[Ra'ne's POV]

I was resting in our bed after having just breastfed my pups again. I was feeling drained again. I had no idea how much those two were going to take out of me. I swear they were going to be the death of me eventually.

I loved them both though. Caden and Berion were both showing that they had their own personalities. Even after only a single day of being in the world.

Kin would not allow me to leave the bed and I was to be guarded at all times with the window to be shut and locked at all times. He was not going to allow my vision to come true.

However, I could feel the evil coming. It was like I could smell Grissa. I was not going to lie. I was fucking terrified as hell.

Grissa was a monster of the worst kind. When Skie was away from me he was digging for his own past and in that way he found his own answers by finding mine. He found out what had happened to my family.

I had seen the look in Grissa's eyes as he had murdered my family and it was one of pure rage and hatred. One of sadness and pain. He had been driven that far, to a point of madness. Something had happened to him for him to have been pushed so far to not only murder an entire city but children without mercy.

He had long been gone from the world of rational thinking and something drastic had just pushed him over the proverbial edge of sanity.

I was sitting in the middle of my massive bed thinking of these worldly things, my bedroom fully locked down with three Shadow Guards posted in the room when suddenly the far wall was blasted open.

I froze in place as my Guards appeared and Talon was at my side instantly. "Please don't panic Luna. We will protect you." he said seriously as he pulled a long sword from a hidden sheath on his back, the blade deadly sharp.

Three very broken looking Rouges showed up in the smoking hole, stepping through, wicked smiles on their haggard faces as they came closer to us. They looked horrible, all their faces were sunken in and boney. They looked just shy of this side of death and it was not something I was really in the need to see right now.

I could sense Kin racing for me and I knew he would get to me before anything could happen. That is until another form came through the shadows.

Grissa. Sitari.

They had both come for me. I was dead and I had not seen this coming. My Mate was not going to be able to save me and these Shadows were not going to stand a chance against these two. They were something I had never seen before and I had no idea how they were able to fight the way they were able to. It was like they moved without moving.

'Let me take over the Human die Ra'ne.' came Skie's soft voice. it was a plea and he was scared as hell and he was shaking with fear but he was going to fight them.

'Are you sure you can handle this alone Skie?' I asked wondering if he would be ok.

'I'm never alone little bit. I will always have you by my side.' Skie said getting me to smile a little slyly. He was more than right. I would always be right there for him.

'All right. You make sure to be careful ok. Julius would be more than pissed with you if you weren't.' I said getting an eye roll as I let him take full control of my body and let myself fade into the back of our consciousness. I did not want to see or know about anything that was about to happen unless Skie wanted me to. Then if he did he would let me know after I woke up after my little nap.

[Skie's POV]

This is not going to be in Italics but Skie's words will be. Everyone will be able to hear him speaking it will just be in a bit of an echoing type stereo sound.

I looked around me trying to make sure I was surrounded by my protectors and not my enemies. I saw the three Shadows close to me and smiled before moving to the edge of the bed. Talon looked at me like I was insane before noticing that my eyes were not the color of Ra'ne's.

"Skie?" Talon questioned in total shock his voice softer than a breath as he took a step back.

I smiled at him as I stood and stepped forward to stand next to him. "They want my power, how about I give them a taste of it Talon?" I asked him, my voice just as softly as he smiled at me and nodded.

I turned back to them and let my Royal Sentinel Powers come up surrounding my hands with a deep blue glow.

'You have beaten me and used me for your own evil purposes for too long. You will never have my real power!!' I shouted as I threw a bolt of fire directly at Grissa and Sitari.

Sitari screamed and dove out of the way only for the fire to split and follow after her. It caught onto her dress and quickly set the evil Luna ablaze as she burned in front of me.

Grissa, however, just stood there an evil look in his malicious eyes as the blue fires licked at his skin. "You cannot kill me little Wolf!!" he shouted before raising his arms and dousing my flame with a sweep of his hands.

I gasped in shock as I began another stronger assault. Grissa laughed just as Kin and Callum burst through the door with Solon right behind them, halfway into the Shadows already. They showed their shock at the scene before them.

Grissa was literally on fire and my hands were glowing with blue magic as I seethed and tried to kill the monster that killed every single one of my family.

Kin growled and Solon, disappeared. Callum and Kin moved together like they were one being as they flashed toward Grissa and me. Callum came to me and Kin went after Grissa, his intent was to kill.
