“Why? Why would you do this? She’s your sister!” Timothy screamed.

“My sister? Yes, she is. She’s a Garrison, a true–born Garrison. She’ll always overshadow me in every way! Even you love her–why!” Nelly shrieked back.

“Because of that? You wanted her dead?”

“That’s right! I envied her! I was jealous!”

“Nelly, you’re insane! You’re completely out of your mind!” Timothy roared.

Timothy’s voice turned icy. “You’re wrong. No matter how much I envy Lionel, I’d never harm him because I know–without him, Min still wouldn’t be mine.”

Nelly laughed maniacally. “Well said! That’s where we differ. I got rid of Mindy, and you became mine! Ha!

“So, I didn’t make a mistake back then. Mindy disappeared, you married me, and we had a child. We’ve spent over 20 years together–it was all worth it!”

Timothy froze, his body stiff with shock.

Nelly continued, her words cutting deep. “If I’m a cold–blooded killer, then you’re the prize in my hunt! My trophy! Eliminate the competition, and I win you.

“Of course, I fought with everything I had. Was wrong? So, in the end, it’s you who ruined Mindy’s life, Timothy Cooper!”

She laughed maniacally. “I had grown used to Mom and Dad’s favoritism. But you–your love for Mindy–sparked the jealousy buried in me. It left me no choice but to take my chances.”

Timothy’s fists clenched tightly as his face contorted in pain, regret, and self–loathing. There was a storm of emotions brewing within him.
