Three days had passed in silence without any word from him.

After hanging up, she looked at Jacky and Howard. “Steven is coming over shortly, and he’ll be joining us to head to Murida.”

“Okay, I’ll book the flight tickets right away,” Howard said immediately.

While Howard booked the flight ticket, Jacky turned to Skylar and said, “Before we leave, we need to check in on Mrs. Martin Senior at Pearlhall Residence.

“The news about Joe’s disappearance will undoubtedly attract a lot of attention, and the Martin family might take advantage of this situation. You should be mentally prepared.”

Skylar felt a pang of pain at the mention of Gloria. She worried about whether Gloria’s health could handle this. She needed to see Gloria right away.
