Trapped I can't escape from the Billionaire

Chapter 232

Letta furrowed her brow as she didn't recognize the place she was currently in. It was like a vast grassland, with some trees and unfamiliar-looking flowers. However hard Letta tried to remember, she had never been to a place like this before. Suddenly, as Letta was about to take a step, a shadow became clearer in front of her, causing Letta to fall silent. Letta saw a woman who was now facing away from her.

"Don't take pictures of me like that, your camera might get damaged," she said cheerfully, making Letta furrow her brow because, of course, Letta recognized that voice. It was like her own voice. Then, Letta turned to another direction upon hearing the response from the woman. A man who was aiming his camera made Letta think again. Of course, Letta remembered clearly, it was the man she had met who claimed to be called Abian. So, what were they doing in front of her? Letta wanted to walk closer when the woman turned around and looked at Abian, making Letta widen her eyes. Her guess was right, it was her own figure, but it looked very unfamiliar to Letta. She seemed fuller and very happy. So, what was she currently experiencing? Was this a dream or was she inside her own memory, Letta thought, now just silent watching the interaction between herself and Abian.

"Look at these photos, I'll make them into a short film and we'll play it on our wedding day," Abian said again, making Letta smile widely, while the woman watching her just widened her eyes. That meant Abian and she were a couple, Letta thought.

"Can you really make it?" Letta asked.

"Of course, it's not a difficult thing for me," Abian said again.

"Yes, just don't put my photos with all your wild animal collections from Africa," Letta said, smiling, making Letta argue happily.

"Of course not. How could I? But I'll include one photo in the short film later," Abian said.

"What photo is that?" Letta asked.

"You know the photo that I showed when I came back from Africa, a photo of a flower that I showed you, and I said it looked like you. I think it will be a sweet opening photo," Abian said, making Letta smile, until that memory faded and was replaced by other memories that appeared one by one in Letta's dream.

Letta now looked around, it was very dark. If earlier Letta thought she was in a park, this time she didn't know if this place was a house, an apartment, or whatever it was. However, the light made Letta slightly uncomfortable. In front of her, Letta saw herself crying softly. Not only that, Abian's figure was still there, but with a disappointed face.

"I can't continue this relationship, I want us to end it," Letta said, still displaying a face that didn't believe in her decision. Is this the moment I broke up with that man, Letta thought, continuing to observe, how disappointed he was, how shattered Abian was when Letta ended their relationship. Letta started to think, maybe because she wanted to marry Marco, that's why she left Abian, Letta thought.

Letta didn't understand all the pieces of memories she was seeing now. That memory changed with other small memories about Abian. Perhaps slowly all those memories were truly coming to her, and then those memories changed. Letta felt like she was in a crowd. Letta saw herself crying and looking at Abian, who was slowly walking away.

"Please, don't go. Don't leave me again. I have no one else to rely on here but you," Letta said, making Abian just smile at her.

"There is no other way. I will be back soon and we will get married in a few months. So, I hope you will wait for me," Abian said, making Letta shake her head. Letta also didn't know what kind of memory was currently in front of her. Perhaps this was when Bian left to do his work or whatever it was. However, Letta could see the sadness etched on her face as she let Abian go. It meant she truly had strong feelings for that man.

Until finally Abian truly walked away, making Letta scream for him not to leave her. Until finally, a jolt on her shoulder made Letta open her eyes and scream not to leave, just like she did in her dream. Letta could feel her racing breath, with sweat dampening her face. Until a deep voice whispered softly next to her.

"Darling, are you okay?" Marco asked, making Letta turn to look at Marco, who was looking at her with a worried expression.

"Why did you have a bad dream again?" Marco asked, making Letta just nod weakly.

"Yes, didn't the psychiatrist also say that I would have more frequent nightmares in the future?" Letta replied, still unsure of Marco's presence beside her. Why was she dreaming about memories of her time with Abian now, and could it slowly come back, Letta thought, starting to look at her husband, who was looking at Marco with great concern.

Letta could clearly see the emotions that Marco conveyed. Then, how could she hurt a man as good as Abian because his gaze wasn't much different from the one Marco was giving now. What exactly was the mistake she had made to both of them, Letta thought, finally choosing to try to normalize her breathing. Until finally, Marco took a glass of water and handed it to Letta.

"Drink this first, you need to calm down," Marco said, making Letta nod her head. Letta took the glass and sipped it slowly, until Letta tried to put the glass back.

"I won't let you have bad dreams again, I will stay by your side," Marco said, making Letta just fall silent, looking into her husband's eyes. Somehow, Letta didn't want to tell him everything she had just experienced. Somehow, Letta didn't want to see Marco's expression when she told him, and fear dominated her heart right now. Letta also didn't know why she had to feel scared of her own husband right now, just because some of these memories came back to her. Until finally, Letta tried to hide it from Marco before she knew what was really happening and regained her memory.

Letta then turned to look at Marco, who was also sleeping beside her.

"Can I visit Freya at Mommy's house tomorrow?" Letta asked, making Marco fall silent for a moment.

"Well, I'll take you there tomorrow," Marco said, making Letta immediately refuse.

"Are you not going to the office tomorrow? You can ask the driver to take me, right, and have the security guard come along?" Letta said, making Marco fall silent for a moment. "Isn't your condition still not fully recovered?" Marco said.

"I'm fine, and I miss our daughter," Letta said again.

"Well, then we'll see tomorrow. If you don't want me to go with you, I'll have the office driver take you to Mommy's house," Marco said again.

"Where did our home driver go?" Letta asked.

"He left here a few days ago, and before we got a replacement, so it's a bit difficult for you to go out of the house. That's why I chose to take you," Marco said, making Letta nod her head. "Alright, it's up to you, as long as I can meet Freya tomorrow," Letta said, making Marco smile.

"Right now, it's better for you to rest first, so you can look fresh tomorrow to meet Freya," Marco continued, making Letta nod in accordance with her husband's words.
