Spoiled by the Silver Fox

Chapter 175

Sebastian went back to his room and changed into a comfy navy blue pajama set, then came downstairs wearing slippers into the dining room.

Stephanie's soup and salad were already at his seat. Seeing him arrive, she eagerly said, "Silver Fox, I made these all by myself! Hurry up and give them a try." Sebastian didn't even look at her and started eating immediately.

After a few spoonful of soup, he finally said, "So, you made all of these by yourself?"

"Yeah! Judith helped me out."

"Oh, impressive. It tastes exactly like Judith's cooking."

Judith and Stephanie both felt a little awkward. Geez, was he really able to tell by taste?

"Stephanie, learned how to lie, have you?"

Stephanie guiltily lowered her head and said, "Silver Fox, I just wanted to show you my sincerity in admitting my mistake."

Judith also said, "Mr. Ingram, don't blame Steph. It was my idea to help her."

Stephanie quickly shook her head, "No, no, Judith didn't say anything, it was all my idea."

"Steph, don't say that."

"Judith, I know you mean well, but I've got to own up to what I've done."

So, now you're on each other's side against me?

Sebastian couldn't help but laugh at the scene before him. He said calmly, "Alright, let's eat."

"Um, Silver Fox, you're not mad at me anymore?"

"Stephanie, did you come here today just to make this meal, or for something else?"

Sebastian's attitude had been bad from the start. What was up with him today? Did he eat a ticking bomb or something?

Stephanie's words got stuck in her throat because of his attitude.

Fine, better not to poke the bear.

She could just use the money in her account to hire a temporary assistant for her and Gillian, and that should get them by. As for Ashley's situation, they could deal with that later.

Stephanie didn't say anything but sat down at the dining table, bowing her head and holding the chopsticks. After taking a bite of the food, she responded with only a nonchalant "Mhm" and then remained silent throughout the meal.

Judith watched with sympathy and silently glanced at Sebastian.

This little fox, did she think he will feel bad for her this way? But after they finished eating, Stephanie didn't say a word. She just started cleaning up the dishes with Judith.

Sebastian just continued eating without responding.

Seeing her working with her head down and being not as lively as before, Judith felt bad for her and asked, "Steph, are you ok?"

Stephanie shook her head and bitterly said, "Judith, I'm fine. It's just that life is tough, especially for ordinary people like us. We always have to rely on others and watch their faces when doing things."

Judith sighed, "Yeah. Mr. Ingram should be spoiling you since he's older, but instead, he's giving you a hard time! No wonder Mr. Ingram despite being so handsome and the heir of the family, never had a girlfriend. With that bad

temperament, which woman would

want to be with him?

Stephanie forced a smile, "It's my fault. I got caught up with my studies and missed the weekend when I promised to come over to cook and take etiquette classes. I didn't even call to let him know. So, it's not Silver Fox's fault."
