Finding Emery

Emery was shocked when she saw her uncle tipping the milkshake on the guys head. She tried to stop herself laughing, but when the guy slipped in the milkshake, she couldn't help but burst out laughing. Uncle Mike smiled at Emery winking at her to. If she wasn't there he would of used force but he didn't want to scare his niece one bit.

The boys were shocked to see what was happening. The manager came running over after seeing Michael dump the milkshake on the man's head. "What's going on?" The manager asked. "Oh this man thinks that the boys throwing food at my niece is just playing. So I was just playing to" Uncle Mike said shrugging his shoulders.

When the manager saw it was Michael he immediately feared what would happen. "Umm you and the kids need to leave" the manager rushed out to the man with the party. "I paid for my son to have his party and that's what he will do" the man yelled trying to stand up in the milkshake. Unfortunately for him he kept falling which caused Emery to burst out laughing each and every time.

Emery wanted to play to, seeing how funny it was when the man couldn't get up. Emery picked up the smoothie that Kody had been drinking and took the lid off. She headed over to the boy who had started with throwing food at her and emptied the drink over his head before doubling over laughing at the boys shocked expression.

Jasper, Taz, Chase and Seb couldn't help but burst out laughing at Emery because she hadn't realised that what they were doing wasn't playing. The boy glared at Emery causing her to "say I'm playing to. This is fun" Kody stepped in front of Emery when the boy went to lunge at Emery acting as a shield. But with the drink on the ground the boy fell on his face.

"Your daughter just dumped her milkshake over my sons head. I want them kicked out" the guy fumed. He was now standing after the manager had helped him up. "But I was only playing" Emery stated again. She really didn't understand at all. The boys had thrown food at her and said they were just playing and when she had seen uncle Mike do it she wanted to join in. "Yes you yourself said that the boys were only playing. She joined in, toughen your boys up or I will" Uncle Mike seethed. "It's wasn't a milkshake it was a smoothie" Emery clarified causing the man to turn red. Emery was oblivious to everything else going on.

Everyone but Emery could hear the clear threat in uncle Mike's words. The guy paled and quickly got himself and the boys out of there. The manager offered them more drinks and quickly got someone to clean the mess off the lanes. Emery didn't want to bowl anymore though, because even with the boys only playing, the words had hurt her.

Everyone handed the shoes back in and Emery was still replaying the words the boys had said to her. "Hey princess Emery, you are not a baby. You are so smart and brave. Do you want to play some of those games with me?" Kody asked seeing Emery was still a little upset. Emery liked the bright colours of the games and the sounds but she had never played before and didn't want to be seen as stupid so she shrugged her shoulders. "How about you and I play together?" Taz asked seeing his sister was still a little unsure. Emery didn't want to disappoint anyone so nodded her head.

Taz sat Emery on his lap while they played a driving game. Emery held onto Taz's hand on the steering wheel as he worked the pedals because she was to short. She was squealing with excitement as they took the turns and were beating the other players. "Faster Tazzy" Emery squealed when she saw the person right behind them. When they crossed the line first Emery threw her hands in the air and began to yell "I win you lose. I'm the best" Taz smiled at his sister loving the fact her had brought her smile back.

Jasper snatched Emery up quickly wanting to also have fun with his baby cousin. He took Emery over to the bikes, "let's ride" Jasper said before putting Emery in front of him on the bike. "I don't know how to ride Jazzy" Emery stated seriously. She hadn't rode a bike or motor bike ever. "Jazzy?" Jasper asked. No one had ever given him a Nick name before. Emery nodded her head "don't you like it?" She asked while she allowed tears to fill her eyes. "No no I love it" Jasper rushed out once he saw how upset Emery was when he questioned her.

Emery smiled big at Jasper before he explained that she would have to lean to make the bike move. "Jazzy, I don't want to go on the ride" Emery squealed once the numbers began to count down on the screen. She didn't realise that it was on the screen. "It's just a game baby, and I'm here. I will hold you" Jasper assured Emery trying not to laugh at how wrong she had got it.

Neither of them had seen Uncle Mike on the bike next to them until there was three seconds left before the game started. "I'm going to beat you" Uncle Mike teased causing Emery to turn to the side and glare at him. "Jazzy kick his butt" Emery yelled out as they took off. She had heard her daddy say that to some of the bad men when they were after them but didn't really know what it meant.

As the game went on uncle Mike and Jasper were constantly fighting for first place. "Come on Jazzy we have to win" Emery cried out when uncle Mike was close. They were on the final lap and both Jasper and uncle Mike didn't want to lose at all. Emery was getting excited because the race was nearly over. "Come on old man give it up" Jasper teased. "Yeh old man let us win" Emery mocked causing all the Quake's to laugh at her. As Jasper and Emery crossed the line first Emery stood on the bike and cheered loudly. Uncle Mike couldn't help but smile at how happy his niece was. He would do anything to keep that smile permanently on her face.
