Chapter Billionaire With Husband 102
Chapter 102
"Grandpa! Is what he's saying true? How could that be possible?" Sherlyn Holt gasped in disbelief.
The old man let out a bitter smile and nodded,
"Yes, Sherlyn. Around midnight, every night, I've been suffering from severe abdominal pain. I've had my medical team and a few highly regarded doctors examine me privately, but none of them could find the cause.
"Since I wasn't experiencing any other issues, I didn't want to worry you, so I kept it from you."
After revealing this, his expression grew thoughtful. "I never thought that I would
encounter such a young master healer here in Avesburgh at my age. It seems fate is being kind to me."
Jairo and Sherlyn were stunned and speechless. How could they believe that Felix, whom they had initially dismissed as a charlatan, was now being hailed as a master healer?
"Sherlyn, apologize to him."
Taking a deep breath, Sherlyn walked over to Felix and apologized respectfully, "I'm sorry for my rash behavior earlier. Please, forgive me and help my grandfather."
She had no doubts now. If Felix could diagnose her grandfather's condition without even checking his pulse, there was no way he couldn't cure him.
Felix waved off her apology. "There's no need to apologize. I wouldn't have come over if I weren't willing to help. Your grandfather has dedicated his life to serving the country, so how could I stand by and do nothing now that I've encountered him?" The old man, Ernest Holt, was moved by Felix's words. Indeed, fate had brought this moment to him.
"I still didn't get your name, sir."
"My name is not important," Felix replied.
Sherlyn, still anxious, asked, "Sir, where would be the best place for you to treat my grandfather? We'll go wherever you need us to."
Felix shook his head and gestured toward Ernest. "Here is just fine."
He took out a set of silver needles and began pressing Ernest's abdomen with his right hand, gradually increasing his speed. Even Jairo, who had seen many powerful people in his lifetime, was astonished. Felix's movements were so quick and precise that his hands blurred, making it clear that

this young man wasn't only a skilled doctor but also a capable martial artist.
When Felix's right hand finally stopped moving, his left hand flicked, and the silver needles that had been placed into Ernest's acupoints flew out in reverse.
Suddenly, Ernest coughed up a mouthful of blood, mixed with dark clots.
"Grandpa!" Sherlyn cried out, startled.
But Ernest, with blood still on his lips, smiled. "Don't worry, Sherlyn. I feel better than I have in years. Young miracle healer, your skills are indeed extraordinary. But what exactly was wrong with me?" Felix pointed to the blood on the ground.
"You were affected by a form of Southeast Drasian voodoo. The curse was cut short before it could be fully completed, which is why it wasn't detected in your medical exams.
"However, as you've aged, the residual voodoo poison in your abdomen began to resurface. If it hadn't been expelled today, your life would have been in danger within a month, and even God couldn't have saved you then." Ernest's eyes widened as memories of an incident from his time on the battlefield resurfaced. His respect for Felix deepened.
"Thank you, young sir. You've saved my life. How can I ever repay you?"
But Felix was already walking away, his voice trailing behind him. "I don't need anything from you. It's simply what you deserve."
As Felix's figure disappeared into the distance, Sherlyn's eyes followed him, her heart fluttering. This was the first time a man had made such a lasting impression on her.
"With a heart like that, it's no wonder he has such incredible medical skills at such a young age," Ernest murmured to himself, gently patting Sherlyn's head.
"He's gone now. Let's head back. I just want to get a good night's sleep," Ernest added with a look of contentment on his face.
Sherlyn, her cheeks flushing, quickly changed the subject. "Grandpa, what about the dinner Mr. Lambert Senior is hosting for you tonight? Are we still going?" "Of course," Ernest replied with a chuckle. "It's just a casual dinner and nothing fancy. Let's go."
