The Billionaire's Bite

I was about to take a few steps away from Thea when I immediately caught a man with his whole face covered. It's on a motorcycle. That's how surprised I was when he suddenly pulled out a gun and quickly pointed it at me and then shot it. My whole body almost stiffened when I saw the blood from my belly. The only thing I heard was Thea's screams and other guests' noises. My eyes slowly closed and I couldn't balance my body and I fell to the ground.

The gunshot rang out and I suddenly grabbed my chest and slowly turned to it.

I slowly opened my eyes and was dazzled by the bright light from the ceiling. I looked around and realized that I am now in the hospital. .immediately what happened last night registered in my mind, I looked to my side and saw Thea asleep. I wanted to get up but I could feel the pain in my stomach, because of my actions Thea gradually woke up.

"Anna! It's good you're awake." She said tearfully and held my hand. "I'm sorry Anna." She added and she burst into tears.

"Thea, it's not your fault, don't blame yourself..." I promised weakly.

He smiled at me while rubbing my hand. 'Do you want something to eat? I brought fruit and food here." She said and immediately stood up and went to the table.

Before I could answer, we heard the door open. Mr. Jerson and Mrs. Amanda immediately appeared to me.

"Oh my god, Anna! Thank you and you already woke up." They both quickly came to me and immediately hugged me.

'They are your real parents.'

It was nothing that suddenly registered in my brain what Thea said before I was shot last night. I didn't know and I willingly hugged back to both of them. That feeling is strange, it feels like I'm safe and comfortable.

"It's good and nothing bad happened to you. We cannot forgive ourselves if you are separated from us again." Said Mr. Jerson.

I still can't believe that now I'm facing my real parents. It's like I'm just dreaming. Is all this true? If this is just a dream, please don't want to wake up.

My eyes turned to Thea and I could see the joy on her face. I know that Thea is my best friend of all, I feel guilty because of what I did to her last night. I turned my attention to Mr. Jerson and Mrs. Amanda or should I say, dad and mom. This is crazy, I know things happen very fast. Before I had no intention of looking for them because I was filled with anger but now that I know the whole incident it's as if the joy and fear of losing them again prevailed.

'Do you want something to eat? Are you hungry son?" I don't know why my heart suddenly felt happy when I heard the word son. It's been a long time since those who sheltered me died and only now have I been called a child again and what's even happier is that my other is saying it now.
