Reborn Through Fire By Kazuya Higan Chapter 1420
Chapter 1420 If You’re So Disgusted, Don’t Kiss Me
Kisa’s body tensed as she looked at him. “W–What do you want?” she asked, her heart pounding
“You’re always trying to please me, aren’t you? So why don’t you use your body to do it?” the man said as he unbuttoned her
coat. His slender fingers reached into her collar, his dark eyes showing no desire, only a mocking grin.
“If you want to seduce me, at least put some effort into it, won’t you?”
Kisa’s heart raced as she gazed deeply into his dark eyes.
“Gilbert, please don’t do this.”
Gilbert chuckled softly, his powerful fingers lingering on her neck, threatening to snap her delicate neck at any moment.
“Then tell me, what should I do?”
Kisa was speechless as his hand tightened around her neck. Despite his smile, she felt more. terrified and vulnerable than when
he was angry.
“But really, I’m giving you a chance,” he continued. “If you can lower yourself and please me, I might even fall for you. And then,
you could easily kill me, couldn’t you? Or maybe you’re always thinking about Jensen, so you can’t do this? I’m curious, what
were you thinking about when we were together? Did you imagine that I was him?”
As the man’s words grew more absurd, Kisa felt angry and helpless. She looked deeply into his eyes and said, “I have no
romantic feelings for Jensen.”
Gilbert laughed softly. “Which of the words coming out of your mouth are true and which are lies?” “I now... um...”
As Kisa was speaking, he suddenly grabbed her by the back of the neck and fiercely pressed his lips onto hers. His dominant
kiss was filled with roughness and aggression, and its dark intensity nearly consumed her. Kisa thought he would torture her, as
he had done so many times before, but to her surprise, he kissed her for a few seconds and then pushed her away with force.
The impact caused her body to collide with the car door, leaving her slightly dizzy.
Frowning, she yelled at him, “Are you insane?”
Gilbert did not speak, but instead used a tissue to wipe his lips, as if he was disgusted by her breath.
This made Kisa extremely angry. “If you are so disgusted, then don’t kiss me. Who asked you to
kiss me?”
He lowered the car window and threw the tissue outside. He then quickly started the car, and a blast of cold wind rushed in,
mixed with his icy mockery. “Your taste is nothing special.”
Feeling cold and trembling, Kisa’s face turned red in anger.
‘Nothing special? Okay, I will remember that. If he has the guts, he should never touch me again!‘
She looked outside with indignation, feeling suffocated and her eyes filled with tears. She comforted herself by thinking that it
was her fault for hurting his heart and making him
misunderstand, which led him to humiliate her. With this thought, her anger at him dissipated a
little.
The next day, Gilbert took her on the Kooper family’s helicopter. The private aircraft had been out of commission, but it had just
been repaired and flown over, although Kisa did not know if it was fully operational.
As she looked around the helicopter, she turned to Gilbert beside her and said, “Why don’t we just take a regular flight back?”
He leaned back in his seat, his long legs crossed with a magazine open on his knee, his eyes fixed on the pages. Kisa thought
he would not respond, but to her surprise, he spoke in a relaxed tone.
