Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 31
Chapter 31
Chapter 31
When she said this, it was as if Matthew had carried Victoria to the hospital just to give her face.
Victoria looked at the man who had suddenly appeared and her expression changed slightly.
But she did not say anything and only frowned slightly.
It was unknown when Matthew had come, or how much he had heard from their conversation just now.
He just stood there without saying anything.
Victoria looked in his direction.
The man leaned slightly against a stone pillar at the side. He was tall and slender. His fine black hair cast a faint silhouette, making his eyebrows look deeper and deeper.
He was handsome and outstanding, and coupled with his tall figure that was as tall as a model, he attracted many people who came for the interview.
There were both men and women.
Matthew was already used to those gazes and was immune to them. He only looked at Victoria slightly.
There was no fluctuation or any warmth.
The two of them looked at each other like this, and no one could see the emotions in each other’s eyes.
Anya held his arm, inexplicably feeling that there was an aura between him and Victoria that no one else could get in.
She pursed her lips and felt a sense of crisis. She quickly shook his hand and said coquettishly, “Mr. Shadwell, although Victoria is my sister, she has always misunderstood me… She doesn’t seem to like me that much, but she is my sister. Let’s just ignore her, okay?”
Hearing this, Victoria twitched the corner of her mouth, “Anya, your thick skin is really amazing.”
“Victoria!” Anya was a little annoyed. Just as she was about to flare up, she remembered that Matthew was still by her side and could only give up.
She wrapped her arm around his arm in a wronged manner. “Mr. Shadwell,” she said reproachfully.
“Apologize to Anya,” the man said, looking at Victoria indifferently.
“I’m not wrong, why should I apologize?” Victoria clenched her fists.
Her nails dug deep into her flesh, yet the pain was not as intense as the pain in her heart.
Even when she saw Matthew with other women with her own eyes, she had never felt such pain.
She knew that Matthew had misunderstood her, and she also knew that he hated her now:
So no matter how many women he has around him, no matter how bad he is to her, Victoria still holds the last glimmer of hope…
But Anya is different….
Whenever Anya is around, Victoria is overwhelmed with despair, pain, and a deep–seated revulsion.
She doesn’t know how long she can last.
She only knew that every time she saw Matthew and Anya, her love for him would decrease a little.
One day, she would not be able to hold on any longer…
“I’m not discussing this with you.”
The man’s voice was very cold, but there was a sense of oppression that could not be interfered with. “Victoria, I will say it one last time. Apologize.”
“If I don’t apologize, how will Mr. Shadwell deal with me?” Victoria looked at him stubbornly.
Matthew looked at her indifferently.
“You want to participate in a variety show?” he asked as his gaze fell on the poster behind her.
Victoria’s expression changed. She bit her lower lip and did not speak.
Matthew continued, “Are you here for an interview today? How do you feel about your performance?”
“Matthew, are you threatening me?” Victoria asked with an extremely ugly expression.
“It’s not a threat. No producer dares to use someone I don’t like.”
Chapter 31
“After all, you are not irreplaceable.” Matthew’s gaze swept across her and suddenly turned bone–piercingly cold.
Victoria understood what he meant.
He didn’t just say that she could be replaced in this interview –
He seemed more to say that she could be replaced in his heart.
