Substitute Bride and Her Husband Who Disappeared

Chapter 119 Why The Sudden Cold Shoulder Today

Even though he was puzzled, he could only respond to "Vivian"'s beaming face with a smile of his own. "Alright, do your best but there's no need to rush. You don't have much screen time today. Stick with Matthew Turner and learn from him. When your turn comes, I'll

have someone notify you in advance."

"Thank you."

After bidding the assistant director goodbye, Nancy began her learning journey with Matthew.

One of her regrets had been not being able to attend a proper boxing class due to her busy schedule, so having a professional instructor like Matthew was a dream come true.

Seeing her enthusiasm, Matthew devoted himself to teaching her.

Suddenly, the set became lively. Nancy looked around and was surprised to see Charlie on the set!

However, she didn't join the crowd but continued to focus on her training with Matthew.

The clever Director Grant knew Charlie was there to see Vivian filming, so he had the assistant director call Nancy over as soon as Sophia's scenes were done.

"Vivi..."

Charlie, not too far behind, heard Director Grant's intentionally loud voice. "It's your first time acting and there might be things you're unsure about. Let me explain the script to you before we shoot your scenes." Nancy smiled and nodded, "Thank you, Director Grant."

"What are you thanking me for?" Director Grant said with a smile, "Isn't it my duty?"

Nancy laughed and didn't add any unnecessary comments, but started learning from Director Grant.

Even for a novice like her, Director Grant's experienced guidance quickly helped her understand how to manage emotions and other acting techniques. Thankfully, Vivian's role as an icy female- assassin didn't require much facial

as long as

she didn't smile.

After Director Grant's instructions, they began filming.

Nancy's learning ability was exceptional; not only were her action scenes remarkable, she also completed her scenes quickly.

Director Grant couldn't help but give

her a thumbs up, "Vivi, you're doing great. Your kick was absolutely beautiful, and you didn't look stiff at all. You don't seem like a newbie."

Nancy graciously replied, "That's because Director Grant is a good teacher."

Director Grant laughed heartily before turning to Charlie, "Young Master Firth, Vivian's scenes are done. You can take her away now."

"Thank you, Director Grant. I'll take Vivi home now," Charlie stood up and walked over.

With a jovial wave, Director Grant bid them farewell, "Off you go, Vivi. Have a good rest."

Nancy glanced at Charlie, pointing to the side, "Wait for me here. I need to use the restroom."

"Sure."

Charlie was confident that Nancy wouldn't face any danger on set, and without Vivian around, no one would bully her.

The restroom was a fair distance away, and it took Nancy over 10 minutes to get there.

Upon exiting, she was met with a tall figure looming over her. Instinctively, she stepped back.

The man missed his mark and

looked at her with interest, "The pianist who threw herself at me last night, why the sudden cold shoulder today?"
