The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

Chapter Billionaire With Husband 70

Chapter 70 guns. To

Felix felt resigned as he looked at the scene before him. He didn't want Kane to make an appearance. He'd only brought the latter along just in case. It looked like it would be hard to get Sasha, who was fully conscious, out of here without things getting bloody. Meanwhile, Sasha's fear and horror had turned to despair at the sight of all the any regular individual, seeing a gun was about the scariest thing that could happen to them. She knew that Felix was dead meat, which also meant she was doomed. Suddenly, she regretted everything. She wouldn't have met Saul if not for her agreeing to help Ted take Felix down, and none of this would've happened.

At that moment, Felix snapped his fingers. Someone got out of the Range Rover's driver's

seat.

Ironhulk's expression changed drastically when he saw who it was. "L-Lord Kane?"

Kane stood beside Felix and said coldly, "You've got guts, Ironhulk. How dare you try to pick on my distant relative? Even I have to address him as Mr. Zeller!"

Sasha gasped. It hadn't been long since she'd met Kane, so she recognized him. So, there hadn't been any misunderstanding. Felix really was related to Kane-that alone was enough for him to do whatever he wanted in Avesburgh.

Ironhulk subconsciously took a step back. He never would've expected a nobody like Felix to have someone like Kane on his side.

"Why aren't you letting her go yet?" Kane bellowed.

Ironhulk's men paled at that. They couldn't help it-Kane was infamous in Avesburgh. They knew how domineering and authoritative he was.

Ironhulk gnashed his teeth. A bold idea formed in his mind when he realized Kane was alone. He said, "I wouldn't dare defy you, Lord Kane. I'll release her right now."

As he spoke, he placed his right hand behind him and gestured to his men. They were all his closest confidantes, and they understood what he meant. They were scared out of their wits but couldn't possibly go against Ironhulk when he'd already given the order. Sasha ran to Felix at top speed upon being released. The arrogant and condescending attitude she usually had around him was nowhere to be found. "Felix, I—"

Felix knocked her out before she could get any further. Then, he caught her and carried her to the Range Rover. He said to Kane, "I'll leave this to you, then. Remember what I said- raze the place to the ground."

"Yes, sir!"

Ironhulk's tricks hadn't escaped Felix's and Kane's notice. Besides, they had no intention of giving Ironhulk a second chance. He was as evil as they came, so his death would benefit society.

As soon as Felix got into the car, one of Ironhulk's lackeys ran over, shouting, "The dog farm... People are surrounding us, boss! There are even snipers!"

Ironhulk whipped around to look at Kane. Now he knew that he was the fool here. At the same time, Kane's figure disappeared from view. All he left behind was a booming, "Kill!"

Felix looked down at Sasha as he left the dog farm, feeling guilty. She was getting her just desserts because of what she'd done, but Ironhulk had only gotten involved because Felix had injured Saul. And so, as an upstanding man, he wouldn't absolve himself of the blame.

Just then, his phone rang. It was a call from Warren. As soon as he answered it, he heard Warren bellow, "If anything happens to my daughter, I won't forgive you, Felix!"
