CHAPTER SEVENTY EIGHT. "Hey bro, what's up?" Aiden asked as Damian came downstairs, the team were all rehearsing for their next game and even their new recruit, the female gamer was also rehearsing with the team and they seem to be getting along well.

"I am going somewhere, you all should rehearse without me" he replied.

"But we have a practice match with ZIDO" it was Nicky who spoke up.

"It was urgent uncle, is Cody in?". "Yes, she just got back from work". "Okay, I will check up on her" he replied and made his way upstairs when he saw Jem, "hello Aunt" he hugged her lightly. "You didn't tell us you were coming". "Urgent matters aunt, I will go to Cody now" he replied and rushed upstairs.

"It's seems he won't let Cody off easily" Rubby said as he stood near his wife. "They might get back together" she beamed excitedly, she had always known they were the perfect match. "We have nothing to talk about, just get out of my room" she replied standing up from her bed.

Instead of leaving, he began to move closer to her and she was also moving backwards until her back hit her closet and his tall frame was towering over her.

"Leave Damian" she managed to say, forcing herself not to look at him.

"Why can't you just tell me what I did that made you hate me so much Cody" he pleaded, his voice sounding so calm.

He wanted to be mad but he couldn't, she has been staying away from him all these years because she thought he cheated on her.

"And you couldn't talk to me about it Cody, you had to break up with me for something I never did".

"She was screaming your name" she blurted, she still couldn't believe he didn't cheat on her.

"For five years I have been in pain for something I never did Cody, I should have known you never loved me" saying that, he turned around and walked out of the room. His eyes were already glistening with tears and he felt very hurt that that was how she thought of him.

As she watched him walk out she also broke down in tears, if he was right then she had misjudged him for five years.

"Are you going to sit here crying or you will go after him and sought things out?" A voice asked deep in her mind, then she found herself rushing out of the room but he was already gone by the time she reached downstairs, only her parents were standing near the door.

"Where is Damian?" She asked her mum.

"He already left dear" she replied, her eyes filled with sadness as she saw the tears in the eyes of her daughter and even Damian's. "Why didn't you stop him?" she almost yelled but her dad walked up to her and pulled her into an embrace." Calm down baby" he whispered to her as he stroked her hair, he couldn't bear to see her in this state.
