Finding Emery

Emery was smirking at Jasper because he looked horrified. Uncle Mike was smiling at Emery "Emery you mean girls have a vagina" he corrected. "Yep that's what I said, girls have a magina" Emery stated nodding her head. "Can we not?" Taz asked horrified that his sister was talking about penis's and vagina's. "Why? Daddy says every one has a penis or magina and some people have both" Emery told them all. "That's right, boys have a penis and girls have a vagina" Seb stated wanting to wrap up the conversation and move on to something else.

Emery shook her head no. "My friend Joe said they had a penis but some days Joe wanted to be a she and some days a he and some days a cat. And that's ok, he has two mummies and a brother and his mummies said that Joe wasn't a girl or boy and could decide later" Emery rambled on. Uncle Mike just nodded enjoying the rambling of the little girl.

"Ok missy, you need to eat some of your food, which is probably cold now, so you can have a bath and then we can go shopping" Seb stated. Emery groaned she hoped by talking they would forget about the omelette and the shopping trip. "None of that thank you" Chase stated bopping his sister on the nose. "Come on baby just 10 bites" uncle Mike encouraged. Emery just nodded her head and started to eat. Surprisingly, she did like the omelette with the bacon and ate about a quarter of it which was more then 10 bites and she was very full.

"Ok I'm done" Emery stated and rubbed her tummy while swinging her legs back and forth. "Right, I'll take you up and help you wash your hair ok?" Chase asked his sister. "I'm a big girl Chasey, I don't need you seeing my magina and me having babies. That's mister Kody's job" Emery stated causing uncle Mike to spit his coffee out all over Jasper. Emery burst out laughing at Jasper while Kody was bright red in embarrassment. Taz and Chase looked horrified and Seb looked like he wanted to torture Kody for years. Jasper clutched his knife in his left hand with his nostrils flaring but with coffee dripping down his face, he looked ridiculous.

"Emery, Kody will not be bathing you and you are way to young to be talking about having babies with him" uncle Mike stated while glaring at Kody. Kody nodded in agreement, "I agree with the boss" Kody rushed out scared for his life. "You will wait for me though right mister Kody? You can't marry anyone else" Emery stated with her bottom lip quivering. "He will" Jasper grunted out not wanting to upset Emmy at all. Kody just nodded his head seeing the look on all the Quake's faces.

Chase took his sister up to the bath and to help her wash her hair while the rest of the Quake's sat glaring at Kody who knew he would be in trouble now Emery wasn't here to protect him. "I'm gay" Kody rushed out when Jasper stood up. Jasper nodded his head in relief before he went up to shower seeing he was covered in his father's coffee. Taz, Seb and uncle Mike seemed to relax when they heard Kody say he was gay. They knew it was stupid to think she would actually marry Kody, but they were far from rational when it came to thinking about Emery marrying anyone.

"Don't tell Emery you are gay, she will be devastated" Taz finally said after they all sat in awkward silence while they waited for her to finish getting ready for her shopping trip. Kody nodded his head in understanding, the last thing he wanted to do was to hurt Emery at all. He genuinely cared for the kid.

"You will be her personal guard" Michael stated. "You will take her to and from school, if she needs to go somewhere you will go to and you will have a room on our floor to protect her" Michael barked out. "Yes boss, I'll protect her as if she were my own" Kody replied. "I'm trusting you, don't let me down" Michael stated before exiting the room to check on his niece.

Jasper headed down just as Michael was walking up the stairs. "I think I'll take Emery shopping" Michael told his son. This shocked Jasper as his father never took time off work for anything. Jasper nodded before adding "maybe we should all go" he stated cautiously. Michael nodded his head "then we could get lunch and maybe go bowling with Emmy" Michael added. "Dad are you feeling alright?" Jasper asked. Michael glared at his son "go tell the others" he gritted out before stomping up the stairs with Jasper laughing at his father.

Michael headed to the bathroom to see Emmy glaring at Chase. "What's going on?" Michael asked. "He put water on my face" Emery squealed at the same time Chase said "she threw water at me". Both then screamed "you started it" and then huffed. Michael laughed at the both of them, they truely were fighting like siblings no matter the age gap between them. "Ok Chase you are a grown man, don't fight with your sister" uncle Mike stated causing Emery to poke her tongue out at her brother.

"Emery, don't give your brother a hard time. And you shouldn't be throwing water on the floor. Has Chase finished washing your hair princess?" Uncle Mike asked. Emery nodded her head yes. "Ok then let's get you out of the bath so we can go shopping and then we are going bowling" Uncle Mike stated. "What's bowling?" Emery asked. "Well it's a game where you roll the ball down the lane and try to knock the pins over" Uncle Mike explained while helping Emmy out of the bath.

Once Emery was dried and dressed, Chase helped her with her curls. Emery couldn't take her eyes off the mirror seeing them all bouncy for the first time since her daddy had helped her before they ran. "Is pretty" she whispered to herself touching the curls causing Chase to smile at his baby sister. "That you are Emmy" Chase stated before they both headed downstairs where everyone was waiting for them.
