I took a deep breathe, while cold shivers managed to run down my spine, I stared at him in nothing but fear, he was looking at me, while his lips was curved to a smile. "Father!" I call out in shocked.

"Seized them" he commanded with a husky voice.

"No...no, don't do this father, I'm ready to do anything, as long you let him live, please don't do anything that might eventually hurt him" I pleaded, which made him curved his lips to a smile, while looking at me deeply into the eyes, I tried as much to keep a calm expression, before I stood up and went close to my father.

"Please let him be, he hasn't done anything wrong" I pleaded with the little strength left in me, he let out a a husky laugh, it was almost like he was finding the whole thing amusing.

"Even right from the beginning you little fool, I knew you were his mate, but the vampire king has offered thousands of gold coins to anyone who's ready to catch the beast of the forest, I had to go on several research to find a weakness, while I never knew that my own daughter could actually be the weakness that I needed" he said to me, before he laughed so hoarsely, my body trembled, when I heard his husky voice, I couldn't believe that even right from the beginning, almost everyone had a bad intention.

"Are you really sure you were the one who had implanted the seed into my mother's womb, because I have never felt any fatherly love coming from you" I shouted, I stood up, because I know there is no time to beg but to act, I turned my gaze towards him, I noticed that Jeff was breathless, it was more like he was about to take his last, then I remembered what the witch had told me, that we have very limited time.

I connected with my wolf, in less than a minute my body was covered with all furs, I let out a husky growl, before I charged at anyone that thought of coming closer to him, I was already feeling immense pain by seeing him lifeless on the ground, and I won't allow anything to happen to him, I think he must he Legendary, that's the reason why many people wants him.

"Please come back to me "I Sent him s mind link, but he didn't respond, he was still lifeless on the ground.

"I hate you father, why are you bent of destroying my happiness" I cried, while sending him a mind link, he smirked before he transformed, in less than a minute he was in all furs and he was looking at me with his wild green eyes. I charged at him with no hesitance or restrictions, even if it means dying while trying to protect the man that was perfectly chosen for me by the goddess, then I don't mind, I'm ready to do it.

I continued fighting with the last energy in me, I don't care what people thinks, but I was determined to save the man that I love, after countless attempts, I was almost at the winning side, but unfortunately, I felt life was too short to express ones feelings for him.

"Argh" I groaned, when I felt nothing but immense pain, when I felt being pierced with a spear and was laced with wolvesbane, I turned to see who had done that. I was shocked to see that it was Lucas, the man I can never believe he would do such.

"Lucas!" I called out gently, trying to wrap my head around the whole situation.

" 'I can't believe you did this" I muttered gently, before I close my eyes, accepting the pain that comes with it, I tried as much to calm down, but I couldn't, I don't know what else to do.

I noticed the lifeless body of Jeff, he was still lying lifeless on the ground, I felt the need to shout or even scream at the top of lungs, I was feeling nothing but immense pain, the wolvesbane was spreading all around my body, I did one last thing this could make me feel better.

Which was to crawl to him, while looking at him Intently, his eyes was closed, I reached out to him, before I managed to kiss his lips, despite the immense pain I was experiencing.

"I love you so much Jeff, always remember that" I said before I took my last and closed my eyes, allowing the pain to take it full course, even though my life was nothing but misery, I was glad I got the chance to know what it meant to be genuinely happy.

"Roseline, Roseline" a feminine voice call out to me, I took a deep breath, before I tried to squint my eyes, my Brows creased, my eyes hurt due to the blaring light of the environment.

I then noticed I was in an unfamiliar environment, there was the evidence of trees and the emergence of natural life, the place shows clarity how nature can be beautiful.

I tried to take my wobbled feet to move, which it did, but I almost fell to the ground, that's when I noticed a woman who seemed to be in her early twenties, she was so beautiful, especially with her golden brown eyes, her red logs that cascade down her back, matching up with a red dress, everything about her was perfect.

"Come closer Rose" she said gently, which I did, before I started moving more closer to her, she took my hand while looking at me Intently.

"You don't know how much I have always wished to see you and show you how you mean to me, I have always wished to see you, even it's just ones" she said which made me plaster a smile on my face.

"Who are you" I asked gently, already surprised by the outcome of it, she let out a sigh before she said.

"I'm your mum"
