Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson)

Chapter 9

Sabrina was good-looking. Her gossamery long hair scattered behind her back. She had a fair complexion and exquisite features.

Sitting in the front passenger seat of Nelson's car, she dabbed some foundation on the mole on her nose tip to hide it. Then, she put on some red lipstick, which added to her radiance.

He stole a look at her. "Why would you cover it up?"

It took her a while to realize he was talking about the mole.

"It makes me look silly."

He understood what she meant. She was a 26-year-old CEO who should present herself in a respectable way. The mole on her nose tip made her look innocent yet seductive-everything but authoritative.

Nelson shifted his focus back on driving. Sabrina looked out of the window without bothering to initiate a conversation. They sat in comfortable silence throughout the trip.

Still, she felt uneasy having Nelson drive her to a blind date.

Before dinner, she was cooking in the Tucker manor's kitchen when she received a call from Abigail. Shannon answered the call and put it on speaker mode.

Abigail announced, "Hey, Princess, I invited a bunch of young, hot studs to Club Felicity. They're obedient and handsome, best for young sugar mommies like you..." Sabrina froze in shock, while the Tucker family maids were in panic and disbelief.

Shannon was the first to speak. "Okay, Abby. I'll make Nelson drive Brina to the club after dinner."

As Sabrina's car was at the industrial park, Shannon asked Nelson over dinner to drop Sabrina at the club, and he readily agreed to it.

Although Sabrina had agreed to the divorce, she needed time to get over Nelson, whom she had loved for a long time. His indifference to her blind dates pained her heart.

Sabrina politely bid goodbye to Nelson at Club Felicity. He gave her a nod and left in satisfaction at the state of their relationship. He even grew fonder of her after she ceased to pester him. Ten minutes later, Nelson tapped into the photo that Ronaldo texted him. It was a photo of Sabrina in an open-back sweater, speaking on the phone in the corridor.

The dark gray sweater might look basic from the front, but it was open back starting from the shoulder blades all the way to the ribbon on her waist.

Her long blond hair swayed behind her back, forming a striking contrast with her sweater, but it all matched well. Her attire was a little suggestive.

He finally realized why she'd put on a jacket at dinner. It turned out that she wanted to keep on the act of a prim and proper daughter-in-law in front of Shannon.

...

Sitting on the couch in the private lounge, Sabrina frowned at the row of hot guys in front of her.

"Are you unsatisfied with all of them?"

"They're pretty, but I don't like pretty men."

Abigail slouched on the couch and stared at her friend. "Well, they certainly can't be compared to that Mr. McDreamy at your home."

Nelson was a remarkable man inside and out. His poise and manners outshone his good looks.

Sabrina, having picked Nelson as her husband, would never be satisfied with anyone else. She flipped through the resumes in her grasp and handed four of them to Abigail, saying, "You are so picky in selecting artists for your studio. It feels like you're choosing your concubines."

"I reserved that privilege for you. Nelson has never satisfied you in three years, right? I'll let you have a taste of power here."

They did not spot Ronaldo, who had been standing by the door for a while. After Nelson stormed away angrily, Ronaldo entered the private lounge and interrupted the girls' night. "Sabrina, Nelson is looking for you."

Surprised, Sabrina gasped, "I thought he went home."
