Chapter 14
Chapter 14
Five
Eric grunts in response to Logan’s words. I cannot help but snap my head to look at him. What’s that supposed to mean? Does he not want to take me home? What kind of person doesn’t want to take their mate home?
I look at the twins again and mentally curse the mate bond for making them look so ridiculously attractive in my eyes. Not that they weren’t always magnificent. There is a reason they are popular in the pack that goes beyond them being Alphas–they are also drop–dead gorgeous.
Truthfully, I was always drawn to them. That’s why I had sex with them in the first place, but now that my wolf has awakened, I feel more brave and bold. I’m not as weak as I was. There is power coursing through my veins, and I won’t let myself be stepped on. Things are about to change!
“I’m sorry, Five,” Eric says, his voice tight. “For calling you a piece of meat…I just…” He scratches the back of his head, and for once, he actually looks regretful. “I’m very bad with emotions, okay?”
I blink in surprise. Is he actually being…sincere?
“You’re actually apologizing to me?” I ask, my voice shaking from shock.
“I am,” Eric flares his nostrils, still appearing tough even though there is a softer look in hist
eyes. “I’m sorry for how I’ve been treating you. I can see now that I was acting like an asshole because I was threatened by you.”
“Threatened by me?” I blink in confusion, not really following what he means.
“Yeah…” Eric averts his eyes and blushes slightly, it’s odd seeing him with a reddening face

when it’s not from anger. “I didn’t want to accept the fact that you were my fated mate. I found you weak, but I’m trying to look past that now. It’s not easy when you were raised to value strength and power, you know? Our dad is…very hard on us.”
His words make me remember that night when I heard their father slap them. From that incident alone I can tell that their father and the former Alpha of the pack isn’t a nice person. But that still doesn’t mean Eric can treat me like I’m crap. He needs to be better
than his father.
I narrow my eyes at him, not wanting to let him off the hook so easily. “So, what? You’re just going to change your behavior, and everything is supposed to be okay?”
Eric shakes his head. “No, I know it’s not that simple. But I’m willing to try. I want to make things right with you, Five. I want us to have a good relationship.”
I snort, still not entirely convinced. “And what about your pack? Your father? Will they
accept me?”
Eric’s expression turns serious. “I won’t let anyone hurt you. I’ll protect you, Five. And as for the pack…I’ll make them see that you’re a valuable member. That you belong here
with us.”
I’m not sure if I can trust him completely yet, but his words do make me feel more secure. Maybe he really is trying to change for the better. Maybe he can be the mate I have always wanted…well, the second mate in my life since Logan is also my fated mate.
“Okay,” I say finally, nodding. “We can try to make this work.”
Eric gives me a small smile, one that seems genuine for once. “Thank you, Five. That’s all I
can ask for.”
“But that’s not all,” I say. “Things will have to change when we get home. I no longer want to be your slave, and I want to bond with the two of you. You can have separate days.

O
Tomorrow Logan will take me to campus and make sure I feel safe and secure. And the day after that, Eric will do the honor. Then we go from there.”
The twins exchange a look, shrug at each other, and then say, “Alright,” in unison.
“Great, you got yourselves a deal then.”
As we continue our journey back to the pack, I can’t help but feel a sense of cautious optimism. Since the twins agreed with my
terms, it seems like things might actually work out between us. I glance over at Eric, who’s deep in thought, and wonder what’s going through his mind. Does he really want to change, or is he just saying what I want to hear?
Suddenly, Eric’s phone rings, interrupting my thoughts. He answers it, and from the way his expression changes, I can tell it’s not good news.
“What is it?” Logan asks, sensing the tension in the air.
Eric looks at Logan, his eyes dark with anger. “It’s our father. He has been attacked by
rogues.”
My heart sinks at the news, knowing how important their father is to the pack even though he is a horrible person.
“Is he okay?” I ask, wanting to know more details.
“He’s alive,” Eric says through gritted teeth. “But barely. We need to get back to the pack and help defend it from any more rogue attacks.”
Logan nods, understanding the seriousness of the situation. “We’ll need to get everyone. prepared for battle. And we’ll need to make sure the territory is secure before we can bring Five back to the pack.”

