Chapter 60

I barely slept the night after that awkward encounter with Mara and Aston. I mean how could I? When I had barely been able to escape a beat down. I never thought that I would one day be in this kind of situation. Sneaking around with a man that was not mine. I had become a disgrace to myself. A very bigone. At this moment, I was no better than Aston and that hurt me a lot

How could I reduce myself to so little? is nothing but a sore fling to be f**d when the main thing was not home.

Shame crawler under my skin and died there when Mara had called me out for sleeping with her man. I remembered the way I was begging her not tell Aston. And the way she looked at jje. I looked back at everything and the most embarrassing part was when Aston had lied too.

When he affirmed my lie about the book. If he hadn’t then I would have been certain that he did not care about what any one of us thinks but he had lied and it was more than clear whose opinions he cared about. They were definitely not mine. He cared about what Mara would think but he just needed me to get the Hell out of his room.

I saw the way he looked at me like I was poison, it was the same look he had on the last time we had sex too. He had taken his shower because he looked and smelled clean and I was guessing it was because he needed to get my smell off himself. It was like waking up in a pool of your own vomit. There was no way he would be happy to sit in it. He would curse himself for drinking so much. He probably cursed himself for having sex with me too, maybe even much more than I cursed myself.

What made me loose sleep even more where the memories of last night and how if he broke down my already locked door and walked in, I would still have sex with him without putting up a fight.

needed to get a grip on myself but how could I?! When he was to good with his hands, his tongue, his eyes, it was like every part of his body was made to please as much as it was made to kill.

The way Aston had touched me, the way he hall possessed me, it was a memory that refused to fade. It felt like it was imprinted on my brain in the same way that it was imprisoned on my body. My ***a*was still red from the beating and the mere sight of it in the mirror turned me on. My breasts still felt like his hands were on them and my p***y was sore as hell!! Every part of my body ached like there was no tomorrow. He bent up, down, to the side, he put me in seventy positions in seven minutes, figuring out new ways to make me scream by the second.

When he went down on me, I thought he was going to just lick me clean like last time but he ate me like he didn’t want to have any regrets. He ate me out, burying his face and his tongue deeper and deeper while rubbing my cl**is at the speed of light

I was squirting all over his face in no time and with a satisfied grin on his face, he went back to eating me out again while his hands fondled my breasts like they were nothing but plush toys.

I knew it was dangerous, that I should be focusing on finding a way out of this place, and not finding a way to make Aston scream louder than I did when he buried his**k inside me balls deep and without warning, but my body ached for him, yearning for his touch in all my sensitive arcas.

The next day, I heard a knock on my door, and my heart fluttered with hope or fear, I didn’t know which it was. I had purposely kept myself locked up without coming out for anything or any reason at all so I wouldn’t cross paths with Aston and I was grateful for his cooperation.

I was grateful that he didn’t send me in any errands whatsoever, I wasn’t even the one to serve him breakfast but why did t still hope to see the man that I was purposely avoiding?

The knock came again and I began to wonder. “Was it Aston, coming to apologize, to beg me to meet him in secret?” It was a foolish thought so quickly shook my head.

When I opened the door, I was met with disappointment. It was not Aston, but Mara’s maid, a stoic, expressionless woman who seemed to regard me with a mixture of pity and contempt. I tried hard not to roll my eyes as she spoke.

“Mara requests your presence in the dining room,” she said, her voice flat and emotionless. I felt like telling her to get the hell out since she seas mm the one I was hoping to see but I didn’t have any right to get under Mara’s skin anymore.

I followed her through the mansion, my mind racing with questions and concerns. Why was Mara summoning me? What did she want? It was my life now. Cuili.

The dining room was empty save for Mara, who sat at the table with a smug Inok on her face. She motioned for me to approach, her eyes gleaming with an unknown purpose that put me at intense unease.

“Kita,” she purred, her voice dripping with false sweetness. “I’m glad you could join me.”

I stood before her, my hands clasped in front of me as I forced myself to maintain my composure.

“What can I do for you. Mara?” I asked, keeping my voice steady

“You can assist me with a little project,” she replied, a smile playing across her lips. “I’m planning a surprise for Aston, and I need your help.”

I suppressed a shiver of apprehension, my mind immediately jumping to a thousand possibilities, none of them good.

“A surprise?” I asked, trying to keep my tone light. “What kind of surprise?”

Mara leaned back in her chair, her eyes gleaming with an unsettling light.

“A romantic surprise,” she said, the smile spreading into a wide grin.

I swallowed hard, fighting back the bile that rose in my throat. A romantic surprise? That could only mean one thing – Mara was planning some sort of intimate event for Aston, and she wanted me to help her but why the hell would she want thats Did she not suspect me anymore or was she doing this because she suspected me? I didn’t know which it was because her face wasn’t exactly letting out much.

“What do you need me to do?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Mara’s eyes narrowed, her smile fading slightly as she studied me.

“I need

you to pack a basket with wine, cheese, and some blankets,” she said, her tone turning brisk and authoritative. “And then I need you to accompany us to the lake.”

My heart skipped a beat at the mention of the lake. It was a secluded spot, far from the prying eyes of the household staff, and the perfect place for an intimate rendezvous but again, why the hell was involved?

“Mara,” I said, my voice shaking slightly. “Why do you want me to accompany you? I thought I was only supposed to serve Aston?”

Mara’s smile returned, her eyes narrowing to dangerous slits.

“You’re correct, Kira,” she said. “But I want you to come with us, to clean up through gritted teeth not leaving any room for arguments.

and assist with anything we may

need. She said

1 swallowed hard, my body trembling with both fear and anger. Mara’s request was absurd, bordering on cruel. But what could I do? She held all the power in this situation, and I was nothing more than a pawn in her sick twisted game.

“As you wish, Mara,” I said, bowing my head in submission. “I will prepare the basket.”,

Mara nodded, her expression satisfied. “Good. You will meet us by the car in an hour.”

Without another word, she turned and left the room, leaving me alone to stew in my own dread and confusion. If she was playing some sort of mind game with me then she was already winning.

I moved quickly through the halls of the mansion, gathering the items Mara had requested. As I packed the basket, my mind raced with questions and fears. “Why was Mara doing this? Was he trying to make me jealous, to drive a wedge between me and Aston? Or seas she simply trying to humiliate me, to remind me of my place in the household?”

Neither of those options would be good for me

Whatever her motives were, I knew that I couldn’t let them show I had to keep up appearances, to act as though nothing was wrong, even as my heart felt like it was being slowly torn apart.
