The Lycan’s King Breeder

Chapter 1

As I sit here in the back of the carriage, my heart racing with fear and uncertainty, I can't help but wonder what my future holds. My step-father, Mr. Anderson, had sold me off to the Alpha King like a piece of meat to be used for his own pleasure. My parents had died in an accident when I was only 6 and I was adopted by this despicable guy.

"You could at least act happy," Mr. Anderson sneers at me.

"Happy to be sold off like a piece of property?" I can't help but roll my eyes at his words. After all, I was just a commodity to be bought and sold to the highest bidder.

Mr. Anderson shrugged. "Look at the bright side. Once you give the Alpha King a son, he'll release you from your duties. You are no longer a child, you are a woman, you are 22 years old."

"Duties?" I scoffed. "You mean I'm nothing more than a glorified breeder for him? How could you do this to me?"

"That's life, dear," Mr. Anderson said casually. "You should be grateful that I found a good deal for you. Not many people get the chance to live in luxury."

"Living in luxury won't be worth it if I'm trapped here for the rest of my life," i muttered under my breath.

The carriage came to a halt, and the door opened to reveal a grim-looking man with piercing blue eyes. It was clear from the moment we crossed the threshold that this was not a place where kindness or compassion were valued.

His eyes scanned me up and down as my step-father greedily counted the stack of coins he had been paid in exchange for me.

When my stepfather opened the purse his eyes opened wide. He made me want to vomit.

"Is this the breeder?" Maximus asked, his voice dripping with disdain.

"Yes, Your Highness," my step-father replied, bowing low. "A pure-blooded omega, just as you requested." "She's a fine specimen. Her name is Felicity"he added.

Maximus nodded, his attention focused solely on me. I felt a shiver run down my spine at the intensity of his gaze, and I took a step back, trying to create some distance between us.

The man-the Alpha King, studied me again for a moment before nodding curtly. "Bring her inside."

"Remember, you are representing our family." He whispered to me. I nodded hard, knowing he was all for the money.

He looked at me. "Make me proud, my girl," he said before turning and walking away.

"As we enter the pack, try to act calm,"Marcus the older man with salt and pepper hair who accompanied us, whispers to me. "The Alpha King is known for his unpredictability."

I was led into a grand hall, filled with people bowing low to the ground. As we passed by, the whispers began.

"She's so young, poor thing."

"She seems weak!"

"Can she satisfy the king?"

"Poor girl, she will bear the child of the king and the child will be so powerless like her!"

I felt my cheeks redden in embarrassment, but I held my head high. I refused to let them get the best of me.

Maximus Blackwood took my hand and led me up to a raised dais. "Welcome to my pack, Felicity."

I had never seen anyone quite like Maximus before-he was tall, with broad shoulders and an imposing presence that made it difficult to look him in the eye.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, your Highness," I said, doing her best to sound polite.

Maximus gave me a tight-lipped smile that made me doubt his sincerity. "You'll be staying here as my wife. Once you give me the son I require, you'll be free to go."

I winced at his wording but said nothing. I had heard this speech before from her step-father.

"In the meantime, you'll be expected to fulfill your role as a breeder," Maximus continued. "You'll be living in the wing designated for our future children. Marcus will show you to your quarters."

The older man with salt and pepper hair stepped forward. "Right this way, madam," he said, gesturing her to follow him.

My mind was racing as I tried to take it all in. I was trapped here, with the Alpha King, no less. What had i gotten myself into?

As we walked, Marcus explained the basics of life within the pack. Felicity tried to listen, but my mind kept wandering.

"Does the Alpha King have any other wives?" I blurted out.

"Just you, my dear," Marcus said, an amused glint in his eye.

As we reached her quarters, i took a deep breath, steeling myself for what was to come.

I pushed open the door, stomach churning, and met with a room larger than my own home.

"Make yourself at home, Mrs. Blackwood," Marcus said, respectfully bowing before exiting.

I took tentative steps around the room, noting the basic amenities that were provided. I decided to lay down on the bed and assess her options as i fell into a restless sleep.

I woke up to the sound of a sharp knock on my door. I groaned, rubbing my groggy eyes as I made my way over to it. It was Marcus, the old man who had shown me to my quarters. "Mrs. Blackwood, the Alpha King has requested your presence immediately," he said.

"Okay, I'm coming," I replied, my heart racing at the sudden summons.

I followed Marcus's lead back to the grand hall, where Maximus was seated at the head of the table, his advisors flanked on either side.

"Ah, Felicity, good to see you," he said with a small smile as i approached.

"What did you need me for?" I asked trying to keep my voice calm and steady, i exchanged a glance with Marcus, who gave a small nod before i followed the Alpha King out of the hall.

As we made our way through the castle, Maximus was surprisingly quiet. I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He wasn't acting like himself, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was about to happen. "Where are we going?" I asked, trying to break the silence between us.

"To the laboratory," Maximus said simply.

"The laboratory?" I repeated, confused.

"Yes," Maximus said, stopping abruptly in front of a wooden door at the end of the hallway. "I have something to show you."

My stomach churned as Maximus opened the door and motioned for me to follow him inside. The room was dimly lit, with only a couple of flickering candles casting light on the walls.

"Maximus, what is this?" I said, afraid.

"You're my wife, Felicity," he said, turning to look at me. "Don't you trust me?"

I hesitated for a moment, but ultimately nodded. Maximus produced a small vial, and I gasped as I saw a faint liquid inside.

"What is that?" I asked.

"A fertility potion," Maximus said, smiling slyly. "I mixed it myself."

My eyes widened in horror as Maximus approached me, vial in hand.

""Now, it's time to get busy," he said, grinning.

I took a step back, shaking my head. "No, Maximus, please. I don't want this."

Maximus's expression turned dark. "You don't have a choice."

I backed myself up against the wall, my heart racing in my chest. I didn't know what to do.

"Maximus, please," I begged, tears streaming down my face. "I can't do this."

But he didn't listen. He grabbed me forcefully, pushing me onto the nearby table. The vial slipped from his grip, shattering on the floor. ""Maximus, no!" I screamed, struggling against him.

He looked at me, his eyes cold and calculating. "You're just a breeder to me, Felicity. Nothing more."

I felt a surge of anger and desperation. "I'm not just a breeder," I spat. "I'm a person, and you can't treat me like this."

Maximus leaned in, his breath hot against my neck. "I can do whatever I want," he said, before kissing me roughly.

I pushed him away, feeling sick to my stomach. "I won't let you do this to me," I said, my voice shaking with anger.

Maximus just laughed, grabbing me again. "You don't have a choice, Felicity," he said. "You're mine now."

But I wasn't going to be his victim. I fought back, kicking and screaming until he finally let me go.

"You'll pay for this," Maximus growled, storming out of the room.

I collapsed onto the floor, tears streaming down my face. What had I gotten myself into?
