Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1569

After putting on the gown, Tina understood why Cyrilla praised her taste.

The pearl-gray dress looked ordinary, but it had many elaborately designed details: the lines of the V-collar before her chest were elegant and ethereal; from below the waist, the long gauze dress reaching to the floor was like a ribbon of moonlight.

Especially when she walked gently, the hem of the dress swayed, making her as graceful as a fairy in the tale.

Tina, as a student of clothing design, picked up this dress out of instinct. As it turned out, she made the right choice.

Cyrilla walked around her and turned around very excitedly. "Miss Hall, you will be the most beautiful woman tonight!" Tina thought she overpraised.

She was not a celebrity and did not need to compete for attention at all.

However, when she looked up at herself in the mirror, she was indeed amazed.

With a slight shift of her gaze, she saw that a tall figure leaning against the door was watching her in the mirror.

Wilson had also put on his dark grey suit that just matched her pearl grey dress. His legs under the suit looked attractively long and shapely. The black obsidian buttons on his cuffs glowed with warm light. As his mouth under his rimless platinum glasses slightly curved up, he appeared outstandingly gentle and elegant.

Her deep eyes behind the glasses were fixed on her.

There was a slight smile on her lips. "You are gorgeous tonight!"

Tina was no longer an emotionally immature girl, but she was still delighted to hear his praise.

She smiled and said, "Thank you, Mr. Chin!"

When she looked down, her heart beat faster.

After changing their clothes, they left the store.

Cyrilla looked at their backs and could not take her eyes off them. Somehow, she felt that they were not going to a party, but more like going to the appreciation banquet for their wedding. They were a perfect match.

The holiday village was in the north of the river, and it took them an hour to get there.

It seemed that the resort in Japanese architecture style was a new resort. There were a lot of luxury cars parked at the door.

Most of the attendants in the lobby were in kimono.

Wilson helped Tina get off the car.

The dinner was held on the third floor.

When they came out of the elevator, Wilson suddenly leaned to her and said, "You may meet an acquaintance tonight!" He addressed it simply. It seemed that he wanted her to get prepared for something in advance.

Tina was puzzled.

However, Wilson did not explain more and just curled his lips up into a light smile.

When he was about to enter the banquet hall, his cell phone rang. It seemed to be an important phone call about work. His expression suddenly became serious and let her go in by herself.

Tina nodded, lifted her dress hem, and walked in.

In the huge banquet hall, people with gorgeous hair and in perfumed clothes were toasting each other.

Tina had been adopted by the Koo family for many years. Lilith in this rich and powerful family who considered herself as a noble lady of high society loved holding various kinds of parties at home. Thus, Tina had taken part in such parties many times and did not feel embarrassed at such occasions.

She was just here to accompany Wilson, so she found a quiet corner to wait for him.

However, she attracted many people's attention as soon as she appeared.

Wilson told Cyrilla not to apply much makeup for her, so the stylist just put on delicate, light makeup, which unexpectedly added brilliance to her facial features.

Her eyes were clear and unstained, and her long and smooth hair was piled up high, which exposed her fair-skinned and slender neck.

Cyrilla had acclaimed her to be as outstanding as a celebrity. Well, she was right. Just as Tina entered the banquet, a person who mistook her for a movie star came up with a paper and pen to ask for her signature.

Tina was embarrassed and quickly waved her hands to refuse.

Not far away, another graceful figure was enjoying the feeling of being praised and appreciated by many.

"Mona, you look so beautiful tonight!"

"When I came in, I almost thought I was at a red carpet show!"

"Your red dress is gorgeous! I heard that the designer of your dress was also here tonight.

I guess only you can handle it well. Besides, the designer must be delighted to see it on

you, a superstar!"

Mona, surrounded by many young ladies, enjoyed their praise.

She waved her hand with a humble look, but in fact, she was very happy in her heart.

Tonight, she had spent a lot of effort to make her outstanding - with nearly half of her back exposed, she was indeed sexy today with this magnificent claret dress.

She was a celebrity. Wherever she went, she was gloriously radiant. Especially in such a business banquet, she felt at ease as a fish in water - she was determined to be the most eye-catching one in this banquet.

While she was enjoying the crowd's applause, someone suddenly said, "Hey, who is that star? She's so beautiful!"

Mona immediately frowned. She had already inquired beforehand. There were some actresses attending this party, but they were less well-known and unpopular. Mona did not care about them at all. Thus, hearing the words, she looked over with an unhappy face.

Tina bowed her head to refuse the person who mistakenly regarded her as a star and asked for her autograph, so when Mona looked over, she did not see her face clearly at the first time. However, seeing the graceful figure standing there, she felt threatened.

When Tina looked up, Mona saw her face and was flustered. Almost immediately, she rushed over in her high heels.

Mona came up and asked, "Why are you here?"

Tina frowned. When she saw it was Mona, she immediately felt a headache.

She greeted with a fake smile, "Mona!"

Mona stared at her, aksing in an overbearing manner. "Didn't you hear me? Why did you come here?"

Tina said lightly, "But it's none of your business."

Mona sneered with a sarcastic look. "Hum, I know it even if you don't tell me! You must have heard that Wilson would come to this banquet tonight, so you deliberately dressed up and came here to attract his attention! But you slept with another man behind his back, which made lots of sensational headlines. Don't you remember that?! How could you expect Wilson to forgive you? I advise you to give up this idea as soon as possible!"

When Tina appeared, Mona guessed that she came here with the same purpose as her.

After the scandal last time, she was in disgrace with Wilson, who seemed to have abandoned her. Therefore, she smartly dressed up and came here to get his forgiveness.

Tina did not say anything and just quietly watched her as she criticized her.

Mona looked at her scornfully as if she was looking at a clown. She said coldly and proudly, "I told you long ago that Wilson would never treat you seriously. Once he was tired of you, he would kick you off! Do you know that the news sent him into a long rage? Now he doesn't even want to see your face because it will disgust him! So, get out of here as soon as possible!"

After that, Mona saw a person coming in and came to him in a graceful manner.
