Chapter 79 

AUTHOR’S POV 

Claudia was able to take a strand of Maliya hair successfully without gaining her attention under the pretense of washing her hair. 

“Ouch!” Maliya winced the moment she pulled out the hair and her heart skipped a beat for a second. She wondered if she had got caught and immediately asked Maliya what was going on. 

“Is something wrong?” She feigned innocence and Maliya shrugged it off. 

“It’s nothing,” she assured Claudia despite the pain she was feeling in her hair. Claudia finished washing her hair as fast as she could so that she could excuse herself. 

“Do you mind styling my hair for me?” Maliya asked as she was already sitting down in front of the mirror. 

Claudia looked between the hair she was hiding behind her back and Maliya and she knew there was no way she could stay there any longer. 

“I’m sorry, but I need to get back to work,” she apologized as she lied as she thought of ways to get out of there. 

“There is nothing much to do anyway, why don’t you stay a little longer?” Maliya asked, already feeling lonely because she has no one else to speak to, but Claudia was determined to leave. 

“I still have a lot of cleaning to do and you should remember that the other maids need help too. As much as I’d love to stay here and spend a little time with you, It is also my responsibility to take care of others too.” She lied. 

Maliya felt bad for trying to delay Claudia and eventually nodded reluctantly. 

“I’ll come back as soon as I am free,” Claudia assured Maliya before leaving the room and Maliya sighed as she was left all by herself once again. 

Claudia looked around the hallway carefully, making sure that no one was in sight as she carefully crawled out of the house. 

She went into the cave where her mistress was and bowed to show her respect immediately. 

“I’m here, Mistress. Forgive me for taking too long, I had to wait for the perfect timing before I could make a move,” she explained to Sabrina. 

Sabrina who has been sitting all along looked down on Claudia from where she was kneeling down. 

She had been waiting for so long for Claudia to show up and now that she was finally there, she was only interested in one thing. 

“Do you have it? I had expected you to be here at least a couple of days ago. Your excuses are none of my concern which we are both aware of,” Sabrina pointed with a frown before she continued. 

“Did you do as you were told?” Sabrina asked again and Claudia nodded her head frantically without raising her head up. 

She knew that her mistress was hot headed and a wrong reaction from her could get her into trouble, hence, she just waited for her to ask questions before she began to speak. 

“What is keeping quiet? She frowned. Didn’t I ask a question?” Sabrina furrowed her eyes and Claudia hesitated for a while. 

“Y–yes ma’am. I was able to take a strand of her hair and I left the palace immediately to give it to you as soon as I got it,” She said with her head hung low and Sabrina burst out laughing. 

“You did?” She asked with excitement in her voice. 

“Yes, ma’am,” Claudia confirmed and she grinned. 

“I have always known you were capable of this task. I’m so proud of you,” she said with a proud grin and Claudia inhaled a breath of relief. 

“You did a good job, I’m so proud of you,” she grinned. “Stand up, stand up,” she ordered, and Claudia went to give her the hair she took while washing Malia’s hair. 

A huge smile spread across Sabrina’s face as she took the hair from Claudia and Alpha Luxwell who had been tired to a chair couldn’t help but look at them in disbelief. 

Sabrina didn’t miss the look on Alpha Luxwell’s face and she turned to face him with a smirk. 

“What? Do you have something to say?” She mocked him but Alpha Luxwell’s curiosity had taken over him and was more concerned with what they planned doing with the hair than Sabrina taunting him.

“You want to know what I intend to do with the hair?” Sabrina laughed as she looked at Alpha Luxwell’s curious face. “Well, you will have to find out,” she grinned and he watched her wearily. 

Sabrina waved the hair in the hair and a huge smile spread across her face as she felt accomplished. Alpha Luxwell couldn’t help but think something was up as he kept on staring at her and since Sabrina was super excited about the hair too, she decided to tell him what it was for. 

“Ask questions if you have, stop glaring at me,” she rolled her eyes. 

“What do you plan on doing with that hair?” Alpha Luxwell asked again. 

“You see this hair here, it is all I need to ruin the almighty Alpha Xander and bring him to his ruins,” she grinned. 

Alpha Luxwell seemed to be confused by this news and he couldn’t help but wonder how a hair that doesn’t even belong to Alpha Xander could cause his ruin. 

“How do you intend to do that?” He frowned and Sabrina burst out laughing once again. 

“What do you think?” She chuckled. “I am going to use this hair against him. How right?” She looked at Alpha Luxwell and smiled. “The hair belongs to the woman carrying his child. He is meant to be an impotent and I am going to ensure he remains one until he meets his dismissal,” she grinned. 

“I’d make sure that the woman never gives birth and of course, I will use her as a force against him too. Once I am done with him he will regret ever rising to his position or claiming to be the Alpha of Alphas where I stand,” she burst out laughing again and Alpha Luxwell looked at her in disbelief. 

“What do you intend to gain in all of this?” He asked, still stunned about how such a young girl can be so evil. 

“The less you know, the better for you,” she hummed to herself as she danced her way out.