I nod in agreement, knowing my safety is not the most important thing right now. “I understand. Let’s help your pack first.”
As we near the pack’s territory, the tension in the air is palpable. We can hear the roars and snarls of the pack fighting off the rogue attack. When we arrive, we see the devastation caused by the rogues. Buildings are on fire, and there are wounded pack members lying on the ground.
Eric and Logan immediately jump into action, joining the pack in the fight against the rogues. I stand back, unsure of what to do. But then I see a rogue heading towards a wounded pack member, and I know I can’t just stand by and watch.
I shift into my wolf form and charge toward the rogue, taking it by surprise. We both tumble to the ground, snarling and snapping at each other. But I am faster and stronger, and I manage to take the rogue down.
As I stand over the rogue, panting and growling, I realize that I am not just a valuable member of this pack. I am a force to be reckoned with. I am a fighter, a protector, and a warrior. And as I look around, I see the pack members looking at me with newfound respect and admiration.
I shift back into my human form and join the fight alongside Eric and Logan. Together, we make a formidable team, taking down rogue after rogue. It’s a brutal fight, but we never lose sight of our goal: to protect the pack and bring their father back safely.
Finally, the last of the rogues are defeated, and we are able to bring Five back to the pack.
He is badly injured but still alive, thanks to the quick actions of the pack’s healers.
As we gather around a fire created by the pack healer, Eric takes charge. “We need to
strengthen our defenses,” he says, his tone firm. “We can’t let this happen again.”
Logan nods in agreement. “And we need to find out who is behind this. No rogue would attack us without a reason.”

I add my own thoughts. “Maybe it’s time we reach out to other packs for help. We can’t. fight this war alone.”
The twins look at me with amused faces, and I blush. I have no idea why they are looking at me like that. “What?” I ask. “Aren’t I allowed to voice my thoughts?”
“No, it’s not that,” Logan says in a teasing tone, taking a step closer to place a hand on my shoulder. “It’s just that you said, ‘we‘ as if the pack is also yours.”
My face grows brighter, and my heart races when Eric hugs me from behind. “Maybe you will make a great Luna after all. I will admit I had my doubts, but you were awesome on the battlefield today, Five.”
My heart skips a beat as Eric’s arms wrap around me, and I can’t help but lean into his embrace. “Thank you,” I say, my voice barely above a whisper. “I just did what I had to do
to protect the pack.”
Logan chuckles, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “Don’t be so modest, Five. You were incredible out there. I’ve never seen anyone take down a rogue like that before.”
I blush, feeling a surge of pride and gratitude. I’ve always felt like an outsider in the pack, but now, I finally feel like I belong.
“T–thank you.”
Both of the twins grin at me. They are gorgeous, but I don’t want to jump into bed with them so soon and step away from Eric. He lets me, which says a lot. He could easily keep hugging me to his muscular body, but he respects my wishes enough to let me go. I appreciate that.
Perhaps he can change?
As we sit around the fire, discussing our next moves and strategizing for the future, I can’t

help but feel a sense of excitement and determination. We may have won this battle, but the war is far from over. And I’m ready to fight, to protect my pack and the people I care about.
As the night wears on and the fire dwindles down to embers, I realize something else. I’m not just a fighter or a protector. I’m also a woman with desires and needs that go beyond the battlefield.
And as I steal a glance at Eric, our eyes meeting briefly before he looks away, I know that I want him. I also want his brother. Fuck I want them both more than anything I’ve ever wanted before.
But I also know that now is not the time for romance or distractions. We have a job to do, a pack to protect. And I’m more than willing to put my own desires aside for the greater good.
For now.
But after we have figured things out, I want the twins to share me in their bed again. I want to be taken again and again.
As the night keeps getting colder, we make a decision to return to the mansion. I walk up the stairs, headed for my own room. The twins don’t try to stop me. I need to be away from them, but when I’m naked and alone on top of my mattress, no one can save me from my thoughts.
I can’t stop thinking about Eric and Logan. I can feel the pulsing between my thighs getting stronger with every beat of my heart. I close my eyes and take a deep breath, trying to regain my composure.
But my hands won’t stop shaking.
I can’t stop thinking about Eric’s strong arms around me or Logan’s piercing gaze. I want

them both more than anything. And I know that they want me too.
As I lie there, my mind racing, I make a split decision to trail my hands further south and rub my clit while thinking about the twins. I can’t stop thinking about them.
About Eric’s hard–on pressing against my ass or Logan’s mouth against my neck.
And as my fingers slide further down, running over my folds softly, I realize that I’m already wet.
My pussy is pulsing with desire, and I can’t help myself. I keep on rubbing, pressing my fingers against my most sensitive spot, ready to come.
I moan softly when I finally touch myself in the right spot. It feels so good, but I need more. I need something more than my sweet spot, my fingers, my imagination.
I need these two gorgeous men inside of me.
I want them both to fuck me.
I want to be claimed by the two most perfect men I have ever met. I want to be their
woman.
As I climax, my whole body shaking and trembling, I can’t help but realize that the twins are the only men I want. They are the only men I need. They are my fated mates, whether I want them or not.
