Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love

Chapter 254 Be A Loving Child

Charles liked seeing Nancy being shy with her cheeks blushing, so he added.

With a frown, Nancy took a deep breath, and then plucked up the courage to say self-consciously, "Honey, I love you!"

"Wow, mommy is awesome!" Nadia and Bobby clapped their hands happily after hearing what she said.

"Honey, I love you, too!" Charles answered, his satisfaction clearly showing on his face and gave Nancy a big kiss on her cheek.

The kids burst into happy laughter again.

However, Nancy became more embarrassed and her face turned redder. In fact, she felt sweet in her heart. She rubbed her face and complained halfheartedly, "You three do nothing but bully me all the time!" "Not true! Bobby, we love mommy very much, right?" Nadia asked while tilting her head to look at Bobby.

"Of course, I love mommy very much!" Bobby replied in a serious manner.

"Mommy, the teacher said that for a child to be loving, the child should be educated by a loving family. That's why we should always practice saying 'I love you' to each other!" Nadia lectured Nancy seriously as if she were an adult.

"Your teacher is definitely right. Only a loving family can educate a child with love. Always remember that daddy loves mommy very much. In return, mommy must also love daddy very much. If you know how to love others, then it follows that you will also know how to love yourself!" Whenever the chance arose, Charles learned that he should educate his children.

"Okay, got it, daddy!" Nadia and Bobby both said at the same time.

After hearing the response of the two children, Charles felt a sense of accomplishment.

Charles then drove to the supermarket to buy food with Nancy and the children. As soon as they entered the supermarket, they got noticed and attracted the attention of others.

"Wow, aren't these the kids on TV last night? Now they are here and we see them in person and they are alive!"

When he heard this, Bobby was disgusted by their words and frowned in annoyance.

"We are alive and are in good health. What nonsense is that man talking about?" Bobby muttered angrily.

"Don't waste your time arguing with foolish people!" Nancy said in a calm voice as she tried to placate Bobby. "Wow, these two kids are so cute. If only I can take them home, I would love to!" someone exclaimed in admiration. Nadia, in turn, smiled and gave her a cute face.

Although she knew that she couldn't be a star for now, she still liked the feeling of being noticed and adored by people. Nancy tried to protect Nadia from the prodding gazes with her arms. "Charles, let's hurry up and just buy some food quickly."

Charles knew that for Nancy, the most annoying thing was for her to be the center of attraction and be noticed by others. To disperse the crowd, he looked at them coldly and said, "We are just ordinary people. Like you, we have two eyes, two ears, one nose, and a mouth. Why are you looking at us?"

"You are different because you are rich. Besides, Mr. Fu, your children are so cute. We adore and love them so much!" It was a rare occasion for normal people to talk to such a powerful man as Charles, so they quickly answered.

In the past, he could only be seen on TV. Most of the time, he was surrounded by bodyguards. He was so overbearingly cold that no one would even dare to get close to him.

Now, he seemed more friendly and approachable to people.

He was even here with the children. People could not believe that they would see Charles in a supermarket of all places! Never in their wildest dreams would they even think of him doing groceries! "Thank you for your love and attention for my children, but they need a relaxed space to grow up. I hope that you who have children would pay more attention to your own children, and the unmarried ones would pay more attention to your own work and life!" Charles patiently explained to the crowd gathered around them.

"I agree that what Mr. Fu said makes sense. Let's go mind our own business and buy our things. Why are we surrounding him and the children?" someone shouted with sympathy.

"That's right. Let's go. Let's go!" another one echoed.

One by one, the crowd finally dispersed.

When she saw this, Nancy breathed a sigh of relief.

Nadia suddenly asked curiously, "Daddy, are you really rich?" "Well... Not bad. I have enough money for raising you," Charles said awkwardly as he tried to give her a vague answer. "Don't the other people have money? How do people without money look like?" Nadia prodded again.

Bobby also raised his head inquisitively. He was also interested in the answer to this question!

"Well, how do I explain it? People without money..." Charles thought for a while before answering seriously, "Have you ever seen beggars? People without money go to beg for money on the streets in order to live. Do you think they are miserable?"

"But I met a beggar last time. He is still so young. Daddy, why doesn't he go to work instead?" Nadia asked again, still unable to comprehend why.

What Charles really wanted to say was, "Not everyone in the world is hardworking. There are a lot of people who don't want to work hard."

But looking at the children's innocently clear eyes, he really couldn't say the words, so he explained instead, "I think that person has encountered a lot of difficulties in his life. A person needs to study hard and strive to make himself a capable person. When you grow up, don't be like him, who doesn't even have the ability to support himself!"

"I think your daddy is right, listen to him. Anyways, kids, come here and choose what fruit you like to eat!" Seeing the sweat on Charles' forehead, Nancy thought, 'Yes, I can empathize with him. It's really troublesome to answer the children's questions.'

"Okay, mommy, I want to eat the passion fruit because it is my favorite. Bobby, you like it too, don't you?" Nadia cheerfully said.

"Nadia, you are nothing but a foodie," said Bobby scornfully.

"Foodie? Humph, Bobby, you are such a mean and bad guy! You are the one who's a foodie! Humph!" Nadia tried to punch Bobby with her little hands angrily, but Bobby knew her intentions and ran away with a smile.

Just by looking at the two adorable children who were bickering cheerfully, Charles said contentedly, "Thank you for giving me the two adorable children!"

"Don't be so sentimental. Any woman you choose to marry will be happy to have a child with you. Besides, we..."

"We haven't gotten married yet? Don't worry, it's easy!" replied Charles in a dubious tone.

Nancy didn't know what response to give him, so she bit her lips instead and didn't say anything. Sometimes, she felt that she was the kind of person who was afraid of marriage and commitment.

After they had finished doing their groceries, the family happily went home, bringing with them a wide variety of food.

The two kids helped to take the grocery bags from the car when they got home. Together, they all walked into the villa.

As the sun was setting, Nancy was enjoying the view while walking behind them. Looking at the children who were laughing blissfully, she felt an indescribable warmth in her heart.

Wasn't this the life she had always longed for? She was living the life she wanted and couldn't ask for anything more, but why did it feel surreal, as if she was in a dream? Everything just felt so unreal!

She couldn't exactly pinpoint where her fears came from. Maybe it was because she had been trying to seize happiness for too long. Now that she had finally experienced it, she was more afraid that this kind of happiness would be a flash in the pan and disappear as soon as it appeared. What she feared the most was losing it after she had a taste of it.

Upon returning home, Charles went into the kitchen with the all the ingredients to prepare the food.

While Charles was contentedly cooking dinner, the two kids were playing with each other.

Meanwhile, Nancy returned to her bedroom. She took out the notebook that Erin gave her, carefully unfolded it and read it again.

Looking at the records, Nancy, who was in a good mood, felt a heavy feeling in her heart again.

"Jessie, you are really nothing but a worm!" Nancy muttered, her voice full of resentment.

In a fit of annoyance, she threw the notebook away and it landed on the cabinet.
