Chapter 14

Chapter 14 Where Are You Taking My Wife?

Hearst carried Anaya down the stairs, as easily as holding a light cat. He walked firm and steady.

Martin and the driver were waiting for Hearst at seat Bos.

This was the seat of Anaya and Aracely.

When Hearst went upstairs, Martin came over to guard Aracely.

Martin saw that Anaya had fainted and asked, "Is she alright? Do you need my help?"

"No, she just fell asleep." Hearst looked at the driver and said lightly, "Send Ms. Tarleton home."

"Yes." The driver nodded.

Hearst took Anaya's bag and continued walking.

He looked around and found Anaya's car at a glance.

Hearst put her down, held her in his arms, and searched for the car keys in her bag.

Anaya slept in a daze. Her head was rubbing against his chest like a cat's paw scratching his heart. It was a little itchy.

Hearst said with a faint smile as he placed his large palm on top of her head and pressed it lightly, "Don't move."

Anaya moaned and quieted down.

Hearst bent down to put her in the passenger seat, fastened the seat belt, straightened up, and prepared to close the car door.

A hand reached out from behind him, pulled the car door, and stopped him.

"Sir, where are you taking my wife?"

Hearst turned around and met Joshua's deep, dark eyes.

Hearst turned around. The smile in his eyes disappeared. He said, "Are you her husband? I saw you leave with another woman just now."

"That is..." Joshua was speechless. For a moment, he did not know how to explain. He just said, "Although I was hugging another woman just now, I was her husband. Return my wife to me!"

Joshua and his friends changed places to play, but he was still thinking about the situation at the bar.

Joshua was not far from here. He could not help but return to take a look.

Unexpectedly, Anaya was taken by a strange man into the car. Sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FindNʘᴠᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

He thought, she is dead drunk with a strange man. Why is this woman so defenseless?

If I didn't come back just now, what would happen to these two people?

Hearst's eyes were cold. "I heard that you are about to get a divorce."

Joshua was enraged. He did not think about how this strange man knew so much about him and Anaya. He said in a deep voice, "We are still husband and wife now!"

"You will divorce sooner or later."

"You!" Joshua was enraged. "She is still my wife now. If you dare to touch her, I will never let you go!"

"Don't worry, I won't touch her until you officially divorce her," Hearst said in a determined tone.

Hearst had waited for so many years. He was not in a hurry.

Joshua gritted his teeth.

He thought, what does he mean? As soon as we divorce, will he pursue Anaya?

How could this be!

"Even if I divorce her and abandon her, you are not allowed to touch her!"

"This doesn't seem to be your business."

Hearst looked at ease, which completely angered Joshua.

With a gloomy face, Joshua reached out his hand to pull the person in the car out directly.

Hearst grabbed Joshua's hand and said in a low voice, "Mr. Maltz, now that you have decided to divorce, don't hesitate."

Joshua looked dreadful. He decided to forcefully break through.

Before he acted, a soft voice came from behind him. "Joshua, I've been looking for you for a while."

A few seconds later, Lexie came here.

She smiled and took Joshua's arm. "You suddenly disappeared. Everyone is looking for you..."

She seemed to have just noticed Hearst. This is?"

Joshua regained his rationality and coldly shook off Hearst's hand, not saying anything.

Hearst was polite and indifferent. "I am Hearst."

Lexie asked again, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing." Joshua felt angry, but in front of Lexie, he tried his best to restrain himself. He said, "Didn't you say that everyone was looking for me? Let's go back."

Joshua thought, that's right. I am going to divorce Anaya. It doesn't matter to me which man took her away!

Lexie hesitated and said, "Joshua, why don't you send Anaya back first? In any case, she is your wife. If she left with someone else, it would be inappropriate..."

Joshua was in a fit of anger and blurted out, "She is a promiscuous woman. It's none of my business."

With that, he left without looking back.

Hearst turned around to close the car door, only to see the person in the car looking out of the window with half of his eyes lowered.

Her eyes looked sad. She cursed in a low voice before quickly closing her eyes and falling asleep.

Hearst walked to the driver's seat. Just as he touched the car door, his phone rang.

The call went through. Hearst could feel Samuel's laid-back temperament. "Hearst, Mr. Seabright said that you went to save a beauty just now. Will you come back after you send her off later? I just found out that this bar can play shooker. Do you want a shot?"

"No. You guys play."

Hearst paused for a moment and asked, "Have you found a volunteer for that project of Smoak Hardy?"

"No. That pilot project is harmful to humans. The success rate is still low. Nobody wants to be a volunteer."

Hearst said, "Find the man in room 206 of the Night Pub. You can do anything you want."

Hearst's words were the guarantee of their actions.

"What did that man do? Why are you so cruel?" Samuel asked excitedly.

Hearst didn't reply and hung up the phone.

Samuel threw his phone on the bar counter. He had a depressed face and said, "He is hanging up my phone again."

Seeing that, Martin sent away the woman beside him and asked Samuel with a cynical smile, "Is he coming?"

"No. I guess he would sleep with Ms. Dutt."

Martin put away his playful smile and reminded Samuel seriously, "You'd better not let him hear you."

Samuel said perfunctorily. "OK, fine. We all know that Hearst loves Ms. Dutt. He respects her very much." He muttered, "I wonder if Ms. Dutt is a super beauty. Hearst has loved her for so many years."

Joshua and Lexie returned to their friends. They left early in low spirits.

"Go inside the room," he said as he sent Lexie to the hotel room.

Joshua turned around to leave, but Lexie held his hand. She lowered her head and said shyly, "Aren't you coming in for

a seat?"

Joshua understood what she meant.

But for the time being, he wasn't ready to completely accept Lexie.

Joshua pursed his lips. "You should be tired after playing for a night. Have a good rest. I won't go in."

A look of unwillingness flashed across Lexie's eyes.

At the entrance of the bar, Lexie had heard the conversation between Joshua and Hearst.

Although Joshua and Anaya had been married for a year, Lexie was not in a hurry to return to the country. First, the Dutt family was the top clan. She would not be able to win over Anaya. Second, she knew that Joshua loved her. She knew that Joshua would not have sex with Anaya. He would not be moved by Anaya.

Lexie firmly believed that no matter when she came back, Joshua was hers.

However, she changed her mind.

She could feel that Joshua was paying more attention to Anaya than ever.

Sometimes, Joshua would ignore Lexie because of Anaya.

This caused Lexie to feel a sense of crisis.

Lexie believed that if she did not have sex with Joshua as soon as possible, she would lose this man.

She raised her head and stood on her tiptoes, wanting to kiss Joshua on the lips.
