Spoiled by the Silver Fox

Chapter 194

Stephanie and Gillian's hearts raced, but they forced themselves to make eye contact with her without looking away.

"Hi Ms. Gracie, I'm Stephanie."

"I'm Gillian."

Gracie said nonchalantly, "Sit down and talk."

Martin smiled and said, "Ms. Gracie, what can I get you to drink?"

"Black coffee with milk, please."

Martin immediately called over a waiter from the cafe.

Gillian and Stephanie sat down as requested. Gracie's gaze still lingered on their faces, making them quite uncomfortable.

Stephanie sneakily used her peripheral vision to size up Gracie.

Gracie was a woman in her forties who dressed fashionably and had a strong presence. Her looks were average and she wore heavy makeup, with bright red lipstick. She seemed alert and authoritative.

People who exuded an air of superiority were either top executives like Sebastian or strong, capable women like Gracie.

To be honest, Stephanie admired such strong women.

If only her mother Marilyn and teacher Ashley Morris had the strength of someone like Gracie, they wouldn't have ended up where they are now.

She hoped to become as strong as Gracie one day to protect the people she loved.

She felt like she could never be strong as long as she relied on Silver Fox.

"Stephanie, right?" Gracie suddenly asked, looking at her.

Stephanie straightened up and said, "Yes."

"You know Cyrus Damon, right?"

Why bring up Cyrus?

Stephanie was a bit dazed but nodded, "Yes, I know him."

Gracie's mouth curled into a

mocking smile, "Cyrus is my boss now. Since you guys scheduled a meeting with me today, I'll be straightforward. All the talents I've brought up were carefully chosen by me personally.

I've encountered situations like yours before, but I've never made an exception!

But Cyrus is my boss now, and I'm willing to listen to him. So Ms. Bishop, my boss says, you should become our company's talent, and I'll take your friend onboard as well. Otherwise, no matter how much you pay me, I won't work with you two!"

Gracie knew that since Martin brought Stephanie personally, the people behind her wouldn't let her sign with another company.

She wouldn't make an exception before, and she certainly wouldn't now.

Just as she finished speaking, a waiter brought her coffee. She took it and took a sip.

Hearing this, Martin frowned, "Ms. Gracie, you should be very clear about our CEO's intentions."

"Sorry, but you work for your company's CEO, and I work for my company's boss. Martin, you should have done your research before

coming. You know what kind of ne

person I am. There's no room for negotiation on this matter." Gracie's face remained indifferent,

Instantly, Martin's face clouded over.

It would be different if it were someone else, but this was the future wife of their company's CEO. How could they tolerate being threatened and mocked by a mere agent?

Besides, if Martin couldn't handle this matter today, he wouldn't be able to explain it to Sebastian. Just then, Stephanie spoke up, "Ms. Gracie, can I call your boss and discuss this with him?"
