The Stripper Slave

I dusted myself off before I made my way out of the building. I knew I was breaking rules but I needed to run it out. Vincent was nearby and he stared my way as I ran and shifted into my wolf. I took off. I was going to come back but being in my wolf form means that I could think clearly. I needed an escape for just a minute if need be. If this was going to be my life then I needed to get used to it. What is the use of fighting and arguing? All I know is that I am tired and hungry. But most of all I missed my daughter and needed to hold her right now….

We watched as she obsessed over the idea of bringing someone back to life like it was something we could do. But when we both didn’t agree her face fell as if she accepted her reality. With no words that could be spoken she walked out and we couldn’t even chase her. “You know she is right though. She is in a worse situation than we are and we really don’t get much of a vote. I nodded but I still don’t think that is the only way. We both headed out and what we saw made my skin crawl with just hate. I was seeping venom at this point. She took the guy’s hand and cut through us into the room we were just in. Another god damn guard. Part of me wanted to go in there and tear that warrior’s head off but we all know that could end up worse than it already is. Jack and I looked at each and it’s like we both knew that we had to come up with something and something fast.

This is a new reality but I can’t mess around with the Goddess. That means she won. “I have to go before my scent comes back and I am spotted. Just try to take care of her the best way that you can.” Jack walked away and here I was still completely stuck. I fought myself hard not to go in there or to listen in on what was going on. I decided to go patrol outside of the club so I didn’t have to bear the thought that my mate was pleasuring another man with her seductive way. Completely out of my mind I couldn’t focus on anything else but her. Until her scent came closer to me and there she was as she shifted into her wolf and she took off to the woods. This wasn’t good. She wasn’t allowed to leave unsupervised and if she was found with me it could be worse for her too. Once again I had to restrain myself. But we all know it was the hardest thing I had to do was watch her take off upset. She was a slave so it could be anything now.

After retiring for the night I went to sleep and woke up to go guard the Goddess again. Let’s see what kind of tricks she had up her sleeve today. I knocked on her door to inform her of the change of shifts. She opened the door wide up in a sheer robe and nothing to the imagination. “Good Morning Vin, it’s so nice to see you again. Would you like to come in?” She said seductively. “Nope, just letting you know I am here. I am good out here.” I turned my back from her and just waited by the door. We all know she was the hottest of them all but she isn’t Athena which makes it easier. Athena wasn’t fighting the bond or else I probably would have said yes. “Oh don’t be a sour puss, come in.” She grabbed my arm and pulled me inside. This was not going to end very well with me inside. I stood by the door as stood there stiff while she made her way over to the bed. “I can commend you for being so loyal to your mate, even when you’re basically sharing her with your brother.” I stayed quiet while she undressed herself to change. I noticed a marking on her back.

She had three long scars that start from her lower back to the middle of her shoulder blades like she’s been attacked before. Made curious as to what happened but I wasn’t going to ask. But she caught me looking. “I bet you’re wondering why the fairest of them all has such ugly scars. Do you want to know?” I once again remained silent and looked straight ahead. Engaging in conversation with the enemy wasn’t the plan and I will not entertain it. “Well, you see when I couldn’t be with my mate. I had another who wasn’t my mate that I had relations with. But he had this mate that wasn’t giving up on him and she attacked me. We all know I can’t shift. Only when the solar eclipse comes. And she got me good. If anything she almost killed me. There are only a handful of people who could cause so much damage and that is other gods. There is God of all Gods. Vampire God. Witch ancestors. But Setrina Nomads was only a demi-God. She had the power but she left her everlasting mark on me. She was so ashamed of her doing she took off to never be seen again. And now I am marked for life.” She went on to explain. Setrina Nomad. Demi-God? She dared to attack the Moon Goddess which is something interesting.

“You look like you have a question, why don’t you ask it?” She spoke to me. And finally, I spoke. “You seem to want to show people you are boss. Your mother led by example while you are leading with jealousy and hate. Why is that?” Her entire demeanor changed as she shot up from the bed and is now in my face. “You will not speak of my mother at all. She was weak and let everyone walk all over her!” If she wasn’t thousands of years old it would be hard not to mistake her from a teenager. “I mean she died for you to lead. You have a duty and then you abandoned us over and over again. You had a child out of wedlock and that child was being cared for by Athena. You lowered her to a slave because she wouldn’t side with you. And now we are forced into these roles out of spite. You turned your back on us and we don’t have your back. Goddess, we don’t trust you enough to risk our lives for you.” Smoke was coming out of her ears. “It doesn’t matter! I own every one. Athena turned her back on me when I was giving her the world.” And now I was pissed. “No, you gave her the same life you had and wanted her to be grateful. She doesn’t get to be with her kid and she was shunned before everyone else because of your hate. So yeah I will be a toy soldier and keep my mouth shut. If you think for a second you’ll get me to sleep with you and fall for you. You’re stupider than you look.” And with that, I walked out the door and started counting my blessings for being out of line.
