DARBE GENTLY REACHED DOWN and grabbed Jack’s hand. She led him to the bed and pulled him onto her.

She had lust in her eyes. Jack backed away, and she changed her expression.

Jack got close and then grabbed her by the throat. She let him. He could feel and monitor her breath and heartbeat. Jack watched her and remembered his conversation with Siri. He suddenly remembered the vid unit link up and her words. “Play along and wait for us.” Then he remembered the rebellion, and that the girl on the bed was not Eve, but Darbe.

“You played me for a fool for so long, Darbe!”

He released her and then she leered at him.

“All for the good of our new divine race, Jack.”

She started laughing. Marlow responded.

“You’re a wicked, sadistic monster.”

She turned over on the bed exposing herself to him.

“Why thank you, Jack.”

She continued.

“The Galactic Cruiser is loaded, and soon we will leave this planet and start a new family on a world called Eden. My Father has everything planned. The re-animation of life and it precious cycles and balances are all calibrated and figured out. She half smiled and twitched her nose.

“Of, course my father’s scientist have tweaked their genetic codes to ensure their survival on a new atmosphere and planet. There are millions seeds saved and cultivated from before the great decimation. We will rebuild a perfect world. Darbe saw Jack was in thought thinking about Siri and the rebels. She could literally smell it.

“They are all dead, Jack. The little rebellion will be crushed in a few hours. It’s over and so ends the human race.

Jack got up and turned away from Darbe. He didn’t speak.

“Jack, I’m talking to you, don’t ignore me!”

He didn’t respond, he walked over to the entrance. The door slid open, and he then turned towards Darbes direction.

“Gods we are not, even they left us a long time ago, we are but curse creatures running wild in our cages acting dignified.”

He continued, and Darbe walked towards him.

“You and your father are actually a step down in evolution.”

“How dare you insult the first order, Jack!”

Jack touched Darbes cheek. “I will never call you my wife. You and your father are a disgrace to mankind!”

Darbe grabbed his wrist and threw him across the room. Jack quickly found level footing and naturally adjusted his body in midair to roll onto the ground and broke his fall. He stood and looked at Darbe with a filthy smile.

Darbe lunged at Jack with the rage of a cat. She kicked Jack’s stomach. He countered by trapping her. He pushed her back, and she rolled on her backside and got up in a stance of defense.

“Don’t you see, my love, that we are a match? Even our fighting and defense abilities align.” She continued.

“I can take five men down with ease. You actually give me some competition.”

“You played me! And everyone who trusted you Darbe!”

She smiled and looked Jack in the eyes.

Jack walked out of the room and could hear Darbe laughing. She followed him.

“Jack, let me fill you in on a little secret that not even my father knows. Once the process is complete in a few years, your body and mine will go through a series of metamorphosis. The dominant Alien species will manifest itself. Your human form will cease to be.”

“Your uncle made a few adjustments to our DNA. You are a magnificent being as I am Jack. If Siri knew what you really were, she would no longer love you. Now you know everything, Jack.

He felt rage and anger within him.

“How could your Father do this to me!” Darbe was no back to her disguised form.

“What, Jack did you think you were, all human?”

Darbe laughed. “ Humans have been nothing but slaves and the workforce for our kind since the beginning of time. It was the only way to perfect the gene unification.

We, me and you Jack are the ultimate beings in the universe.

Jack countered her statement.

“So, we can enslave and brainwash the masses? No Darbe no more.”

“I had my life change in so many countless ways.

“I’ve made my mind up that all beings should be free and no one can take away our free will. Maybe Siri will love me regardless. I believe in her and she in me.”

“I will find a way to stop you. Darbe it’s not too late, leave your selfish nature and denounce all that you are.”

Darbe was enraged and then she teared up.

“I have your son in me, Jack. You wouldn’t want to hurt him now would you.”

Jack changed back and lunged towards her.

“There’s no way Darbe, I wouldn’t dare have touched you.”

She smiled. “While you were in stasis from the surgery.” She continued,

“I had the doctor swear his allegiance to me and prepare the semen sample.”

“Darbe, how could you do this?”

She countered, “our son will be the next Alexander the Great. It’s been prophesized, and now with our child, were a family now Jack, a perfect family.”

Jack recoiled.
