Way Back Into Love (Essie)

Chapter 839 Put Some Purgative

In the afternoon, Janice and her sister Janet came to visit. Seeing that Eva was resting in Jim's limo, Janice felt very uncomfortable.

Janet's eyes flashed with malice and coldness. She was here to teach Eva a lesson.

She took out a box of juice from her pocket and said, "It's for you, sister." She showed her trademark innocent smile.

"Thank you." Eva took it without hesitation.

After a while, Eva began to have diarrhea. Seeing her running to the bathroom again and again, Annabel was worried. "Sis Eva, are you eating something bad?"

"No, I just drank a box of juice..." Eva had already caught a cold, and she had run to the bathroom seven or eight times, so she was exhausted. As soon as she finished speaking, she fainted. Annabel called out.

Jim was filming on the set. When he heard the cry of Annabel, he immediately rushed over like a tornado.

"What happened?" Jim asked as he picked up Eva.

"After drinking that box of juice, sis Eva began to have diarrhea," Annabel said.

"Where did you buy the juice?" Jim frowned.

Annabel turned to look at Janet, who was standing next to Janice, and said, "She gave it to sis Eva."

Jim stared at Janet with a murderous look.

"We bought the juice in the supermarket," Janice explained immediately.

The ambulance arrived. Jim put Eva on the stretcher and got on the ambulance with her. At the same time, he asked Eve to take juice for testing. Seeing Eva's pale face, Jim was so worried that his dashing eyebrows twisted together in anxiety.

Janet and Janice also went to the hospital.

Janice saw the expression on Jim's face.

In the ward, the doctor was giving intravenous drip to Eva.

The test result showed that the juice contained purgatives.

"That's impossible. The juice Janet gave Eva is not opened. Is there a problem when we bought it?" Janice said in shock.

There was a needle sized hole in the opening of the juice box. The person who poisoned it should have injected the purgative into it with an injector.

"How unlucky we are! We happened to buy the poisoned juice. You should complain about the poor management of the supermarket," Janice said angrily.

Jim turned to Janet, "Do you have anything to say?"

Janet hid behind Janice and said, "Sister, brother Jim looks so horrible. I am scared."

"Jim, this is a question about the supermarket. Why do you ask Janet this?" Janice protected her sister.

"I happened to have something to talk to her, so she came." Jim's eyes flashed with a cold light. In the afternoon, Parker called. He had found out the person who slandered Eva in the post of the underground Internet bar.

"Brother Jim, I don't know what you are talking about. Why are you looking for me? Do you want to invite me to eat hot pot?" Janet tilted her head and looked innocent.

"First, you put slandered her in the underground Internet bar, and then put purgatives in the juice. Are you suffering from mental disease again?" Jim rushed over like a cheetah, pulled her out from behind Janice and strangled her neck.

"If you want to die, I will fulfill your wish!" After saying that, she asked Eve to handcuff her hands. "Throw her into the cage of cockroaches."

As soon as Janet heard the word 'roach', she cried out in horror, "Sister, help! Sister, help me!"

Janice rushed over and stood in front of Janet. "Jim, Janet is pregnant. You can't do this to her. What if she has a miscarriage because of fear? You haven't figured it out yet. Let me ask her what happened, okay?"

Jim took a deep breath. If it weren't for Janet's pregnancy, how could he just lock her in the cage with roach?

Janice held her sister's shoulder and said, "Janet, tell me, what happened? Did you post the posts to slander Eva online?"

"Sister, Eva is a bad woman. She seduces brother Jim all day long, and she wants to take brother Jim away from you. I just taught her a lesson," Janet muttered.

"What about the purgatives in the juice box? Did you put it in?" Janice trembled slightly.

"The purgatives are just for a punishment. She won't die," Janet said indifferently.

"Janet, how can you do this? Eva is your sister. How can you hurt her?" Janice said.

"She hurt you first. She knows you're back. You're brother Jim's girlfriend, and she keeps pestering brother Jim." Janet pouted.

"Janet Wang, who do you think you are? Do I need you to ask who I am contacting with?" Jim looked murderous.

Janice looked at her, trembling with fear. "Janet, Eva and brother Jim are just friends. It's not what you think. Admit your mistake and apologize to Jim."

