "I'm staying with Emery" Tucker told Tristan. "Please Uncle Mikey?" Emery beg when Michael went to decline. "Sure princess if I get a hug" Uncle Mike smiled down at her. Emery rushed forward and threw her arms around uncle Mike who scooped up the little girl holding her to his chest. The smug look on Michael's face screamed 'I won' when he looked at Tucker.
