Chapter 1148 Bart and Haiden Eight (4)
After Jard finished speaking, he glanced at Eric and said, "Hurry up and clean yourself up."
"Alright." Eric hurried to the bathroom.
At the same time, Haiden got up from his seat and said that he wanted to go back. The man with oily hair said, "What are you going back for?"
The others advised, "Yeah, just stay here for a while."
Because Haiden was the poorest among them, they were very happy to show off their current achievements in front of Haiden. Even if they were just supervisors in a department, they had to show off in front o Haiden.
"Have you heard of the Alberton family?" The man with oily hair pulled Haiden and asked, "Hey, it seems to be in your city?"
Haiden nodded.
"Then you must know." When the man with oily hair said this, everyone was interested in it. They asked, "How much does the Alberton family have?"
Haiden smiled but remained silent.
The others immediately laughed, "Why are you asking Haiden? How could he know?"
Everyone laughed.
The man with oily hair asked Haiden, "How much do you earn each month now? Do you want to jump over to my company? By the way, what's your position?"
"Do everything," Haiden had never received a salary before, so he frowned, "My salary..."
The man with oily hair thought that Haiden's salary was so low that Haiden was a little embarrassed and did not want to say it out. So he patted Haiden on the shoulder, "Alright, it's fine. Everyone's salary was very low in the beginning. Take it easy. It will be higher in the future."
Haiden sipped his tea. "... OK."
Haiden took the excuse of going to the bathroom and successfully went out. Before he entered the elevator, he was seen by Gerry from a distance.
"Mr. Haiden." Gerry had only met Haiden at the annual meeting. He had met Haiden four times. He had a deep impression of Haiden. Because Haiden's footsteps were very light.
Haiden turned around and greeted Gerry. Then he saw that there were several salespeople from the jewelry shops behind him.
"I don't know what your girlfriend likes. So we took some of each." Gerry laughed.
Haiden was speechless. He looked at a tray that the guide was holding in her hands. The tray was covered with a layer of red cloth. Thinking of the word "girlfriend" and Valery who was in the room. Haiden could not help but frown.
Haiden opened the red cloth and took a look. All the necklaces were gorgeous. Haiden did not pick anything he liked. So he said, "I want a simple one."
"Yes, then I'll tell them to get some." Gerry quickly waved his hand at the guides.
"No, tomorrow will be fine too," Haiden said and entered the elevator.
Gerry called the guides out and met Eric and his father halfway.
"Hey, Mr. Gerry, have you sent the necklaces?" Jard hurriedly asked.
"They were too gorgeous. Haiden didn't like them. I'm going to go back and change them." Gerry said to Jard and hurriedly left. "Wait a minute, Mr. Gerry. Our company has been doing export businesses recently. Is your boss interested in it?" Jard asked.
Gerry stopped, "Our boss has a good temper. I can introduce you to him. But I can't guarantee that he will cooperate with you."
"Mr. Gerry, thank you very much." Jard and Gerry spoke a few more words. When Gerry returned and changed into some simple necklaces, Jard took Eric to follow behind Gerry and take the elevator. When they reached the room, Gerry knocked on the door first.
"Mr. Haiden, look, I'm a bit impatient. I picked a few simple ones and sent them to you."
"OK," Haiden said, "Come in."
Eric had been standing at the very end. When he walked in, he felt that he was familiar with the man inside.
Haiden was walking inside when he said to Valery, who was on the bed, "The necklaces are here. Do you want me to pick it for you?"
Valery lay on the bed and covered her face with the blanket, "You pick it."
Haiden chuckled and turned to remove the red cloth.
After looking through more than a dozen necklaces, Haiden did not like anything. Gerry was nervous until Haiden walked to the last tray. There was the simplest chain lying there, only the end of which was tied with rain-like oval beads. The bead was delicate, smaller than a fingernail.
"This one." Haiden pointed to the tray.
Gerry immediately breathed a sigh of relief, "Okay." He turned around and remembered that there were still two people standing behind him. He quickly rushed to Haiden and said, "Mr. Haiden, these two are the chairman and general manager of the Stanley Corporation. They are doing export business, too. They want to cooperate with you in the future."
Haiden turned his head and saw Eric.
Jard smiled, "Hello, Mr. Haiden. This is my business card."
Jard poked Eric's arm and found that Eric was stunned. So Jard hit Eric hard, and Eric was directly knocked to the ground.
"He... is nervous." Jard smiled awkwardly and reached out to pull Eric up.
Haiden smiled, "Nothing."
Eric stared at Haiden in astonishment. "Mr... Mr. Haiden?"
Eric looked at Gerry in disbelief and asked, "Wasn't he from the Alberton family? How could his surname be Cox?"
Gerry was speechless. He did not expect Eric to be so stupid.
"My grandfather's surname is Alberton." Haiden didn't mind it and explained.
"Deon is your grandfather?" Eric stuttered.
"Yes." Haiden looked at Eric calmly.
Eric crumpled to the floor.
