Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring novel (Naomi)

Chapter 157

It was not only Dylan who was waiting outside the hospital. Jonas was there, too.

Jonas immediately covered Dylan's mouth with his hand, forcing him to shut up.

Naomi looked at Dylan glaring at Jonas, as well as Jonas' reaction. She wanted to laugh.

Looking at them, she smiled.

Scott sensed her change in mood in his arms. He lowered his gaze and looked at her. Under the moonlight, her smile was as warm and bright as the moon shining brightly in the night sky. His darkened gaze softened slightly.

He carried her and strode into the hospital.

Dylan arranged for a general medical practitioner. After all, it could not be something specific that would need a specialist, right?

Of course, it was mainly because Jonas said so, and he listened to him.

Seeing the doctor dealing with Naomi's ankle, Dylan raised his thumbs at Jonas. He kept muttering, "You're amazing! Amazing!"

Jonas was leaning against the door with his hands in his pockets. He was annoyed by Dylan's mutters and left.

Dylan did not get angry at all. Instead, he smiled and looked at Scott, who stood next to Naomi.

Scott was by Naomi's side, looking at the doctor dealing with Naomi's ankle and listening to the things that they should pay attention to.

Naomi's sprain was quite serious. She could not move for a while. She needed bed rest. They would need to observe how well she recovered in the next few days. She should be able to move a little in a few days. Otherwise, she would still have to continue bed rest.

Naomi listened to the doctor with furrowed brows. Her gaze was complex.

She was in Herland for work. She was barely there for a few days, and she already sprained her ankle. She was not going to be able to work! She wondered if this would affect the others.

More importantly, the injury on her hand was almost healed. She could soon resume a normal life. Never would she have thought that her ankle would be injured then.

Her injuries were a huge inconvenience to her life.

She was stressed out that she could not walk for a few days and needed someone to care for her.

As the doctor finished explaining all the things that they should pay attention to, he was also almost done with Naomi's ankle. He got up to prescribe Naomi some medicine. At that moment, Scott said, "Does she need to stay in the hospital?"

"No need. Just take her medicine on time and have lots of bed rest. Pay attention to the things I've just said. Come and check again two days later."

"Mmh."

Dylan looked at Scott, then at Naomi. He grinned so much that his eyes narrowed in glee.

"Don't worry, Naomi. Scott is around. He can care for you. Don't worry!"

Naomi looked in distress. Anyone could see what she was worrying about. Dylan was an acute observer. Naturally, he understood as well.

When she heard what Dylan said, she was a little stunned. She quickly replied, "No need. I—I can get a caretaker."

Then, she saw Scott take the doctor's prescription to go and get her medicine. He said nothing.

Naomi looked at him as if he did not hear her conversation with Dylan. She added, "He's busy working. He doesn't have to care for me. The caretaker will do it."

Dylan winked. "The caretaker won't be as caring as your husband. Naomi, you don't have to be so considerate. You're usually caring for Scott and taking care of the family. You're hurt right now. You should let Scott repay the favor. Furthermore..."

Dylan looked at Scott and smiled. "You were doing well just now. You sprained your ankle right after you came with Scott. It's obvious he didn't look after you properly, which is why he has to care for you as repayment!"
