Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love

Chapter 106 I Don't Like Dorothy

"You are such a fast talker!" Angelina sighed, "I did this for the future of the Fu family. When will you understand my efforts?"

"I know, grandma. But I miss mommy so much. When will you understand me, grandma?" Bobby said sadly. The question he raised made his grandmother perk. "What did you say? Forget it. I want to be alone for a while." Angelina pinched her eyebrows.

Even though he wanted to protest, he decided to grant his grandmothers wish to be left alone. Bobby obediently took the toys upstairs and left Angelina to her thoughts.

At this moment, the housekeeper came in and informed her, "Madam, Mr. Zhuang is here."

"Drew?" Angelina became spirited.

"Yes," answered the housekeeper reverently.

Soon enough, the guest walked into the room holding many bags in his hands. He greeted Angelina politely, "Hello, Mrs. Fu."

"Mr. Zhuang, come in please." Seeing the look on Drew's face, Angelina knew what he came for. "Sit down, please."

He nodded and sat down next to Angelina.

Angelina signaled for a servant and asked for tea to be prepared for her and Drew. As they waited, Drew began to speak.

"Mrs. Fu, I assume that you are aware of what I came for. My dear daughter has been in love with Charles for many years, and now she is not a little girl anymore..." As he spoke, he raised his glasses to conceal something and continued, "To be honest, I have been waiting for Charles to talk to me about their marriage, but he might be too busy or he just forgot it. So, I'm here to ask if you are satisfied with my daughter."

Angelina smiled at once, "Mr. Zhuang, you know we all like Dorothy and we believe that she is a suitable partner for my son. But Charles, alas, he has always been cold and indifferent to everyone since childhood." Though she knew the real reason for Charles' decisions, she decided to keep quiet about it.

"Yes, you are right, Mrs. Fu. So should we do something about it?" Drew was about to speak, but decided against it. He looked at Angelina expectantly for her answer.

"No, no way!" Unbeknownst to them, Bobby had been eavesdropping in a corner of the staircase during the entire conversation and was extremely displeased with what he heard.

It seemed that they wanted Dorothy to be his stepmother.

Then, what about his Nancy, his mommy?

For Dorothy to be... No, no, he didn't want her to be his mother. He didn't want to imagine what it would be like to have her as his new mother.

'If she becomes my mother, my life will be ruined. Or I can say, I will hardly be happy before I reach adulthood. I don't want that,' Bobby thought.

He would never let such a tragedy happen, so he had to do something.

Thus, he quickly ran downstairs and interrupted them.

"Kids should not eavesdrop in while adults are talking." Angelina glared at the child and then said apologetically to Drew, "Mr. Zhuang, he is just a little boy. Please don't mind him." "Of course I won't," he said. Drew took out a handkerchief and wiped the sweat from his forehead, nervous by how Bobby acted.

It was a known rumor that the young master of the Fu family was bossy. Now it turned out the saying was true since he saw him himself today.

"No, I won't. I don't agree to this." Frowning, Bobby retorted, "I don't want Dorothy to be my stepmother. I don't like her, not at all."

His words made Drew's face turned red in embarrassment, the older man's forehead covered with sweat. He tried to assure Bobby,

"Bobby, Dorothy is very gentle. You have a deep misunderstanding of her."

"Yeah. The kid is too young to distinguish right from wrong. He is always saying nonsense!" Turning her head around, she shouted at the servants, "Take Bobby to bed now!"

Two maids immediately ran over to pick up the young master.

"Bobby, we should go to bed now," they said.

"No, I'm not sleepy, not at all." Nonetheless, the maids lifted him, and forcefully brought him to his room. Although he tried to struggle, he was still taken away since he was too young and too weak much to his dismay.

When Bobby got back to his bedroom, he stared at the two servants with a sullen, angry gaze.

"Are you leaving or not?" he asked.

"We dare not!" the maids said in fear. Though they didn't want to disobey him, they knew that they would get in trouble if he went back downstairs.

"I'm not sleepy. What should I do?" asked Bobby.

"How about we dance, sing, or tell you stories?" one maid asked helplessly.

"Okay then, dance now." Seeing how serious he looked, the maid felt a sense of regret for what she suggested.

"Okay."

"I want to watch tango. Please dance," said Bobby after thinking for a while. The maids broke a sweat at the absurd request. "Sorry, we can't." they said embarrassedly.

Besides, this was something they didn't expect when they applied for a job here. Unfortunately, this didn't stop the young master.

"I can't, either. So you can dance whatever you want. Also, neither of you are allowed to stop unless I tell you," said Bobby peremptorily.

"All right." To coax him and not let him go out and cause more trouble, they had to agree.

Thus, they danced in Bobby's room.

Bobby leaned on the sofa leisurely; he seemed to be in a daze.

Much to their dismay and shame, whenever the two maids thought he was asleep and wanted to stop, Bobby opened his eyes wide and scolded, "I haven't asked you to stop yet. You continue." And so the two maids continued to dance until their ankles, legs and the whole body ached.

Even when their clothes were drenched in sweat, Bobby didn't ask them to stop.

It was like a punishment from hell. What did they do wrong?

After a long time, the two maids could not dance anymore and sat on the ground. They tried to catch their breaths after getting worn out by the cruel request their young master gave them. "Dear Bobby, we are too tired. How about another game?" they pleaded with a sad look.

Hearing that, Bobby opened his eyes and said, "Okay. Let's play a game of sleeping. You two will sleep beside me."

"That's great! We love this game so much!" the two maids said happily.

They were so tired that they wanted to take this chance to have a good rest.

"You two lie down on this sofa and close your eyes," he commanded. The maids, as tired as they were, were able to catch on what Bobby planned.

"Young master, lie down, please," they said. They were not stupid. What if the young master ran away when they fell asleep?

"Okay." Bobby lay down on his bed.

And the two maids lay down on the sofa, not putting their guard down and watched him.

"Sleep, now!" Hearing his command, both maids closed their eyes at once, as if they had been pardoned.

Bobby also had his eyes closed. Since he had enough sleep while they were dancing, he pricked up his ears to listen to the breathing of the two maids.

Aware of his intentions, the two maids were cautious in the beginning. They opened their eyes from time to time to check if Bobby was there. However, when they saw him lying quietly on the bed, they gradually relaxed and fell asleep.

Seeing that they were finally asleep, Bobby quietly got out of bed. He carefully walked around his room and tried to not make any noise.

He looked for his phone everywhere but couldn't find it.

Unfortunately, without it, he couldn't make a call to his mommy and daddy.

Just then, another idea flashed in his head. He lifted the bed sheet off the bed, tied one end on the bedside table, and the other around his waist. Then he climbed up on the windowsill, opened the window and sneaked down.

Luckily, his room was on the second floor. Otherwise, this trick would have been dangerous.

As he landed on the floor after successfully escaping his room, Bobby clapped his hands happily. "This is very exciting."

He jerked his head around to peek at the living room of the villa. He couldn't believe that the hateful Drew was still talking with his grandma. He remembered their conversation and frowned.

'You want Dorothy to be my mother? No way!'

Not wanting to be in the house anymore, he trotted along the garden path briskly and came out from the gap of the fence.

He waved his hand and stopped a taxi.

"Sir, I want to go..." He couldn't continue what he wanted to say as he realized one crucial detail. Bobby was stunned. He didn't know which sanatorium Charles and Nancy were in.
