CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT. Gwen's assistant quickly rushed into her office with a terrified look on her face, at first Gwen was startled, after what happened to Jennie she has become more cautious not to leave any evidence of her deeds behind. "What is it? She asked, looking at her assistant who was all panicky. "Ma'am, the person who bought thirty percent of Luca shares has bought another ten percent this morning".
"What" Gwen yelled jumping out of her seat," how is that possible?".
"I really don't know ma'am, it just got to my notice a few minutes back" her assistant replied. For a while, Gwen was speechless. Who the hell was messing with her like this and how dare them.
"Do you have any idea who the person who has been buying the shares is?. "No ma'am, but they did leave a clue this time around and only one name comes to mind".
"Who?" She asked hesitantly.
"Teresa Martins".
Gwen looked at her assistant as if she wanted to laugh," did you just say Teresa Martins?".
"Yes ma, that was the name I heard from the shareholders who sold out their shares".
"Who does she think she is to buy our shares?" she snapped, " call all those who sold their shares, they have some explaining to do".
"Yes ma' her assistant replied and quickly dashed out of the room.
"Teresa Martins, why has your name become so rampant on our lips?, Who are you and why are you buying the shares of Luca". Gwen muttered under her breath, pacing down the office. She was still deep in thoughts when her assistant came back into the office.
"Ma'am, all the shareholders already cleared their tables. They said you should deal with the new shareholder from now on".
"What insolence" Gwen snapped," I will make sure they all pay". She was still fuming in anger when her phone rang and it was her mother.
"Mum, why have you called?" She asked angrily, of all the times her mother was supposed to call, she chose this particular time.
"The goods worth thirty billion dollars that I signed from your father, it is still gone" Kathleen said from the other end of the line, she sounded so dejected and helpless. "How come mother, you said those people were legit". "Gwen, we have to do something or in less than a week, we won't even have good clothes to wear".
"Mum, do you think someone is purposely doing this? In Just few months Jennie was completely destroyed, 50 percent of Luca shares were bought and Aluta holdings is on the
verge of bankruptcy, even dad hardly ever has any money now".
"I think someone is Trying to play a trick on us Gwen, but don't worry, I will handle it" Kathleen replied from the other end.
"Mum, I heard from the staff that Teresa Martins may be behind all of this".
"What?That is impossible. Why is she interested in our business, not like we are up to her standard".

"We just have to make sure to know why she is doing this". Gwen replied. "There is more to this than what meets the eye, we will talk better when you get home" saying that, Kathleen disconnected the call and began to think about what Gwen said. "If truly Teresa Martins is involved in all this but why" she muttered under her breath, "I have to get to the bottom of this".
With the aid of his Stick, Wilson walked into the office of his wife, he found her pacing up and
down and could roughly guess what she was so engrossed in.
"Hmmm” he cleared his throat to make his presence known.
"Why have you come here Wilson, you should be resting at home" she replied the moment she saw it was her husband.
"I just wanted to see how things were here and how about the goods you said were on the way
"I am on it Sabastian, don't worry about it. Just leave the running of the company to me and the girls, we will handle it".
"I hope I don't become bankrupt by the time you people finish handling it" he replied sarcastically and she glared at him,
"I am busy, Sabastian" she angrily walked out of the office, seeing his face was irritating her the most. She has a lot of issues on her plate already and he wasn't helping.

"Ma, someone from the Aluta holdings called to book an appointment with you, should I book the appointment?" Teresa's secretary asked as she walked into the office, she also looked elegant in her well ironed professional wear. "Of course, book it for 2 pm today". "Okay ma" she replied and walked out to continue her work. Teresa quickly grabbed her phone and sent Damian a message. "Finally meeting Kathleen today, care to join?".

"You look good hubby" Teresa said the moment she entered the car, she was also dressed in a pair of flay trousers and a white shirt, it was neatly tucked in and she looked glamorous with her mild makeup. It seems the couple wanted to give Kathleen a heart attack. "You also look stunning Mrs Martins, I suddenly want to take you here and now" he replied teasingly and she blushed. "We can do that later, for now let's get going". "You know she is not relevant wife, we can go home and do something fun and can come back later to meet her".
She chuckled softly, "I know what the big boss wants and I won't stop him tonight but for now, let's not keep Kathleen waiting, I want to see the look on her face".
"Since my lovely wife has promised me for tonight, I shall be patient and wait quietly, for now let's go and meet that good for nothing wench". Damian answered and started the ignition.
"Hubby, let me handle her on my own okay" she knew that this man had no tolerance for her family at all and one word from him and the three of them would no longer exist in the world. "I can't guarantee you that wife, if I see her tries to misbehave with you, I will chop off her hands"
Teresa smiled at the man behind the wheel, he was never going to allow anything bad to happen to her and she was sure of it. She loved the fact that he doted on her more than anything in the world, she felt lucky to have someone like him in her life. Out of happiness, she clasped her hand over his, he smiled and looked at her. Without saying anything, he continued driving.
