I deliberately leaked the hotel I was staying at to Mia, and sure enough, she couldn't wait to come and mock me.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Ethan's ex-wife? Why do you look so lost and dejected?"

Mia covered her mouth and giggled, just like when she tossed those red bills to my father.

"Slap!"

I stepped forward and gave her four hard slaps across the face.

I had wanted to do this in my previous life, but I had no physical form then.

Mia's face visibly swelled up, and she pointed at me trembling, "Ava, you dare to hit me!"

"What? You dared to be the other woman, didn't you ever think you might get hit one day?"

I taunted her, preparing to teach her another lesson.

Just as I raised my hand, Ethan, who had rushed over, caught my wrist.

I shook off his hand, "Disgusting!"

"Mia isn't the other woman! If it weren't for you looking like Mia, do you think I would have married you?!"

Although I had already known about being a substitute when I was floating by his side, hearing him say it out loud still disgusted me.

"Ethan, you're really disgusting!"

"Since you originally wanted to marry her, now that you're single, why haven't you married her yet?"

I went straight into mockery mode, "Don't tell me some people are just deliberately disgusting others because they can't marry their true love?"

Ethan was furious, his fists clenching and unclenching.

"What? Did I hit the nail on the head? Feeling ashamed and angry?"

I admit, I was deliberately provoking him.

Mia, who had been protected behind Ethan, couldn't help but jump out, "That's not true, Ethan and I were forced apart for reasons back then! Now Ethan has already proposed to me, and we'll be getting married soon!" Ethan looked at Mia in surprise, then hugged her with joy.

As far as I knew, Ethan had indeed proposed a couple of days ago, but Mia hadn't agreed at the time. Now she suddenly came out to make a statement.
