The Palace Beast

As King Afa turned around, he caught sight of Kay gracefully stepping out of the wooden cabinet inside his chamber. She was dressed in her finest gown, a beautiful white dress with intricate blue stripes adorning the waistline. The dress had a flattering silhouette that perfectly complemented her figure, making her look even more stunning. King Afa's memories took him back to the days when he was the crowned prince of Maxis, and Kay would visit him dressed in that same gown. The gown had now become a symbol of their long-standing friendship and a testament to the bond they shared.

The gown exposes almost her breast and part of her thighs can be seen without a constant gaze at it. "What are you doing here and how did you get in here without my permission!" the king cried out in total disappointment.

"I came to visit you and to surprise you. I wanted to know if you will change your mind and get back to me but it's only a waste of time."

Walking towards the door she turned and then said to the king, "Since you have chosen her, perhaps I will use another man who I will flex my leg against his back, urging him closer, my hands cupping his head to hold him still as I have all of him in me. The king started making his way to Eva. She was scared and angry at the same time. She was scared that she was so close to the point of letting her enemy close to her. 'She would have stabbed me from behind while kissing the king.' This thought was something she can't get off her mind. And she was angry that the king is vulnerable for Kay to walk into his chamber without him knowing it. She understood that the king and Kay were together; therefore the guards could have possibly turned a blind eye to Kay if they happen to see her walk into the king's chamber. However, she never wanted to be a victim of circumstances in her relationship with the king.

Slamming open the door of the king's chamber, as Kay did, and slam shuts it. "Eva... Oh, no wait!"

The king went after her. Paces up the hallways he quickly blocked her and gently grabbed her arm. "I can fix this." This is not what Eva wants to hear right now. Perhaps she wants to hear something else. She wanted the king to spell out how he intends to fix it.

Glaring at the king, she said in a calm voice, "You are hurting my arm, can you please let me go your highness?"

Sax Village of Maixis Kingdom As the sun slowly set and the sky turned dark, a bone-chilling breeze swept through the village. The howling wind made the open window rattle, causing the room to feel colder than usual. Suddenly, one of the villagers felt the urge to step outside and relieve himself. As he walked towards his horse, he caught a glimpse of a shadowy figure lurking nearby. Heart racing, he cautiously approaches and called out, "Leon, is that you?" The anxiety in his voice was palpable, as he waited for a response.

Out of the dark walked out an emaciated and doglike-looking creature. Its skin was gray and pale and the flesh is hairless. As the man flicked around to run, the creature lunged at him and with its filth-tipped claws, the heart of the man was ripped out. He gleamed with horror as the night closed in on him forever and his limbs went limp.