"No, I didn't do anything wrong. It's Jim who did something wrong. He should apologize to you," Janet said like a spoiled child.

"Janet, you haven't taken medicine for a long time. You are insane again." Janice looked helpless.

"Sister, ask brother Jim to unlock the handcuffs for me. My hands hurt," Janet pouted and said.

Janice walked up to Jim and said, "It's my fault. I didn't take good care of Janet. I apologize to you on her behalf, okay?"

"I'm not the one you should apologize to." Jim's brown eyes narrowed slightly. His patience for Janet had exceeded his limit. "When Eva wakes up, I'll apologize to Eva," Janice said in a low voice.

"Take her away," said Jim, winking at Eve.

Eve nodded and grabbed Janet. At the same time, Parker grabbed Janice's arm to stop her.

"Let go of me, sister. Help," Janet cried loudly.

"Jim, please forgive Janet. She is a stupid girl. I will take good care of her in the future," Janice cried and pleaded.

"This time, we must teach her a lesson." Jim snorted, completely ignoring her pleading.

Eve took Janet away.

The natural prison that Jim had built for her was almost finished. She couldn't fly out even if she had wings.

"Jim, Janet is pregnant. Where are you taking her? What if she miscarries?" Janice cried.

"Don't worry. She will be fine. I just send her to where she should go," Jim said in a low voice.

Janice couldn't rest assured. When Eva woke up, she would plead with her. She was the victim. If she let it go, Jim would not punish Janet.

Annabel told Eva about what Janet did to her. "Sis Eva, stay away from that psycho from now on. No matter what she gives you, you can't take it."

"Sure enough, there is something wrong with her brain. She is still suspicious," Eva said angrily.

"Eva, I apologize to you on behalf of Janet. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Janet is pregnant and can't take medicine now. She must be insane again," Janice said and bowed to her, which made Eva feel embarrassed. "Janice, don't do this. It's not you who did it. Besides, I'm fine."

"But Jim was so angry that he locked Janet up. I don't know where he locked Janet up. Please ask Jim to release Janet, okay?" Janice said with tears in her eyes.

Eva was slightly shocked, "Is he locked her in a cage of cockroaches?"

"I don't know. After all, Janet is pregnant. What if she has a miscarriage?" Janice was worried.

"Where is scum Jim? I'll go find him." When Eva was about to go down, he saw Jim push the door open and come in.

"Why are you looking for me?" he asked.

"Scum Jim, where did you lock Janet up?" Eva asked hurriedly.

"The amusement park I built for her." Jim took out his phone and opened the video. Janet had been sent to that amusement park specially built for her by helicopter and imprisoned.

"Have you really built this place?" Eva touched her forehead, slightly sweating.

"This is the best place for Janet to go. She won't be lonely if she has something to eat and play." Jim shrugged his shoulders and said, "So, don't worry."

"But she is pregnant," Janice whispered.

"There is no blind angle monitoring during the whole process of the video. If she is in trouble, the medical team will be there at any time," Jim said.

"How long will you lock her up? What if Jade asks?" Eva frowned.

"Tell her that she is on a holiday and will be back in a week," Jim said slowly.

"So you want to lock her up for a week?" Eva asked in astonishment.

"If she dares to do it again next time, she will never be able to come out for the rest of her life. If Jade doesn't want to leave her, he can go in with her." There was a bit of coldness in Jim's tone. He didn't say it to Eva, but to Janice. He couldn't let a madwoman interfere in his life, even if she was Janice's sister.

Janice trembled slightly, and a chill spread from her spine. She found that Jim had really changed. In the past, he loved Janet very much and treated her as a little sister. But now, there was no warmth at all. He only treated her as a mental patient.

"Jim, didn't you always treat Janet as your little sister? Janet also likes you. You said no matter what she did, you would protect her and not let others hurt her," she asked painfully. "She is no longer a child. Even if she is sick, she must distinguish right from wrong and won't hurt others as she wishes," Jim said seriously.

"After she gives birth to the baby, I will let her take the medicine. As long as she takes the medicine, she will have a normal judgment and won't act recklessly again," Janice said. "Why don't we just let her stay in there to nourish the fetus until the baby is born, so that she won't think too much? Thinking too much is not good for the baby," Jim said slowly.
