"I doubt. Vampires are impatient in the midst of werewolves. If they were more, they would have shown their faces at the Moon Stone pack tonight." I uttered before shutting my eyes so I could go back to thinking.
There was one way to end all of this, and it was to find their leader as soon as possible.
AMELIA:
Right now, I couldn’t be happier that Dexter had not only proven himself to the Alpha King but also to the pack,
He was certainly going to make a great Alpha King in the future. As soon as I was done dressing, I wore the diamond necklace Dexter had gifted me and got ready to leave,
The Alpha King was holding this party to celebrate the victory of yesterday.
I stepped out of the room and began heading outside where I was certain Dexter would be waiting for me, and I was right,
He stood close to the limousine with Daniel by his side waiting for me and the moment he raised his gaze at me, a big smile appeared on his face,
I smiled back at him and began walking down the stairs, while Dexter approached me,
His gaze traveled around my body, and he uttered, "You look extremely beautiful, Amelia." I chuckled lightly, and smiled, "Thank you. You look better than a charming prince, my love." I dusted the shoulder of his suit as I moved closer to him,
"Today’s all for you. It’s going to show the world how strong and worthy you are." I assured him and he nodded his head, "And it’ll show them I’m stronger with my queen by my side." He uttered, but deep down, I knew I had done nothing for the pack,
I wasn’t strong, and even though I was from a respectable family, I was an outcast already. It was even more shameful that I had a horrible past that could be used against me if the world found out, "Shall we?" I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded my head, "Where’s Clara?"
"She’ll be there with Tyson," Dexter responded while the car door was opened for me to step in. I stepped into the car and he came afterward,
"Are you ready to meet your mother?" I heard him say and I instantly darted my gaze towards him, "Is she fine now? When do I get to meet her." I questioned,
"Whenever you’re ready, Amelia." He responded and I took a deep breath in. I could feel my heart slowly beating fast at the thought of getting to see my mother once again,
I had waited so long for this day to come and I couldn’t believe that it was finally going to come. I had so many questions for her and even though she might not be able to remember me, I still couldn’t wait to see her,
"Thank you so much, Dexter, I love you so much," I uttered and hugged him tight, controlling tears from rolling down my eyes so I wouldn’t have to ruin my makeup.
About 20 minutes later, the car halted and the door was opened for us to step out of the car,
Dexter outstretched his arm towards me and I intertwined mine with his. This action made me recall months ago when we went on our fake honeymoon...
I let out a small smile as we walked towards the entrance of the hall where people were already packed up. The wolves line before the entrance lowered their heads to greet us but Dexter kept his head up, ignoring them all,
Just before we could go in, I noticed the back of a familiar figure at the side of the entrance and as soon as we got to the entrance, he turned towards our direction making me widen my eyes in shock as we stared at each other for a second,
"Alpha Dexter! What a pleasure to finally get to meet you. Congratulations on your win." He uttered and stretched his hand out for a handshake, Dexter let out a small smile and took his hand,
"The pleasure is all mine, Alpha Bryan Morris."
