Salute To The General

Chapter 236 You Are Really Vain

Chapter 236 You Are Really Vain

Wolfe Torres was quite famous in the army at one point, and was even made colonel at the young age

of thirty five, which was quite a remarkable feat for a regular person.

Unfortunately, his private affairs were a mess in comparison to his glittering report card.

Drinking, gambling, and womanizing were his forte.

When he was thirty-six, he had gotten into trouble because of drinking and was demoted from the

frontline to the backup troops where he managed the lowest ranking soldiers.

However, in less than two years, he got into trouble once again because of women.

This time, he was expelled immediately!

However, even though he was expelled, he became very close with the Russo family throughout his

two years in the Armed Forces.

Therefore, after being expelled, he worked for the Russo family as their subordinate.

Giovanni was overjoyed to see Wolfe coming to his rescue.

Normally, he addressed him as just Torres, but this time, he actually cried out in joy, "Uncle Torres, you

are here in time! Someone here is banking on their support from a North army officer and says that

they want to kill Mr. Zabinski and I. Please save us!"

Wolfe barged in with his men and looked at everyone as he snorted, "I would like to see who is the

arrogant twat who dares to claim that he going for Mr. Zabinski and Mr. Russo's lives! In fact, I want to

see who is this army officer that is supporting him!"

Jerry and Giovanni were both overjoyed to hear his thunderous declaration.

Wolfe used to be known as the Army King, and it should take him very little effort to take down Nathan

Cross.

Wolfe used to be a colonel at the North, and apparently it was the Northern Marshal himself who had

nominated him.

Even though Wolfe was not in the army anymore, he still had a certain level of influence within the

troops. So, even Colin would have to accord him some respect.

Giovanni and Jerry felt that there was hope with Wolfe's appearance.

In fact, he might even be able to kill Nathan Cross. Both of them were so ecstatic they could sing out

loud.

Giovanni pointed at Colin triumphantly and said loudly, "Uncle Torres, he is the one who has been

protecting Nathan Cross. You have to settle him today no matter what."

Wolfe looked towards the direction that Giovanni was pointing at and his gaze fell on Colin.

His eyes widened immediately and the arrogant expression on his face was instantly replaced by a

surprised look as he croaked, "Captain Dunne, it's you!"

Colin sniggered, "Wolfe Torres, I haven't seen you for a few years but look at you. You are doing very

well, aren't you?”

If Wolfe could be likened to a fierce wolf earlier, he was now an eagerly obedient dog in front of Colin.

With perspiration dripping off his head, he grinned and said, "Of course not. How would I dare to show

off in front of you? Dunne, I am sure there is a lot of misunderstanding somewhere. For my sake, could

you not engage further with this matter? I'll have the Zabinskis and the Russos send you a huge gift

after this."

Colin sniggered, "I was the one who wrote the report for you to be demoted to a regular soldier when

you committed that huge mistake back then. All I wanted was to leave you with a bit of chance to

redeem yourself and return to the frontline one day. However, I did not expect you to not only fail as a

regular soldier but got yourself expelled as well. And here you are hanging out with the garbage of our

society while trying to bribe me too? For your sake, you say...well, what respect do I have left for you?"

Wolfe broke out in cold sweat, but before he could speak, Colin continued.

Boss? What boss?

Could he be the General's son?

That's not possible. The General is too young to have a son. New chąpter avąilable oո

When he saw Nathan, it was as if he were struck by lightning and he shivered with

fear.

Then, his legs gave way and he kneeled before Nathan Cross.
