Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson)

Sabrina chuckled and put her phone down.

The head of the marketing department, Xavier Huffman, who was informing her about the shooting progress, was stunned. He even flattered Pamela insincerely to ensure the shoot would be completed smoothly and quickly. He didn't understand the meaning behind Sabrina's smile.

Pamela, who was also puzzled, asked softly and innocently, "Ms. Wyatt, what did you see that made you so happy?"

Sabrina leaned back and watched Pamela question her provocatively. Sabrina ignored Pamela and spoke to Xavier.

"May I have a look at Ms. Dixon's contract later?"

Pamela's words were valid. Nelson had established a film investment company and invested heavily in Pamela to make her famous. In return, Pamela had proven herself and became the company's star.

Not only did the female romantics in the office envy Nelson and Pamela's relationship, but even the wealthy socialites in their circle showed admiration.

Nelson had been absent from their marriage for years. On the other hand, he had always been there for Pamela and spared no expense for her. After seeing this behavior so often, Sabrina wasn't surprised that Nelson handled Pamela's contract.

"Ms. Dixon, considering how well Mr. Tucker looks after you, I guess you won't understand your contract details. I'll discuss the follow-up with Mr. Tucker directly," Sabrina explained.

She refused to waste any more time on Pamela.

Then, she called Eva and instructed, "Print it out and send it to Mr. Tucker."

Pamela panicked.

"W-what are you going to do?"

Sabrina stood up and looked down at Pamela with a smile.

"It's nothing. Enjoy your meal, Ms. Dixon. I'm leaving now."

Pamela was dumbfounded.

She knew her method of approaching Sabrina this time wasn't strategic, but she had no choice.

She suspected the news of her pregnancy had hurt Sabrina's feelings despite her indifference.

After all, if she didn't love him, Sabrina wouldn't have endured Nelson's behavior in those three years of marriage.

Pamela had been present between them for as long as they had been married.

Only deep love could explain Sabrina's persistence in waiting for Nelson's attention.

However, Sabrina no longer cared about him and even seemed very happy.

But thinking about Nelson's attitude made Pamela fluster.

Over the years, Pamela believed Nelson would never find his beloved again, so she grew comfortable staying by his side. She even thought that she could gradually replace that woman in his heart.

But recently, Nelson had begun to change. He had also stood up for Sabrina. Even news involving him and Pamela now needed his approval before being released, compared to before when he used to allow it tacitly.

Regarding the matter of her pregnancy, Nelson confronted Pamela with displeasure, as if she had caused him trouble. He even insisted on taking control of her social media accounts.

Everyone remarked that Pamela and Nelson were a perfect match. Fans even urged them to tie the knot soon.

She had been the only woman by Nelson's side for years.

She thought she could replace "her" by proceeding gradually.

Little did she know, the most inconspicuous Sabrina would significantly turn the table three years later.

Pamela tried to maintain her image in public. She smiled at Xavier but dug her nails into her palms.

"What does Ms. Wyatt mean?"

Xavier shook his head.

"I don't know either. I'm sure she has her reasons."

Pamela responded with a hum of acknowledgment. However, she was inwardly furious and wanted to speak with Sabrina.

Nelson looked at the supplementary document for Pamela's contract that Eva had sent over.

"Is this... from Ms. Wyatt?"

"Yes. Ms. Dixon mentioned that you had reviewed and revised her contract. So, Ms. Wyatt asked me to send this over..."

The document was an early pregnancy test result that Sabrina had sent her assistant to handle.

Nelson stared at the result and wondered what Sabrina was thinking.

It was the pregnancy test result of Nelson's mistress. But as his wife, Sabrina didn't even bother to call and ask him about it. Sabrina was in his arms with a flushed face only just this morning, asking if he was done.

He found her indifference strange at that moment.

"Have Ms. Wyatt come to speak with me," Nelson annoyedly demanded.

He regretted letting her off easily this morning when she sweetly coaxed him with her red nose.

Nelson was frustrated at Sabrina's actions for ruining his mood.

"Mr. Tucker, there's no need for that. It's just a matter of you signing a complementary agreement," Eva said. She found Nelson hard to please.

Now that Pamela was being so provocative, Nelson thought Sabrina was insane for still wanting to discuss it. "Ms. Brooks, how much do you make a month?"

Eva stared at him blankly.

"What do you mean, Mr. Tucker?"

"She doesn't pay you enough to get involved in other people's marital issues, does she?"

"I'll relay your exact words to Ms. Wyatt," Eva replied.

Nelson was struck speechless.

He felt that the temper of Sabrina's employees was just as bad as hers.

After Eva left, Nelson's expression darkened.

"What on earth is that foolish Pamela doing?"

He tossed the agreement to Dylan.

Dylan frowned.

"This is like..... handling herself over on a silver platter."

Sabrina definitely wouldn't miss such a good opportunity, considering her cleverness.

"So... what should we do? Perhaps you should go talk to her now."
