Spoiled by the Silver Fox

Chapter 279

When Maddie heard Putnam complimenting Stephanie, she happily looked at Stephanie and said, "I also think Steph's cooking is delicious... If you have time later, teach me, I'm really interested in cooking!" Stephanie and Gillian smiled at each other, thought:

Everyone knows what you're up to!

Are you really interested in cooking? Or are you just interested in Putnam?

Putnam understood, but he didn't want to say anything... He just wanted to quietly have his soup, hoping that a few more sips would calm him down.

After eating and drinking, Putnam felt much better and went to the yard to let his dog, Cooper, out to play.

Maddie's family also had a pet dog, so she wasn't afraid of dogs.

She happily ran over and accompanied Putnam in taking their dog for a walk... while continuing to find topics to chat about.

Eventually, the conversation turned into: "Mr. Damon, do you care about girl's plastic surgery?"

Putnam calmly replied, "It's a personal choice; I don't really have a preference."

"But don't you think the face looks weird after plastic surgery...?"

"I don't know many people who've had plastic surgery."

"Well, I did. It's pretty obvious... If you look closely, it's easy to see."

Putnam was the first person Maddie had ever directly told about her plastic surgery, asking him to take a closer look.

Most women who had plastic surgery hated it when people pointed it out, hoping no one would notice.

This girl is brave.

He replied indifferently, "Doesn't matter. We don't see each other often."

"But what if we do have more chances to see each other later on...?"

Where would those chances come from?

He would never give her that opportunity!

It wasn't that he despised the plastic surgery; he just didn't have those kinds of thoughts.

Falling in love can easily turn people into fools.

Janetta was a fool he had witnessed for over a decade!

Cyrus recently appeared many times as well.

Sebastian began turning into a fool...

And then there was Jeffrey, who had been in pain for several years... all of which he had watched happen firsthand.

He never wanted to become like them!

In short, women are terrifying!

Putnam didn't answer this question. Maddie felt a bit disappointed and said, "You still look down on plastic surgery, so you hate me."

Putnam took a deep breath and said, "Ms. Palmer, you misunderstood

just don't plan on having a girlfriend; it's not about hating anyone

OUMS

"Then you don't hate me!" Maddie immediately said, her face full of excitement.

Putnam was speechless. He wanted to take back what he just said.

No, I hated you!

Can we start over our conversation?

"I knew you were different from those superficial people. The true beauty of a person's soul, like Steph's.. became friends with her because I admire how protective she is of Gillian. I wish I had a friend like that too... Of course, I would also protect her! That's why we are so close now."

"Your friendship is good."

"Yes! But now I'm so envious of Steph, not just her beautiful friendship, but also her wonderful love life!"

Putnam seriously warned her, "You're still young; you should focus more on your career development."

"But my family is already very wealthy' I don't need to work so hard..."

"The money at home belongs to your parents, not what you earned yourself... Only the wealth you earn yourself has meaning."

"Is that so? But my dad said he will earn enough money for me to spend my entire life while he's alive..."

Putnam sarcastically said, "While

he's alive? Who can predict life and

death? You should rely on yourself... Ever parents can't be depended on for a lifetime."
