Case was irked the moment he recalled Fane's face. In his impatience, he wanted nothing more than to see that man again. At that moment, Jimmy hurried toward Case with an anxious look on his face.
Case frowned, feeling like something was wrong with Jimmy's expression. Could something have happened? At that moment, he was not in a good condition. Even though he had gained a lot, he had used up all his true energy. He felt like he was barely keeping himself standing upright. Jimmy could tell that Case was in a weaker state and swallowed what he was about to say. He reached out to support Case, but Case did not care about that at that moment. Case did not know what happened, so he got even angrier when he heard what Jimmy said.

stop him? How could that happen?! Even if you couldn't attack him, you could've followed him. You could've had someone report to me after that! This guy wouldn't have the guts to walk out of Cloud City. There are no rules outside of the city. If he left, he'd fall right into our hands!"
Jimmy shook his head as his expression twisted. It felt like anything he said would be wrong. After all, Case had not seen anything.
To Case, Fane was an insignificant ant that had just been bragging all the while. Without the rules in place, he would have attacked Fane.
Jimmy sighed helplessly. "It's not like that. He didn't leave this place, but I couldn't follow him either."
Case was even more confused at those words. If anything, Jimmy's words served to only confuse him. What exactly happened? At that moment, Case had lost all his patience.
