Chapter 940 Gloria Took Action

Ted's words sounded quite reasonable. But as long as he finished, Claude's face turned grey and grave.

"You think there is a problem in my managing this company, don't you?"

After all, as the president, Claude still had a superior position in the company. That was why he dared challenge Ted in public.

People felt that things had grown complicated. Yet Ted still smiled at Claude.

"What I just said is true. Our company has no real competence to operate on its own. If so, the products Gloria designs would only suffer a loss in the sales. And it would bring harm to her reputation. Claude frowned immediately. He gave his staff a look. Then suddenly a man stood out to back him up. He sneered and said, "You are not talking sense. Since Poppy is our own staff, she should contribute to the company without regrets. So we could run the company on our own pretty well. Besides, who knows what the result would be before advertising it? If the sales are bad, is it because of the company's problem or Poppy's own faults?"

Obvious, the man wanted to shift his responsibilities to Gloria.

Gloria sneered. She knew after she made it open to everyone, she would be confronted with such despicable challenges as that. She had already made preparations for it.

However, Ted had told her not to say too much about it that day. He told her that he would tell people what had happened.

Because Ted knew that people would be harsh on Gloria. He didn't want a lady to talk with these people. There was no need for that.

Then, Ted looked at the speaker with a sneer, "I want to ask you whether you want to work with Poppy or not."

This was the key point.

Poppy!

What she can bring to all of us is tremendous profits!

If we cooperate with Poppy, we will get plenty of money!

As long as she can design new products all the time, we can go raking in money. Who wouldn't want it to happen?

Ted wore a faint smile. "I think we should vote on this today. According to Mr. White's old rule, as long as more than half of the people agree, we can start the cooperation. So, first of all, I want to say that I'm happy to work with Gloria."

Yvonne immediately echoed, "I agree too."

"I'm pleased to do so."

"Me too."

"Me too."

One after another, all of them who were standing at Ted's side voted in. However, there were too many of them. Still, Ted would need four more people from Claude 's league to agree so as to win the vote. Ted was not afraid that his opponents wouldn't agree. Instead, he was waiting for them to turn to his side.

This was such a big chunk of cake. Obvious, some people only pretended to support Claude on the surface. Yet in fact, they were merely doing so because Claude was the president and that they might want more profits if they supported Claude. But then, Claude had blocked their way to earn more interest. So, why would they still listen to him?

One person had already started, "I also think that it is a very salutary thing. I agree to work with Gloria."

All the people in Claude's league looked at the person who spoke. They knew that the speaker had flattered Claude most frequently. It really shocked all of them that he became the one who rebelled against Claude the quickest.

As long as he started to voice for himself, those who wanted to work with Gloria felt it irresistible as well.

Only within a few minutes, four more people agreed.

The number of votes who supported the cooperation was more than half.

Gloria smiled. She thought it was what she had expected.

Claude didn't look good. But as things had happened, if he didn't express his opinions, there might be fewer and fewer people supporting him.
