Chief Doctor, Please Stop

Chapter 16 I Want to Get My Belonging back

"Okay, you head out. Don't worry, Yann is very good. I will call the nurse as soon as there’s something up." Yannis behaves very
well because he knows that the earring is important to mommy.
"Be good..." Nino pecks a kiss on Yann’s forehead. "Sorry, Mommy will come back as soon as possible."
"Go, go." Yann steals a kiss from mommy’s gorgeous lips.
As soon as Nino gets out of the hospital, she heads straight to the restaurant she was at for dinner.
Fortunately, when she rushes over, it isn’t closed yet.
"Have you ever seen a diamond earring left in your restaurant?" Nino asks the waiter at reception.
"Miss, is it big like this? Blue, the colour like the ocean, right?" The waiter gestures at Nino.
"Yes, yes, yes!" Nino is overjoyed. "That’s it, that’s it. Can you give it back to me? It's very important to me."
"But..." The waiter is a little troubled. "I gave your earring to the gentleman who was together with you this afternoon. Didn't he
contact you?"
Nino is taken aback for a moment, and her expression is a little strange. "I see..."
"Then...then it’s fine. Thank you."
Nino comes out of the restaurant, still in a trance, and debates whether or not to call Yasin.
Why is he the one who took the earring? What shall she do then! Nino scratches her head out of annoyance.
As she walks, she still wonders whether to take the initiative to contact him. But when she looks up, she realizes that she is
already at the lobby of his apartment without knowing it.
Nino takes out her phone, presses the number keys one by one, until she reaches the eleventh one. Just as she is ready to dial
out, she deletes them one by one, and then starts again and deletes them again.
"I’m going to go crazy!!"
Nino stomps out of depression.

She is debating if she should give up this obsession and this earring when suddenly, the phone in her hand rings.
The call turns out to be from Yasin.
Nino is shocked, and hurriedly takes a few breaths before answering the call.
"What are you doing downstairs?"
Yasin straight up asks her.
Nino is surprised and subconsciously looks up. As expected, she sees a figure standing beside the French window on the
second floor.
Even if she cannot see his facial features, she can feel a tight gaze staring straight at her.
"I...I want to find you to get my belonging back."
As Nino speaks, she actually feels a little guilty.
"What?" Yasin asks indifferently, his voice unwavering.
Nino takes a deep breath. "My earring."
"Which?"
In the phone, his voice seems even more indifferent.
Nino knows that he is pretending to be dumb.
"It's the one the waiter gave you."
"Are you talking about the one I gave you in the past?" Yasin's magnetic voice becomes a little low, but Nino still cannot hear any
emotion.
"..."
Nino is silent.
Indeed, he gave that earring to her, and it is his first gift to her.

Nino doesn’t know why she values this gift so much. She thinks, maybe it’s just because it has been with her for so many years,
probably just the type of obsession where she is unwilling to part with it.
"Mimosa took it away." Suddenly, he says.
Nino is surprised for a moment, but inexplicably, she becomes a little angry.
"How can you do this? That is mine!!"
How can he give it to someone else so easily? Did he ask for her opinion? After the first time Yasin gave this earring to her, she
is already the owner of it!
He has no right to give her belonging to someone else!
"I gave it to you." Yasin corrects her.
Nino raises an eyebrow and argues with him. "Mr. Jing, since you said you gave it to me, you should know very clearly that I am
the owner of that earring. So why did you give my belonging to someone else? Don’t you think it’s very rude?"
"Nino, as a married woman, do you think being so attached to this earring is good character?" Yasin sneers without backing
down.
Faced with his sarcastic questioning, Nino doesn’t know how to answer for a while.
"How much money can that thing be worth, do you have to care about it so much?" Yasin asks again, his tone of voice sounding
a lot calmer.
For a while, the air seems to be filled with an indescribable sense of loneliness, bit by bit swallowing Nino’s heart.
She is silent for a long time before finally speaking. "It's not a question of money."
Yes, this earring may be worthless to him.
When he gave her it to her, he told her that it is a rhinestone picked from the Swarovski counter. It is very small, so it isn’t worth a
lot of money, only two hundred.

"It’s because it’s been in my ear holes for six years, and now it’s like a part of me nourished from my body. If it was suddenly
removed, not only will I feel uncomfortable, but I also won’t be able to get used to not having it and I will be very sad..."
Nino lowers her head and holds her phone, quietly finishing her words in a hoarse voice.
