Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 22
Chapter 22
Chester Community
Victoria did not sleep the whole night. When she woke up, Matthew was no longer in the villa.
Last night, the two parted unhappily. Thinking of how he hated her before he left, Victoria suddenly felt a little anxious and tired.
She did not know how long she could hold on.
Especially after finding out that Matthew was likely to never forgive her again….
She wanted to tell him the truth.
She wanted to.
But she couldn’t…
Before she made her decision, Victoria had already mentally prepared herself.
She chose to hide everything for Matthew and bear everything. Even if she had to bear his anger and hatred, she had to protect him.
She could only gamble that he would think of the past….
But if he still couldn’t forgive her in the end, she might… only be able to leave him.
Victoria heaved a sigh of relief, looking a little disappointed.
She really… couldn’t bear to part with him.
Fortunately, it was the weekend, so Victoria didn’t have to rush back to school.
This place was also very close to A University, so she simply sized up this villa.
Three years ago, Matthew had said that he would buy her a small villa here as their wedding room.
After an accident, he never mentioned this matter again.
Victoria thought that he had long forgotten.
Unexpectedly, he still bought it in the end.
The villa was a two–story structure with a large garden. There were swimming pools and roof.
Victoria strolled around and found that the furnishings in the room were very simple.
There was only a master bedroom and children’s room. The rest were all functional rooms, such as the study, gym, and shadow room.
There was no second bedroom.
Victoria’s eyes suddenly turned a little red.
She remembered that she had told Matthew a long time ago that she wanted to have a home in the future. There were only the two of them. The house was not too big. It was enough for them to live with the children.
Perhaps this was the home he gave her?
That was why he had brought her here last night.
Suddenly, the phone rang-
Victoria’s thoughts were interrupted. She picked up the phone and heard Sarah’s voice from the other end.
“Victoria, you’re awake? Where are you now?”
Victoria walked to the small garden outside and sat down on the swing. She replied, “I’m at Chester Community”
“You drank too much last night. I asked Matthew to send you back first.”
“Yes, I know.”
She vaguely had some memories, but she could not remember them clearly.
When Sarah heard that she was fine, she heaved a sigh of relief. “It’s good that you’re fine…”
“Why do you think I’m fine?” Victoria found it funny
Sarah said, “You don’t know! Yesterday. Matthew was so scary! Jax was almost beaten to death by him!”
“… Ah?”
“Why did he hit Jax?” Victoria had no impression of this.

“What are you talking about? Isn’t it just seeing you drunk in the bar and being supported by a man? He must be anxious!”
Sarah smiled and said, “Victoria, you should really have seen how he was like last night!”
“Is Jax alright?”
“Don’t fret. I won’t be unjust to my subordinates. I informed him of his work injury and gave him ample mental damage compensation, Jax is aware that it was a misunderstanding!”
Victoria did not speak.
A moment later, she lowered her eyes and suddenly asked softly, “Sarah, do you think he is concerned about me?”
“Of course!” Sarah said without thinking. “He seems to be quite worried about you. Victoria, I think there are too many misunderstandings between the two of you. Can you really not tell him about your matter?”
“Let me try again,” Victoria said as she clenched her phone tightly.
