Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 15
Chapter 15
Seeing her like this, Sarah’s expression softened.
She knew full well about Victoria’s personality. Ever since her mother passed away, Victoria had changed from that carefree little Princess to the person she was now, and she would endure everything.
But her enthusiasm had never changed.
Sarah sighed, still feeling that she was too useless.
She pinched her face and said, “That Matthew is so bad to you. Why are you still guarding him?”
She commanded the man beside her, “Jax, take her out first. I’ll drive to the car park and meet you outside the bar!”
“Okay, miss.”
Jax looked delicate and pretty, a shy little handsome boy with a well–toned figure and muscles all over his body.
Sarah Scott’s family was very wealthy, though not seen as legitimately so.
The circle called the Scott family nothing more than nouveau riche.
However, in order to become a nouveau riche, one had to be wealthy enough, and when Sarah went out, she was accompanied by several bodyguards, leaving others with no choice but to keep their opinions to themselves.
Jax helped Victoria out of the door and waited for Sarah at the entrance of the bar.
He had already tried his best to use a gentleman’s hand and not touch Victoria’s key part.
Her alcohol tolerance was low, so when people got drunk, they were like jelly and it was hard to keep them upright.
Jax could only half circle her and lower his head to pay attention to her condition.
A black car sped past the bar –
After a while, it turned back.
The man in the car was handsome and steady, and his profile was so delicate that it was hard to ignore in the night.
He put his hand on a steering wheel, his long fingers tapping lightly as he looked indifferently in the direction of the door.
After a long time, Matthew lit a cigarette.
He puffed out a puff of smoke and snorted as he watched the drunken Victoria pull at the pretty boy.
The spark on his fingertips suddenly extinguished, burning away the redness in his eyes.
He stepped on the accelerator and went straight for the two people –
“Boom!”
A loud engine sound rang out, resounding through several streets.
A Camphor tree under the stage shook its branches and a few yellow leaves floated down.
A dazzling light shone over.
Jax only thought that it was some rich man showing off a car, and could not help but sigh, “So rich…”
He did not know how many years of work it would take before he could afford a single wheel.
The sound of the frying oil was low and had a texture, and it was easy to tell that it was the kind of expensive luxury car with a dazzling light that made people unable to open their eyes.
But he gradually found that something was wrong.
He thought that car was going to turn around, but it seemed to be coming for them, and it was getting closer and closer!
Jax’s expression changed drastically. His first reaction was to curse, “F*ck him! He must be crazy!”
He hurriedly dragged Victoria up and pulled her to the side to hide. “Stop, there’s someone here!” He gestured.
He wouldn’t think that others were doing it on purpose. He just thought that some rich man had drunk too much.
It was good to be rich! Just casually driving a car and driving a luxury car, and you could go crazy everywhere?
Hadn’t he noticed that there were still two people here? If this pace were to suddenly come to a halt, would he and Victoria still be able to survive?
Jax scrambled to avoid it, almost rolling and crawling
The car was hurtling towards him, not slowing down even slightly, seemingly accelerating!
Jax couldn’t help but utter a word, his mind completely blank.
Chapter 15
Perhaps he had reached a near–death limit, his back was covered in cold sweat, and his hair stood on end.
The fear of death at that moment made him lose his composure, almost s cared to the point that his legs went soft, and his face was so pale that it
twisted-
“Ah!”
